I know good representation on TV has a long way to go, but can we just take a second to appreciate the fact that Oscar Martinez from The Office, which first starting airing almost two decades ago, was an openly gay person of color, and his main character trait had nothing to do with ‘being gay’ or ‘being Mexican’ but instead was simply being an annoying pretentious know-it-all
