you’ve talked about them a few times before but i’m curious on what made you like them or if you have any specific experience with the ship

I think its a ship that is just kind of very naturally gleaned from their stated relationship, two men creatively intertwined for years that both have an unhealthy relationship towards one another. William with his envy and obsession of Henry, Henry with his unwavering loyalty/brushing off William's actions time and time again. It's juicy drama and it makes Henry's final moments in FNaF 6 hurt that much more cus you just think about everything they could've had and could've *been*.

Also, it just gives a lot more weight to William finally taking the plunge and killing Charlotte because when the relationship goes *that* deep it makes an action like that mean so much more. It's honestly a reason I kinda hate the circumstances of her death in the FNaF 2 movie. Making Charlotte just another one of however many random kids William's *already* killing robs that murder of the significance it was at least implicitly intended to have in the games. In the games that was personal, that was a targeted attack from William against Henry that didn't even fit his later established MO. You can't get more deep rooted than that, so that begs the question of what was going on with them that drove things to that point? In the movie it's just "eh yknow he's just already been doing this for no reason in particular" rather than *anything* driving William to the original point of killing someone. "Oops, killed my business partner's daughter! Silly me"

Ironically, depending how much the FNaF 3 movie tries to course correct, we might actually get real Willry material out of it as compensation. But unfortunately it won't have the same teeth it could've had if it was just a *little* more faithful to the games' narrative structure. But also I don't trust anyone official to have the guts to do any gay rep, much less something as messy as Willry.

I'm probably getting off track, but that's my general thoughts on the ship. I really like how it informs the characters, especially when substantial character-related *anything* is so rare in FNaF. It'd be nice to at least see them have ONE CONVERSATION. IN ANYTHING. THEY'VE NEVER HAD A SINGLE DIALOGUE EXCHANGE. EVER. GOD.

If you made your Undeniably Canon AU into a TV show or movie or any other media with complete creative control handed to you and your team, what media form would you choose and what would the general plot be for each episode/part?

I'd make it a four part YouTube series where each part goes into the different eras of FNaF one by one to tell one "coherent" narrative in as unserious a fashion as you can think of

what was william afton (scraptrap) doing in his free time roaming utah? was he stalking henry maybe? in henry’s little board for planning on what to do for ffps, he has a photo of scraptrap behind a tree, unless he took that from elsewhere

I think the weirdest fans get with me is just in my comments sections... you can honestly just scroll the new trailer I just put out for part 4 and see what I'm talking about.

Timeline has always been more of a tiptoe around Dayshift than anything. DSaF was one of my favorite fangames back in the day, and I doubt I would've had nearly as much of an inkling to make timeline had it not existed, but I've always been pretty adamant about making sure I don't cross contaminate DSaF with UCFT because otherwise I'd just be stuck in an older parody's shadow forever.

Ferdinand is a weird case where I don't remember exactly what my thought process was when making him (Objective and True was over 5 years ago now...) My best guess is I thought the visual of the Real Fredbear was funny so I used it for my own spin (which Ferdinand is specifically a play on the whole Illusion Disc concept from the Silver Eyes trilogy)

One thing I DO distinctly remember from making An Objective & True FNaF Timeline is that I VERY nearly used the Wise Guy TTS voice for William just because Dave's voice is such popular shorthand for "funny purple guy". I decided against it cus it seemed funnier to me for William to actually sound like he does in the mainline games... I'm *very* glad I did that.

I have... a lot of complicated thoughts about this topic, honestly, but it's more of a spaghetti mess in my mind than something I can succinctly answer in a tumblr ask. I haven't played DSaF in years, either, so I don't know how much of its spirit I actually absorbed or if most comparisons to it and UCFT are superficial.

It doesn't really matter that much, but its looming presence feels a bit suffocating sometimes...

hello! I haven't gotten any substantial asks in a while so I'll indulge your barrage

1. Off the top of my head, the fullbody shot of Springtrap and Henry reacting to the fire always amuses me because of Springtrap's stupid expression. I also really like the Eleanor cat reveal from Part 3

2. I don't remember if I've taken lore suggestions from any comments on Undeniably Canon, but I *did* take one from the original Objective & True video, being that CC causing Mike to draw 4 as many times as he did would only be possible if he cheated. So in UCFT I made sure to mention that Gregory cheated at the game to paint him as even more of a menace.

3. I've already thought about this a fair bit for Supercut, so I won't say what I'd add. In terms of anything I'd remove, the only example I can think of is the "master of architectural design" shot of William in front of the weird Pizza World exterior in Part 1. It's not really a meaningful joke, I just made up a bizarre building and lampshaded that it looked bad with that visual gag. It's always bothered me a bit

4. Henry selling Lefty for $5000 when Mike can just buy her for $5. There is also something famously annoying about SB I directly made into a plot point in Part 4

5. I love all the Hurricane Screamer lore

6. Already am

7. Dark Springtrap's missing pants in Part 2 were gonna have a closeup panting of his bare endo pelvis. It did not really translate into a funny composition so we scrapped it.

8. Pretty much every shot I made for a certain sequence in Part 4 shocked me by how well I was making them. I went into it terrified the art quality wouldn't be up to snuff but it ended up being my best work for the timeline.

9. I pulled it from an OC I had made whose whole motivation for being a villain was that the protagonist owed him five dollars. I ended up pivoting that story where that character was no longer needed, so when I made timeline I figured it'd be funny to recycle that gag for William. The real kicker, though, is I ended up using that character again for an upcoming project, so people will think I recycled the joke from timeline... oops!
