How long until you've ballooned past a size and weight that your coworkers can ignore?

I'm surprised my coworkers have been able to ignore it so far...I've gone from "slightly chubby belly resting on the desk and my chair" to "food-filled sack of a belly taking up the entire chair...Maybe because they see me slowly ballooning over time - they forget eventually that I used to be 200lbs skinnier...and in another 500lbs...they'll forget I used to fit in a normal sized chair....
