Leave them wanting Moore

I’m not one for words really, nice maybe? Courteous would be good. Well-liked? Just something positive!

I’d say so, nowadays the dream has changed but getting paid for my photos really was the dream.

“I’d like that.” Valerie smiles back at him, now too distracted from her meal by his presence. It’s so easy for her to lose track of her surroundings and focus on him. At the kiss, she returns it happily, setting the plate aside and wrapping her arms around his neck and pulling him closer. She honestly feels too happy to be doing this with him, having no qualms with expressing how much he means to her.

He put his hand through her hair, cradling her face to bring her closer. The comfort of the bed beneath them was welcome. From the heat between them and his own desire he hated to break it up but he couldn’t help smiling. Almost a chuckle. She had a way of making his mind wander. He pulled away only the slightest amount, remaining close and spoke quietly. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to ruin the moment.” He really didn’t, yet another laugh slipped through. Andrew just thought of how funny life was. One moment, or morning rather, being entirely different than the last. Six months ago he didn’t see this for himself, hell six days ago even, getting to be with someone who he truly cared for again. It was probably too early to say something like that but he felt it and was so glad. 

“I know you wouldn’t. You’re too sweet.” She says and returns the kiss with a smile. She takes a bite out of the eggs and licks her lips. “It’s yummy, darling. Maybe I’ll cook you breakfast next time.” She offers and then giggles at his small verbal blunder. “I’m sure I can think of a reason or two we could need your bed.” Valerie states with a suggestive wink in his direction and reaches over, running her fingers through his dark curls. “I’d love to wake up to you as often as possible.” She says and kisses him back once again.

“Sounds good, maybe we’ll do some other stuff next time too.” He shrugged, smiling. Val always knew how to turn something stupid he did into something nice, most of the time something he wouldn’t think to say aloud. “I’d like nothing better.” Andrew met her lips, he put his hands on her waist deepening the kiss. More passion than their first kiss last night but really it couldn’t come soon enough. He hoped she felt the same. Andrew didn’t want to take it too far, that wasn’t his intention just a moment to share how he was feeling, how she made him feel. 

Valerie smiles immediately when she sees Andy enter the room. “Good morning, sweetheart. I almost thought you left me.” She says with a fake pout but moves to quickly kiss his cheek before grabbing a plate of eggs for herself. “I’m loving the breakfast in bed and I can definitely get used to waking up in your bed. I don’t know how I’ll be able to take it when I eventually go home.” Honestly, she doesn’t even know if she wants to go back, but alas, she still has her lease and her job to get back to. Tragically.

“I would never.” He breathed, moving his face to meet her lips. He smiled definitely feeling pleased by her words. “I was up a bit earlier and thought it’d be a nice treat. I’m not a chef but I promise no egg shells.” He laughed. “I’m glad you had a good night. My bed is always here if you need it.. wait, scratch that you know what I mean.” He was ready to shut himself up with some toast. “Just that you’re always welcome, I’d be happy to get used to waking up to you.” He smiled giving another kiss.

When Valerie woke up, it took her a few moments to remember where she was and how she got there. Once the clarity hits, she remembers how the night went with Andrew and smiles before looking around, hoping to see him. When she doesn’t, she pouts and crawls out of the bed and wanders around the apartment. He’s still no where to be found. Her pout turns into a frown but she sighs and relaxes. Yes, she’s had moments where she’s woken up from a date or a one night stand to the other person leaving her alone, but Andrew wasn’t like that. He wouldn’t just leave her, especially in his apartment. Maybe he just stepped out? But now bored, she walks back into his room and sits on his bed, waiting for his return.

Andrew heard some rustling around, realizing Valerie was waking up earlier than he expected he quickly finished up cooking. Her footsteps faded back to the bedroom Andrew sighed, his cover wasn't blown. He loaded up the breakfast tray with the eggs and toast, heading into his room. “Good morning darling. The surprise was almost ruined but here we are.” He gestured to the breakfast, it wasn’t much and they might have to head out for coffee after but he tried he hoped that was worth something. He set the tray down on the nightstand, crawling back in beside her. “How are you doing?”

She doesn’t know what he has planned but at this point, she probably doesn’t care too much. The way he smiled brightly at the idea was enough to assure her that she would be happy to go, no matter what. “I actually love the idea of you going out of your way to be romantic. You’re already the sweetest guy ever, so I really can’t wait.” She says and listens to his slight ramble with a smile still on her face. “We both took a while to express our feelings, but now is better than never. And I like you a lot, too.” After he joins her in the bed and wraps his arm around her, she immediately moves to lay her head against his chest and wrapping her arm around his torso. “It’s all been perfect.” She agrees and closes her eyes with a yawn. “Good night, darling.”

Andrew tried not to get too bashful, Valerie was actually the sweetest for always having kind words. “Oh yeah, we’re talking flowers, surprises, definitely breakfast in the morning.” He chuckled looking at her. “Now’s better than ever I’d say. I’m glad we took that leap.” He nuzzled into her. “Goodnight sweetheart.” He said and kissed the top of her head. He wasn’t sure how long they’d laid like that, in each others arms, before he fell asleep to have the most restful sleep he had in a long time.

Sunlight peeking through the curtains was what eventually woke Andrew up, not that he wanted to for all he knew last night could’ve been an alcohol-induced dream. Lucky for him it wasn’t and Valerie was still beside him. He took a last look at her before sneaking out of bed, going to the kitchen. Andrew started cooking some eggs, he didn’t have pancake mix and didn’t want to chance missing Val if she woke up and he had ran to the store. 

A woodchuck would chuck as much wood as a woodchuck could chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood!

“I’m free this weekend.” Valerie immediately answers. Even if she had weekend plans, they weren’t anything significant enough for her to miss a date with Andrew. Most binge watching either cooking shows or crime dramas. Honestly, nothing worth putting before a date. “I’m only speaking the truth, babe. If anything, I’m lucky that I get to tell you all of this now.” Yes, she does compliment and flirt with him on a regular basis, relishing in seeing him fluster and also loving how he lets her get close to him, but now that they are actually taking a chance with eachother, it seems like a lot more than just tipsy flirtations in a bar. “Technically, we’ve been out plenty of times, even though we never explicitly called them dates. Besides, I may be jumping the gun a little bit, but can you blame me for being excited? I’ve liked you for a while so I’m just thrilled about us doing all the romantic stuff.” She says, wrapping her arms around his neck as he carried her to bed. Even though she was partially joking, she loves the gesture and basically him carrying her in general. After laying in the bed comfortably, she looks up at Andy with a teasing grin. “Your bed is nice but it would be better if you joined me. I like to be cuddled all night, so you’re going to have to sleep with me. Please?”

Andrew smiled wide, excited that she was looking forward to it as much as him. He knew of a wonderful restaurant a friend of his had, although each time was a new experience he still hoped she hadn't been there yet. Some dinner and a walk down one of his favorites places to see at night. Val had seen his photos before but seeing it in person was something else. An evening he had planned to a tee and hoped she’d enjoy. “Yeah I guess thats true, I wouldn’t even know what number date this would be then. Now that we’re explicitly calling it a date I can drop so much more romance on you.” He gently spun them around. “Not at all jumping the gun I’m as excited as you. I’ve been looking forward to the day we actully make us happen and I’m glad it did. Sorry if I havent made that clear because I really like you. Like a lot.” He laughed, it was personal and something he felt he could say being as close as they are. Andrew was proud of their bond, and just how unbreakable it was. “Well I’m not one to argue and looking at my bed now you do look a little lonely.” He lifted the covers, crawling in beside her, pausing to look at her a moment before settling in. He put his arm around her and spoke quietly, soothingly. “I’d say this is a perfect end to the perfect.” Andrew was content and only had one thought on how wonderful it’d be to get to go to bed like this each night.
