You're right. I'm not the original The Adjuster. (He's literally in prison right now, so if I were him with a phone in my hand, that alone should tell you something doesn't add up.)

The point is: I don't care about proving anything to you anymore. I "came back," in the loosest sense, to reconnect with the people who have always treated me like an actual person, not just a body, not just something to project your weird fantasies onto.

So go ahead, tell everyone I'm not the original. That's fine. While you're busy with that, I'll be here, giving and receiving real care from the people who actually deserve my energy.

I owe you an apology for disappearing like that. I know I said I'd keep in touch and it doesn't sit right with me that I couldn't follow through. Things got heavier than I expected and I needed a moment.
