I don't dislike valdelangelo, but i am curious as to how it became as big as it is. like i can kinda see the klance-esque vision, but i feel like their interactions weren't negative enough.

like, as much as i despise perc*ico, i can somewhat understand that the amount of animosity mixed with genuine care, would lead some to interpret their dynamic as romantic (even if i think that's a bad interpretation)

but with valdelangelo its just like, three brief negative interactions. I'm assuming it's just vibes and the fact that at the time Nico was more brooding.

valdelangelos weigh in, does it still work with the more whimsical, silly Nico of today, or must he sulk.

ngl, whenever i draw two characters i view as platonic, im always a little afraid that someone will tag it as romantic. which like, is fine as long as its not illegal/harmful. and i understand that i dont have control over how people tag my art. but it makes me nervous that people who see my art from the rb will think the ship tag is part of the og post.
