Hi! We're the snake collective (because we have a pet snake :3) Bodily a minor. We're pretty new to being a system so this blog will likely include a lot of figuring stuff out. This isn't our main, but irl people follow that blog and we're not out to them.

Please don't use you& terms with us, we just don't like them very much.

We love attention! Feel free to send asks and such!

We're pro endogenic plurality so if you're anti endo then like. Idk just don't send harassment please.

We think dnis are mostly ineffective so choose not to have one. We'll just block people we don't want interacting with us (such as terfs, racists, transandrophobes, etc).

#idk what else to put here I guess this is fine #we found out we were a system awhile ago and used this blog for that a bit #but then completely repressed it. we've come to agreement that we're a system now #bc before it was a bit less unanimous but now we're mostly in agreement #we had a lot of knowledge on systems before our syscovery bc we kinda knew subconsciously #so we kept searching out more info. but we've only known we were a system for a very short time #so right now are only certain of 2 of us. Fun fact Epaulette sharks can "walk" on land (which they use to move from tide pool to tide pool) and can survive complete anoxia (loss of oxygen) for two hours without ill effects

Was playing with the minecraft mod "rolling down in the deep" which is essentially "do a barrel roll" but for underwater. Somewhat disorienting and now my brain is trying to convince me things are upside-down.

#very fun mod. It is not recommended for those who get motion sick.#We also have the origins mod on that world so I was playing as a merling. meaning my whole time was spent underwater #snake hissing #I am going by Velver for now and may put myself in the pinned at a later date #Velvet* (the name isn't finalized which is why I am not yet in the pinned. plus they want to redo it to be nicer)

One of the frustrating things about being plural and not being out about it is that we all have slightly different signs that we're upset/ something is wrong. So maybe one of us has a blank expression on their face and is fine, so we tell folks we're tired when asked. Then later another person has a blank expression and is very much not fine, but assumed to just be tired. And it's hard to explain to people that actually, the way I express emotions just varies completely at times.

What's the first "big news story" you remember from when you were a kid?

It's something I love to ask mixed-aged groups sometimes because I think it's really interesting to see the responses. I've gotten answers from the Olympics of [whatever year] to Watergate to more recent stuff from my niblings.

My first news thing I remember is the OJ Simpson trial. I vaguely remember watching the news with my grandparents before that, but that's the first story I remember, in part because my second grade teacher had us go play so she could watch the verdict 😂

#not a country wide big story but still a big story to me #one of the neighborhoods in my area had a massive water issue. their water was undrinkable #and the city didn't want to fix it. they had someone going up to the city building every day to tell them to fix it.#and the water company didn't want to admit fault either #so for a little while there one neighborhood had straight up green water. awful

We're in a sort of weird middle ground where we don't feel like we're disordered, we function just fine in daily life, but when we really dig into what we actually remember... theres barely anything. and the more we dig the blotchier it gets. we remember the jist of things, like yesterday we did 6 artfight attacks. anything more specific? ask someone else. I couldn't tell you.
