Perhaps some of you are familiar, but the Milwaukee MetalFest was one of the premiere heavy metal festivals back in the 80s, 90s, and early 00s. Metalheads from all over the globe would travel here to witness it, every year. Bands such as Opeth, Cradle of Filth, Enslaved, and countless others, played their first gig on North American soil at this very festival. Hypocrisy was on the verge of breaking up, but after playing here, and receiving such an overwhelmingly positive response, they stayed together, and remain active to this day. Legendary doesn’t even begin to describe it.
Now, with its return, they are opening up to fans about suggestions as to who they want to see play.
