“If my mama knew I’d leave a guest sittin’ alone on my couch while I sleep, she’d give me a damn whoopin’,” he snickered quietly. “…But seriously, talk to me.” He moved toward the kitchen to start up a pot of coffee. He figured while he was up, he might as well just be up.

“Tommy, if you’re tired go to sleep. Your mother, for one, isn’t here. And my issues shouldn’t be more important to you then sleep.” Verin trailed after him, eyes scanning around as she did. “I mean, it’s not like it’s gonna kill me if I don’t talk about it so let’s just not.”

     “If you really want me to cut the bullshit,       I like being fucked in the head. I like killin’      whatever fucker gets in my way. I like the       freedom of bein’ able to do whatever the       hell I want in a city I own. Greasemonkeys      don’t get that privilege.”

“Well, that’s because you’re a little bitch, you ever think of that one. Because look at me pretty boy, I don’t need to go head deep in hardcore shit to kill whoever the fuck I want when I want. I do what I want when I want through both sides of my life. But if you’re not talented enough, I guess you would need something behind you. Because if you were smart you could do both.”

A psychic had a blessed & a curse within their power, especially for Carvel, he could feel every feelings of the others. Which is that he could feel & realize what feelings she was having. After he put a shirt on himself, he sighed as he looked at Verin, remaining in silence for awhile. “It is & it was a horribly long fight on those days.” However, he wouldn’t explain anymore. Last thing that he wanted to do to the people is making them worry over him. “But, trust me. It’ll be heal & I am still alive. It is something very grateful, Verin.” Then he walked passed by her with a question: “care to have a cup of tea?”

“Of course it’ll heal, but that’s not really the worry Carvel. Everything physical heals, but does it ever fuck with you like.. mentally, you know?” Now that he had given her a bit of response, she was certain she could pull more out of him, and get to an answer that she was satisfied with. Though she wouldn’t ignore his attempts to pull the conversation the opposite way. Seeing as if they were both going to pull at separate ends it was only fair to give him what he wanted so she could get what she wanted. “Sure, I’ll have some.”

“Listen, I let you into my place b’cause somethin’s up,” he shook his head. “If you ain’t gonna get to the point, I’m goin’ t’ bed.” He rubbed his knuckle into his eye. 

“Oh just go to bed, if you still really find the need to know when you wake up, I’ll tell you. But I promise you it’s nothing really interesting.” She offered up another momentary smile. “And don’t worry I’m not gonna stab you in your sleep or whatever, I don’t got my knife.”
