Corner time is a very effective way to train her when she misbehaved. She has plenty of time to think about what she did wrong and how she will be better in the future. 

Not a fan of corner time

It wasn’t him she struggled against. She squirmed in his grip and her feet kicked as each hard swat fell on her bare flesh. She wasn’t wanting it to stop, it wasn’t too much, it was what she needed. She struggled in herself. She struggled to let go, she struggled to let the tears come, to relax, to surrender to the sensations. When the tears came there was peace. Everything drained away. The stress of the week and the guilt for her behaviour. She let everything go melting away in the heat of his hand, in the gentle words as he held her.

Ohhhh how I can relate to this!
