Apparently Egyptian but raised in Japan or something? Speaks perfect Japanese and Coptic but basically no Arabic. Speaks to Dr. Ishtar in a bizarre amalgam of the former two (Where did Dr. Ishtar learn Japanese?)

Must be some kind of expert because he knows literally everything about ancient Egypt in perfect detail, several details so specific it half feels like he has to have made it up, and is happy to talk about it at any time, sometimes seems to jokingly suggest he lived there.

Except he doesn’t exist on google. Surely a guy who’s done this much research has published a paper somewhere, right? Made some speeches? Listed as a contributor, or as a professor somewhere? But there is nothing. Not even a facebook profile. Man is an internet ghost.

In fact, he barely seems to know how computers work at all. One time someone showed him that you could play solitaire on one of the laptops and not only did he not know this already but was really excited about it.

Did I mention he’s like, 25, max? What? The intern is older.

1. Something that might surprise your moots about you: uhhhhh…. Despite almost never buying shit from the mall I fucking adore going to malls just to walk around and window shop (yes I get the same joy from shop lined streets)

3. Activity/Hobby you do: ahhhhhh— I feel like I shouldn’t count art and gaming since that’s. most of what I post about (outside of Yugioh). I don’t often do it since it takes some pre-planning, but I do enjoy photography! I have a camera that’s 25ish(?) years old that I take with me sometimes on walks! I don’t know much about how to become more technically competent but that’s never really the goal. It’s just kinda fun to play with found compositions and make myself look at and appreciate the world around me. And also I get a little dopamine rush off of getting a photo juuust right.

4. show/movie you’re currently watching: I’ve been back to finally watching the second half of OHSHC mostly as background noise. Also hopefully soon I’ll get to rewatch Adolescence of Utena with my sibling.

5. Book you’re reading: none at present though perhaps at some point I’ll pick up Trimax or BLAME!

6. Favorite dessert: mango coconut ice cream it’s so fucking good istg. And I’m a bitch who doesn’t like coconut.

2. Favorite drink/soda: there might be a few I'm forgetting to consider but I think I'll have to say lemonade ice tea (ye olde arnold palmer) + I don't like soda (don't like bubbles, they hurt my tongue lmao. plus carbonated drinks often taste bitter to me)

Activity/hobby you do: tbh I don't really do much besides writing, occasionally I'll try doing some art again (rn very slowly attempting to piece together a shitty little angsty Yami animatic lmao)... I loooove Jacob Geller, been watching Markiplier's Subnautica a lot, I love Ethoslab... etc

TV show/movie you're watching rn: not reeeaally watching anything unless you count occasionally rewatching an episode of YuGiOh (still need to finish the sub) but I did tell my roommate I'd finish watching this C-drama she showed me, Whispers of Fate (one of the main guys looks so much like Markiplier lmao he's also just extremely pleasant to look at) (the plot is neat too)

5. Book you're reading: YuGiOh omnibus 3 now!!!

6. Favorite dessert: aaa I do love pastries and things. one of those big soft chunky chocolate chip cookies with sea salt??? heavenly. Do cheese danishes count as a dessert? could kill for those. OH but I think my family heavily associates me with cheesecake (I get that instead of a regular birthday cake every year lmao)

1) Something that might surprise your moots about you: I can't open a brand new standard plastic water bottle on my own. The only way I can do it is by punching out all the little plastic connector bits with my fingernails. Literally somehow managed to injure myself when I tried opening the water that was given to me on Friday. 🤣 I think this is cause I have zero grip strength, though it might also be because of a low pain tolerance.

2) Favorite Drink/Soda: Probably lemonade! (I don't really like soda. Carbonation makes my throat burn.)

3) Activity/Hobby you do: Uhhh, honestly writing and drawing are my life. 😅 But outside of that, I like gaming! Currently playing Deltarune for the first time and I just finished Chapter 1.

4) TV Show/Movie you're watching rn: Currently watching Avatar: The Last Airbender with my boyfriend! (He hasn't seen it, I have.) The two of us are also watching Yugioh DM with a friend of ours! (He's only really seen some of Duelist Kingdom. We started in Season 0 and as of writing this, we're in Season 1, about to get to Mako Tsunami!)

5) Book you're reading: Yugioh Duelist manga! (I'm in Battle City right now and just finished the Strings duel.) I'm also listening to Project Hail Mary right now!
