The Wizard Library

Good morning. If anybody has left a child in the Library, whether by accident or on purpose, we encourage you to pick her up as soon as possible. She has been standing, unblinking, in the middle of the foyer for several hours, and it is starting to get creepy.

What kind of kid, what's she look like? Could be one of my employees' children.

We would appreciate it if you would come and collect her. We've had several complaints from uneasy patrons, and we are unable to move her to a more comfortable place.

Banksy, our resident tamster (tentacle hamster) seems to have developed a higher sentience. If any philosophers are interested in studying him, please submit a short application via this blog - be warned, though, that he seems to exclusively speak in a primitive form of Scots Gaelic, as this is the language that the Librarian has been using around him. Occasionally, he may greet his visitors in a language that does not exist, but we imagine this will not be much more helpful.

Of course! If you make your way to the main reception, the Librarian will meet you there. We hope you will understand that security is tight - Banksy is liable to compulsively breed, and we would like to keep him well away from any other tamsters that may inhabit our halls.

With a last-minute vote from @goblinofthelaboratory, it looks like our tamster will now be known as Banksy! We are sure he will be thrilled with the name, but should probably call one more time for his true owner to step forward before we claim him as our new mascot - after midnight, WLMT (Wizard Library Mean Time), we shall call finders keepers.
