The Bego´s corner

Hoy os traigo nuevas páginas del mini álbum que os enseñé la semana pasada, con páginas en blanco de papel de acuarela, para ir creando mini layouds de momentos de esta primavera. // Today I bring you new pages of the mini album that I showed you last week, with blank pages of watercolor paper, to create mini layouds of moments from this spring.

En el primer post no hablamos de la portada, así que vamos a empezar por ahí. Es muy simple, pero llamativa. Sobre la primera página en blanco, pegué una lámina de madera con la frase “Enjoy the sweet moment”, disfruta el dulce momento, y eso es lo que representa cada una de las páginas de este mini. // In the first post we do not talk about the cover, so let’s start there. It is very simple, but striking. On the first page in white, I pasted a sheet of wood with the phrase “Enjoy the sweet moment”, enjoy the sweet moment, and that is what each of the pages of this mini represents.

Como en las páginas que ya os enseñé, el nexo de unión es el negro. Siempre acompañado de un color más llamativo y de diferentes sellos. En estas páginas usé una plantilla de flores con pintura en azul eléctrico y un toque light con la blonda en blanco. // As in the pages that I already showed you, the link is black. Always accompanied by a more striking color and different stamps. In these pages I used a template of flowers with electric blue paint and a light touch with white lace.

Estas páginas son primavera en estado puro! De nuevo sellos nuevos y negro combinado con rosa. Los sellos que me traje de Creativa este año me están dando mucho juego! Y espero seguir con el mini e ir enseñándoos pronto!! // These pages are pure spring! Again new stamps and black combined with rose. The stamps that I brought from Creativa this year are giving me a lot of play! And I hope to continue with the mini and go teach you soon!

Se trata de un mini álbum cuyas páginas están en blanco y iré llenándolo usando siempre pinturas, tintas, sellos,… Cada página será como un mini layoud, y el elemento común es que cada página tendrá una tira de tres fotos de algún momento especial de esta estación. // It is a mini album whose pages are blank and I will fill it always using paints, inks, stamps, … Each page will be like a mini layoud, and the common element is that each page will have a strip of three photos of some time special of this season.

La estructura es muy sencilla, hojas blancas de papel de acuarela, para que aguante bien las diferentes capas de pintura y tintas, con tres agujeros en la parte superior y una tapa de acetato. Esta estructura me permitirá ir añadiendo más hojas si lo necesito. // The structure is very simple, white sheets of watercolor paper, to withstand the different layers of paint and inks, with three holes on the top and an acetate cap. This structure will allow me to add more sheets if I need it.

He ido usando pintura acrílica en color y en negro, todas las páginas tendrán el negro como nexo común. También diferentes sellos que me compré en la última edición de Creativa en Bruselas y para dar algo de volumen podréis ver washi tape, hilos, blondas, … // I have been using acrylic paint in color and black, all pages will have black as a common link. Also different stamps that I bought in the last edition of Creative in Brussels and to give some volume you can see washi tape, threads, lace, …

Me motiva mucho el tener estas hojas en blanco delante y tener que crear algo diferente cada vez que pasas la página. Seguiré recogiendo momentos de estos meses de primavera y os iré enseñando pronto!! Hoy os traigo un DIY muy sencillo y perfecto para poder hacer con los peques. Se trata de darle una segunda vida a las hueveras típicas de cartón. Dándoles color, decorándolas y usándolas como cajas. // Today I bring you a very simple and perfect DIY to do with the kids. It is about giving a second life to the typical egg cartons. Giving them color, decorating them and using them as boxes.

Es un DIY que vi hace mucho tiempo en Pinterest, tenéis muchísimas ideas para inspiraros y buscar el uso que más os guste para este proyecto. // It is a DIY that I saw a long time ago on Pinterest, you have many ideas to inspire you and find the use you most like for this project.

Empezamos limpiando un poco la huevera con una servilleta, y directamente a pintar. La pintura acrílica es perfecta al ser cartón, un par de capas y quedará perfecto. // We started by cleaning the eggcup a little with a napkin, and directly to paint. The acrylic paint is perfect to be cardboard, a couple of layers and will be perfect.

Una vez seco, empezamos a decorar. Podéis darle un toque más vintage como en la que yo he hecho naranja, o algo más moderna como la opción turquesa. // Once dry, we started decorating. You can give it a more vintage touch like the one I made orange, or something more modern like the turquoise option.

En cuanto a los usos, pues en mi caso están decorando un estante en mi scrap corner y las tengo llenas de die cuts de diferentes colecciones. Pero como podréis ver en Pinterest, las opciones son muchas. Desde usarla como joyero, o como cajita para guardar un regalo y llenarla de confeti. También podéis hacer cajitas de dulces o chucherías,…  // As for the uses, because in my case they are decorating a shelf in my scrap corner and I have them full of die cuts from different collections. But as you can see on Pinterest, the options are many. From using it as a jeweler, or as a small box to store a gift and fill it with confetti. You can also make candy boxes or trinkets, …

Tenía estas flores de la colección “Chasing dreams” de  Crate Paper guardadas para hacer algo especial, me encanta el color amarillo y quería usarlas para algo que pudiese decorar en casa. Y que mejor que este marco con una foto muy especial con mis dos amores. // I had these flowers from the collection “Chasing dreams” from Crate paper saved to do something special, I love the yellow color and I wanted to use them for something I could decorate at home. And what better than this frame with a very special photo with my two loves.

El marco es muy sencillo, pero lo que de verdad da juego es la profundidad del mismo. Te permite poner elementos s diferentes niveles y darle más volumen. // The frame is very simple, but what really plays is the depth of it. It allows you to put elements s different levels and give it more volume.

Todos los elementos decorativos son de la misma colección, soy fan de Crate Paper. Tiene unos die cuts chulísimos y siempre dan mucho juego para combinarlos. // All the decorative elements are from the same collection, I’m a fan of Crate Paper. It has some very cool die cuts and always give a lot of game to combine.

Son dos casitas de madera decoradas con papel. Se trata de dos sets de Decotime donde ya te vienen todas las piezas de madera y la decoración precortada. // They are two wooden houses decorated with paper. It is two Decotime sets where all the pieces of wood and pre-cut decoration come to you.

Es muy sencillo y el resultado es chulísimo! Solo hay que ir pegando a la madera las diferentes piezas de papel y después ir decorando con las flores, mariposas o demás elementos que vienen en el pack. // It is very simple and the result is very cool! Qué os parece? Dos palabras muy bonitas y con mucho significado para un día tan especial. Se trata de dos packs de Decotime. Ya vienen todos los elementos necesarios para preparar el DIY. Aunque tengo que deciros que los he hecho mucho más sencillos de lo que marcaba el set. //  What do you think? Two very beautiful words with a lot of meaning for such a special day.   Empecé pintando de blanco las dos palabras, para hacerlas más dulces. Una vez seca la pintura acrílica, hay que empezar a decorar. // I started painting the two words white, to make them sweeter. Once the acrylic paint dries, you have to start decorating.

  En los sets vienes todos los elementos precortados así que es algo perfecto para hacer en un ratito y despejaros después de un día de rutina. // In the sets you come all the pre-cut elements so it’s something perfect to do in a little while and clear up after a day of routine.

  Ambas palabras siguen el mismo estilo, blanco y rosas, muy dulce, como el resto de decoración. Seguro que muchos de vosotros lo conocéis o incluso hacéis, pero yo lo he empezado a hacer este 2018 y la verdad que me está encantando. Se trata del Project Life, es un tipo de álbum para ir creando un diario usando imágenes, recortes, tarjetas, tickets, etc. Todo lo que nos pueda recordar un momento gracioso, especial o bonito. Puedes ir haciéndolo por semanas o por meses por ejemplo.// Surely many of you know him or even do, but I have started to do this 2018 and the truth that I love.   Yo lo he empezado a hacer por meses, recogiendo lo más destacado de cada mes, haciendo un poco de diario y con algunas entradas o recortes especiales. Hoy os traigo de nuevo un DIY muy sencillo. Se trata de un alterado, con una estructura de madera he creado un marco muy romántico y con un toque diferente. // Today I bring you again a very simple DIY. It is an altered, with a wooden structure I have created a very romantic frame with a different touch.

Se trata de un pack de Decotime, viene ya la pieza de madera, elementos precortados para decorar y algo de pegamento o cuadraditos 3D. Puedes hacerlo siguiendo el modelo o cambiarlo, como es mi caso, y adaptarlo a tu gusto. // It is a pack of Decotime, comes the piece of wood, pre-cut elements to decorate and some glue or 3D squares. You can do it following the model or change it, as is my case, and adapt it to your liking.

  Podéis añadir cualquier elemento para decorar, cintas, puntillas, flores de tela o papel, perlitas, stickers… Yo por ejemplo pinte la estructura de blanco para darle un toque más suave, pero seguro que de otro color quedaría perfecto! // You can add any element to decorate, ribbons, lace, cloth or paper flowers, pearls, stickers … I for example paint the structure of white to give it a softer touch, but surely another color would be perfect!

    Es un proyecto muy sencillo, podéis buscar otro tipo de piezas de madera y decorarlas con fotografías pata hacer un regalo o simplemente para vosotros mismos. // It is a very simple project, you can find other pieces of wood and decorate them with photographs to make a gift or just for yourselves.

El fondo del layoud es un papel blanco y sobre el diferentes trozos de papeles estampados de la colección “Bloom” de Crate Paper. Todos los elementos decorativos también son de esta colección. // The background of the layout is a white paper and on it  different pieces of printed papers from the “Bloom” collection of Crate Paper. All the decorative elements are also from this collection.

    La combinación de colores es muy variada pero casan a la perfección. Esta colección es muy colorida y divertida. Los stickers son chulísimos!!

Una de las esquinas esta doblada y sujeta con una grapa, creando un efecto diferente. También di unos toques con un pincel y pintura muy diluida para crear unas gotas alrededor de la foto. // One of the corners is bent and held with a staple, creating a different effect. I also gave some touches with a brush and very diluted paint to create some drops around the photo.

Me encanta el scrap porque mientras trabajas con una o varias fotografías estás recordando los momentos que disfrutaste o hiciste algo diferente. Con el scrap adornamos unos recuerdos ya espaciales de por sí! // I love scrap because while you work with one or more photographs you are remembering the moments you enjoyed or did something different. With the scrap we decorate some memories already spatial in itself!

Se trata de la colección “Chasing dreams” de Crate Paper y el álbum es de nuestro viaje a Paris. // This is the collection “Chasing dreams” by Crate Paper and the album is from our trip to Paris.

Para la encuadernación utilicé el cosido belga, las tapas están forradas con papel texturizado liso y la portada es una postal de la ciudad que compré en una librería. // For the binding I used the Belgian stitching, the covers are lined with smooth textured paper and the cover is a postcard of the city that I bought in a bookstore.

El cosido belga permite añadir los librillos que necesitemos, solo hay que hacer el lomo más ancho, en este caso hay seis librillos y le hice un lomo de seis centímetros para tener espacio y añadir volumen con las decoraciones. // The Belgian stitching allows us to add the booklets we need, we just have to make the broader spine, in this case there are six booklets and I made a six-centimeter spine to have space and add volume with the decorations.

Los librillos están hechos con papeles de 30×30 de la colección “Chasing dreams” y con cartulinas lisas en tonos a juego con los colores de la colección. Toda la decoración es de la misma colección: los die cuts, stickers y chipboards. // The booklets are made with 30×30 papers from the collection “Chasing dreams” and with smooth cards in tones to match the colors of the collection. All the decoration is from the same collection: die cuts, stickers and chipboards.

Podéis ver también varias maderitas, alguna blonda, perlas y enameldots a juego con la colección. Un álbum lleno de recuerdos de un viaje inolvidable. En la tapa trasera añadí un bolsillo para poder guardar los mapas y algunas postales que no incluí en las páginas interiores. // You can also see several wooden forms, some lace, pearls and enameldots to match the collection. An album full of memories of an unforgettable trip. In the back cover I added a pocket to be able to save the maps and some postcards that I did not include in the interior pages.

Qué mejor que recordar buenos momentos con layouds , no os parece? Este par de layouds que os voy a enseñar hoy, forman parte del diario del año pasado. // What better to remember good times with layouds, do not you think? Esas dos fotos merecían de unos proyectos coloridos y alegres, nuestro primer carnaval en Hasselt y con una compañía inmejorable!// Those two photos deserved some colorful and happy projects, our first carnival in Hasselt and with an unbeatable company!

Para ambos layouds usé un fondo blanco y sobre él fui montando tiras de diferentes medidas y papeles hasta crear la combinación que más me gustó. Siempre siguiendo las gamas de rosas y azules en los dos proyectos. // For both layouds I used a white background and on it I mounted strips of different sizes and papers to create the combination that I liked the most. Always following the ranges of roses and blues in the two projects.

  La decoración en ambos también relacionada, toques en negro y los títulos en madera, “Love life” y “Big smile”, títulos muy happy como caracteriza siempre a mis layouds. // The decoration in both also related, touches in black and the titles in wood, “Love life” and “Big smile”, titles very happy as it always characterizes my layouds.

Podéis ver en ambos layouds, algunas perlitas, botones de colores, un par de brads y stickers 3D para darles un toque más divertido. // You can see in both layouds, some pearls, colored buttons, a couple of brads and 3D stickers to give them a more fun touch.

Este tipo de layoud es perfecto para aprovechar trozos de papeles de otros proyectos y darles un nuevo uso muy original. Yo tenía esta hoja de matrioskas desde hace mucho tiempo y me pareció que había llegado su momento. Os voy a enseñar un mini álbum muy sencillo de hacer y que puede serviros para hacer un regalo o detalle. El tamaño y la capacidad depende de vosotros. Yo quise hacerlo más bien mini y no le puse las anillas muy grandes, pero cuantas más páginas queráis más grandes ponéis las anillas y listo. // I’m going to show you a very simple mini album that can be used to make a gift or detail. The size and capacity depends on you. I wanted to do it rather mini and I did not put the big rings, but the more pages you want the bigger you put the rings and that’s it.

Para la portada, un trozo de cartón reciclado, arrancáis un poco las primeras capas y una vez lo tengáis al gusto solo hay que pasar a darle color. Yo utilicé pinturas de la pajarita, pero podéis también decorarlo con geso, sellos o cualquier otra tinta. // For the cover, a piece of recycled cardboard, you tear off the first layers a little and once you have it to your taste you just have to give color. I used paints from the “Pajarita”, but you can also decorate it with geso, stamps or any other ink.

El interior es muy sencillo, hay que cortan a la medida elegida papeles o cartulinas y hacerles dos agujeros en la parte superior. Lo unimos todo con dos anillas y listo. //The interior is very simple, you have to cut to the chosen size some paper or cards and make two holes in the top. We put everything together with two rings and that’s it.

El último paso, seguro que el preferido de todos, la decoración!!! // The last step, I sure that it´s your favourite, the decoration!!

Es una estructura muy simple, lo divertido es darle un toque diferente a la portada y al interior. Perfecto para guardar las fotografías de un viaje o de una fiesta! // It is a very simple structure, the fun is to give a different touch to the cover and the interior. Perfect to store photographs of a trip or a party!

Quería darle un toque más personal al salón, me parecía algo vacío. Y en Pinterest encontré la solución. Se trata de decorar formando palabras con piezas de Scrabble. Las opciones son infinitas y el resultado súper resultón.//I wanted to add a more personal touch to the room, it seemed somewhat empty. And on Pinterest I found the solution. It’s about decorating by forming words with Scrabble pieces. The options are endless and the result is very nice.

Yo elegí las palabras FAMILY, LOVE, HOME entrelazadas. Es algo muy sencillo de hacer, ahora os explico cómo lo preparé.//I chose the words FAMILY, LOVE, HOME intertwined. It is something very simple to do, now I explain how I prepared it.

Primero os aconsejo dibujar a lápiz la letra en cada pieza. Intentando hacerlas todas de la misma medida y centradas. Podéis sustituir alguna letra por alguna forma, como y hice con la “o” y el corazón de la palabra Love.//First I advise you to pencil the letter in each piece. Trying to make them all of the same size and centered. You can substitute some letter by some form, like and I did with the “o” and the heart of the word Love.

Una vez las letras dibujadas, con un pincel fino las perfiláis antes de rellenarlas. Será mucho más fácil para no salirse después. Con dos capas me quedo un tono uniforme, pero ya eso a gustos. Cuando la pintura este bien seca, una capa de barniz incoloro y listo!//Once the letters are drawn, you outline them with a fine brush before filling them. It will be much easier not to leave later. With two layers I get a uniform tone, but that already tastes. When the paint is very dry, a layer of clear varnish and ready!

Para darles un toque aún más personal, los números de las letras forman fechas señaladas, podéis poner el día de un cumpleaños, aniversario…  qué os parece? Es una manualidad sencilla, perfecta para cualquier parte de la casa e incluso una buena idea para preparar un regalo.//To give them an even more personal touch, the numbers of the letters form specific dates, you can put the day of a birthday, anniversary … what do you think? It is a simple craft, perfect for any part of the house and even a good idea to prepare a gift.

Hoy os quiero enseñar el segundo álbum que preparé utilizando el cosido belga para la encuadernación.  Tiene las mismas medidas que el primero que os mostré pero este es mucho más gordito. Al añadirle más librillos lo único que hay que hacer es cortar un lomo más ancho y el resto de proceso es igual.

Today I want to show you the second album I prepared using the Belgian sewing for bookbinding. It has the same measures as the first one that I showed you but this is much more chubby. When adding more booklets the only thing that has to be done is to cut a broader spine and the rest of the process is the same.

Para este álbum seguí con la colección de de Pink Paislee, “Turn de page”. Color y alegría para estás fotografías de principios de otoño. // For this album I continued with the collection of Pink Paislee, “Turn de page”. Color and joy for these photographs of early autumn.

Utilicé para crear las páginas, los papeles de la colección y cartulinas lisas. Los papeles son muy estampados y no quise que quedase muy sobrecargado. Así le pude dar importancia a los elementos decorativos y las frases que vienen tanto de die-cuts como en los stickers. // I used to create the pages, collection papers and smooth cardboards. The papers are very patterned and I did not want him to be very overloaded. So I could give importance to decorative elements and phrases that come both from die-cuts and stickers.
