i went to the 'music of square enix' concert and got to meet some cool cats.

#dream drop but the distance was like 30 cm.#i was also the very last person to meet with them too it was pushing midnight and everyone obviously wanted to go home so it was real quick #unfortunately i have not played any square enix games nishiki-san worked on but there *was* a game i've played that had his music in it #he saw 'legend race' and went 'ah that's my song!' he seemed ok with it which is good i was really nervous he'd be pissed or something #i told shimomura-san that when i was 5 i would start new save files for legend of mana just to listen to song of mana again and again #that was not an exaggeration btw and she thanked me for all of my support #eric roth was a BEAST of a conductor im not just being nice here he was incredibly mesmerizing it has to be seen to be believed #i tried really hard to convey that without him thinking im a weirdo i hope that worked #asked me my name and thanked me for coming !!#they signed stuff for me (ff cards + poster + my copy of melody of memory) and we took the pic the concert was great obvi #i was SO nervous i completely forgot to gift them the versions of the artwork without the music player template 😭😭😭#but it was a Moment™️ and if im not dead or broke by then i hope i get to see them again and gift 'em the 'untainted' (😭) prints #music of square enix #saltylotuz appears #saltylotuz talks
