Ykw yeah. Yeah atp i *am* mad abt both SP and Octocon shutting down and Ampersand going on hiatus/considering shutting down. ESPECIALLY Octocon. When it was *just* simply plural, like, i understood why people were mad, but at least the creator was keeping the servers running for as long as possible and shit. Do i think there are other, better ways it couldve be handled? Yeah. Do i understand why the creator took the route they did? Yeah! I could deal with it

But octocon, OCTOCON. The app that was explicitly said by the SP creator as a good alternative, that ADVERTISED ITSELF AS A GOOD ALTERNATIVE, SHUTTING DOWN. WITH A 2 WEEKS FUCKING NOTICE. AFTER THEY SAID "we dont have any plans to shut down the project". WHAT THE HELL.

People have already went through losing a very accessible and good disability aid with SP being discontinued. And now Octocons fucking leaving us high and dry?! Look. I understand having mental health issues. I understand that the octocon dev has been under a lot of stress since the SP shutdown. But just shutting down a popular disability aid which was ADVERTISED AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO ANOTHER POPULAR, DISCONTINUED DISABILTY AID, is SO FUCKING CALLOUS. You could have just gone on hiatus! Hired someone else to handle it! anything BUT SHUTTING IT DOWN. OH MY LLLORD. I dont wanna say its stupid but its STUPID. AND SO FUCKING CALLOUS. And its breaking a promise, on top of disappointing thousands of people, pulling the rug out from under them, and taking away a disability aid. You can take care of yourself without doing shit like this. Im pissed tf off.

Along with that, Ampersand going on hiatus/possibly shutting down makes this issue compound. It feels like the plural and CDD communities are just getting basically left in house with like. 3 ingredients and no cooking knowledge and being told "have fun!!" While the people leaving take the rest of the food with them.

Hi everyone!! So I stumbled across a new system tracking project called Ourcana and I wanted to share as I think it’s really really cool! And I love what they’ve done with it so far.

The project is still in its early phases but what they’ve managed to pull off in less than a week is phenomenal!!
