Scent filled Cassandra’s nostrils as she pressed her back against the railing. This night was proving less than enjoyable for her tastes, blood leaked out, her mind felt dizzy. But still her focus remained in-check. Her were lips laid bare as she breathed in the air. The lower area of her mask was torn in the commotion.
“Can’t go yet…” Her voice said quiet, she had to continue and prowl the night for any activities. Wounds would not stop her, exposed or otherwise. She returned to the rooftops, leaving a small pile of bodies in her wake down below, their heads rattled and unconscious from her precise blows.
She quickly found her footing after leaping to another rooftop, there was no way she would fall. For there was little point in doing so unless it surprised the enemy. But there was no enemy to be found, at least not yet. As the routine pressed onward, she found herself come across another in this city of darkness.
“Yes?”
