the ministry is watching

RP Experience: I have been active since I was about fourteen. I have portrayed Sirius Black mostly in Marauder Era forums. But wanted to head into a different HP direction. 

Why do you want this character: I chose Dean because while he gets small doses in the books and films, he manages a pretty big personality. These subtle attributes I really like. Like him smirking when Draco and Voldemort hug. Never fails to amuse me. I also like how Dean is just rounded as one of those likeable characters, for being such a good natured human. He makes friends easily, he shows no animosity towards others. He is just the definition of a friend.

Boggart: A severed hand walking on its own.

Quidditch: Chaser.

Wand: Ash with dragon heartstring, twelve and a three quarter inches.

Sexual Orientation: Pan, not something he flaunts, very casual about it.

Birthday: December 2nd, 1979

How does your character feel now that the war is over: Relieved. Deans wants to revive Hogwarts to what he grew up in. A safe haven. Not shelter you need protection from or to protect. Just somewhere you can feel safe, where you can laugh and eat dinner with your best mates without a care in the world.

How does your character feel about the Ministry: Dean has never been a fan. But he has never really vocalized this either. Post war and pre war. But Dean has never been famous for being rebellious either. Dean will keep himself tied down for now in order to avoid conflict. But if he or anyone else he cares about sees themselves in harms way. Dean will ready himself, and fight for side by side with his best friends once more.

My own little add on: While I do see Dean as a very good chaser on the Quidditch team, the books show him as good with a quill. I like the thought of Dean really enjoying calligraphy, and decorating, regardless if he gets mocked by this hobby of his. I like to think of Dean and Seamus as being harmless pranksters too. They are not as well crafted as Fred and George, but not as ill spirited as Sirius and James either.
