(Eilir allowed the static the surround them, almost overwhelming them. It numbed the pain ever so slightly. They couldn’t See. A fog reminiscent of static filled their mind. They were vaguely aware of the glitching monstrosity they had become, and a faint voice in the back of their mind feared that they may be too far gone and that because of this, they had suffered a great loss. Someone… close, important to them. Why can’t they remember?)
<< Cypher had been hit by that blasted computer whilst trying to fight for Eilir. His blades had done nothing, and his prized weapons had fallen into the Void. (They heard… something. Something very familiar. What… what was it? It sounded so close… like they could reach up and touch it. But their body—was it even a body at this point?—hurt. Everything hurt. The static… there was so much, too much. It sounded like it was mixed with hundreds of different voices saying something all at once, though they couldn’t make it out. That one voice, calling out that familiar word rang out among all of them. Maybe, just maybe, if they could reach up and touch it…)
<< suddenly Cypher felt a hand grab his own. He almost let go, startling and letting out a pained yelp. How deep was the void? Did it even have a depth? He pulled, but it burned his wounds and strained his body. He continued, however, and soon he had Eilir out of the Void. His eyes widened and he quickly pounced onto them, hugging them tight. >>
“Dear gods Eilir I thought I lost you…”

(Tim didnt hear Eilir. Maybe it was the overwhelming ringing still plaguing him even after the explosion or, maybe it was the clear objective.
Somehow reach Jon.
That seemed practically impossible with how much he was melting. His legs would probably give in as soon as he stood.
It didn’t matter though Tim was going to make it over to Jon.
Tim crawled over to where Jon was not even realising someone was calling his name. Tim was so focused on getting to Jon that as soon as he did he just collapsed onto Jon like a kids blanket using it to defend themselves from their monsters.)

(They nodded, though they looked guilty. Eilir hated that they were feeding on Cypher’s fear. They desperately wanted to hug him, both to console him and for their own comfort, but they Knew he was injured and would only be hurt more if they did)
he sighed, biting his lip nervously and nodding. “i figured.” He murmured, giving them a smile.
“When I was little, after my mom passed, my dad… wasn’t a good person. He never was, mind you, but it got worse. I took care of myself then, because he was always out. I never had any idea what he was doing, but I used to think it must be so very important. So I’d always clean up the house for him, waiting for him to get back and whatnot. But I learned, slowly, that when he came home he was always tired and mad. That first night he came back after midnight, I was so excited to ask him what he did all day. The second I asked, he snapped his gaze to me like a zombie in a thriller movie and started yelling. He told me everything that was wrong with me.” He shuddered. “I remember when I started to hide under my bed whenever I heard the door creak open.”

He felt himself slipping, assuming it was fatigue and not blood loss. The wounds all over him seemed to have been forgotten.
