Color is very important both for the bosses and the main character(s)

Depending on the character it’s either a main color or an accent (Asroc literally just has it on his hat)

They don’t actually use white (no seriously color pick Copen’s hair)

Gradients are everywhere particularly the hair, clothing, and skin (I recommend using a clipping layer)

It’s also important to note that bosses will have their color on their armed forms BUT the powers don’t have to match color wise (Milas)

Shading seems to go colder for darks and warmer for lights

They also use black for shading

Metal is shaded differently

Practice

Do the flats first and then use a clipping layer

Keep fabrics in mind
