Tumblr ate the post the first time I tried to post this, so here's attempt two! Anyway, Amy has entered the Found Family EXE AU! She comes in after all the stuff with Zohar gets resolved and Rewrite is instantly smitten with her. Also, shout out to this post for the super cool idea of what it looks like when Rewrite cries that I used as the inspiration for the sixth picture here. :D

Introducing Tryx the Tenrec, daughter of Phantom and Surge! She's an Extreme Gear racer, just like her parents, and she's really good. She's a bit rebellious, but in the way that she will do what she thinks is right, regardless of any rules or social norms. She gets into fights all the time and has been chased by the police more than once. Tryx inherited her parents' speed, but she likes to focus it into her reaction time and hand to hand combat attacks instead of her legs. To compensate, she's got hover boots that can get her moving at pretty high speeds! She enjoys electronic/Japanese music (because she's not beating the Miku allegations).

I saw @chacolachao was doing a call for redesigns of Betty Butterfly from Archie and thought it would be fun to join in! Since I've been working on my Fae Sonic AU recently, I thought it would be fun to do Betty as a fae and I really like how she turned out! I might even sneak her into the AU as a background character. Who knows? Anyway, yeah! :D

Here we goooo!!! This is Fae Sonic (once he gets turned into a child that is). If you're new here or just forgot, here's the original ask that got this idea started.

Now, we're changing a couple things, so let's get that out of the way first. Mostly, Sonic doesn't still have his current memories when he's turned into a kid. He has the memories of his child self. And also, he just straight up looks like a fae again instead of the changes being more subtle.

So now let's get into the new lore! Sonic was a little fae child who was captured by Eggman and experimented on. This experimentation lead to the repressing of his fae features and making him look much closer to a regular hedgehog. Eventually, he was able to escape and then ran into Tails. Normally in this kind of situation, the fae would ask for the other person's name, which would then result in the other person giving up ownership of their name by accident and the fae gaining control over them. However, Sonic's memory was pretty messed up and he ended up giving Tails his name when the little fox asked. This accidentally gave Tails control over Sonic, but Sonic didn't even realize since he was still recovering from what Eggman did to him.

(Also, Sonic's name wasn't Sonic at the time. It was something else and "Sonic" came about later as a nickname.)

So Sonic and Tails grew up together and became brothers. Sonic never left Tails' side because of the fae magic and neither of them ever questioned it at all. Then came Eggman's machine and Sonic got turned back into his child form. Restoring his childhood memories, Sonic pretty much immediately realizes he's been bound to someone and that his name is gone. This really scares him because he knows he never would have let this happen so he doesn't understand how this came about. It takes a while for Tails and the others to get answers out of Sonic but they eventually get the picture of how he's a fae. Tails vaguely remembers the day they met and asking for Sonic's name, but doesn't remember what the name actually was by this point. So even though Tails feels terrible and wants to give the name back, he can't.
