I adore all things G/t (especially M/f, as someone who yearns to be very small) and I love exploring all aspects of my creativity through size! I usually have several different things going on at once, so here's a high level overview that I'll try to keep updated with what I'm working on 😊

Evie's life gets turned upside down when she takes part of a science experiment that she didn't realize meant getting shrunk down to three inches tall. Aiden, the scientist's assistant, realizes something is awry and comes to her aid, but is woefully underprepared to have a new tiny roommate. What follows is a slow burn slice-of-life tale as these two companions figure out their new life together.

I hope those of you who are also in the northern hemisphere are surviving the heat! I know I've continued to be quiet here, especially now that I've pulled back on S+P. I just wanted to give an update because I've been taking a big step back from my online life and felt the need to pop back in.

(CW health challenges)

Last month was full on crisis mode for me, but I'm now just coming out of it in a better place. To be a bit more transparent than usual - I've been having non-stop uncomfortable head symptoms since December, and after rounds of seeing doctors and testing and trying things and nothing working, they finally decided to do an MRI of the brain. I was then told at the beginning of June that there is likely something wrong - the paperwork literally called it a brain “disease” when ordering follow-up MRIs - but I wouldn't be able to see a neurologist to discuss these scans until beginning of July. I cannot describe how unbearably stressful the past month was. I've been in a pretty dark place if I'm being honest.

Cut to the neurology appointment…. and it turns out all of this seems to be a false alarm, she didn't think there was cause for concern from the scans. Fucking PHEW. I do have follow-ups to keep an eye on it, and I'm sure I'll be recovering from the stressful wait for a while yet (like I wish it could have been possible that a neurologist look over the scans right away and gave me a call saying that I'm probably fine, ahead of my appointment…. ah well). Plus, unfortunately this all means that I'm back to square one and have no idea what is causing these shitty symptoms. There are next steps, and I'm going to keep attempting to figure things out, as hopeless as it's starting to feel. But in the meantime, I'm going to try and utilize this relief that it's not as serious as I feared and hopefully energize myself to start pulling my life back together, best I can. I have a lot of catching up and self care to do! And I'm looking forward to no longer being in crisis mode. 😊

I'm not sure what this will mean creatively quite yet. I haven't altogether stopped drawing/writing - creative projects can sometimes be a good distraction after all. But I've also just been reevaluating a lot of stuff in my life, focusing on my IRL family and friends, rethinking my relationship with size and with the community. Just a lot of processing to do. But I certainly hope that this means I'll start feeling more inspired to create again!

In case you didn't see my status post, I'm going through some pretty major health stuff so I'm slowing down on comics. Hoping to still post S+P every month or so but it'll just depend on what I get done. Thanks!

Hey friends! Hope all is well. Haven't written a little update in a hot second, so just wanted to pop in 😊 

Life just continues to be ups and downs. The health issues have been persisting unfortunately, which has been hard. The upside is that we've reached our deductible this year already, and the doctors are at a place where they're wanting to do more intense tests, so I am hoping we are getting closer to figuring this out. I've also started therapy again as a result, I'm hopeful that will help with the mental health part at least.

I do feel quite behind on stuff as a result though! (For one, I've been awful about responding to comments lately, I'm so sorry about that and plan to have a big catch up session the moment I post this!) Creative projects have been pretty slow going in general, I’m in a bit of an art block. I think I might switch to monthly updates for Salt & Pepper instead of biweekly, at least for a while. I’ve almost run out of backlog and besides, as much as I adore these characters and have so many more plans for their story and origins, the series has been going on for quite a while now and maybe it would be good to slow down on it in favor of other projects. We’ll see!

The other reason I've been slower when it comes to drawing is that I've actually been getting more writing done lately! So that's exciting. I would like to continue to not promise anything, but I've made a rough schedule for myself and have been doing an okay job at keeping up with it. Maybe I'll have something to show for it before year's end~

Otherwise, I’d like to start posting one off little sketches again. They don't feel like much, but I do enjoy drawing them and they're relatively low effort. And I still have those 2 bigger projects that I did last year during my hiatus that I need to just gather up and share! I just need to organize myself and actually post more of the stuff that I make 😅
