I have come to realize that there is this gross ideology that being alone, or spending time by yourself is “brave” for a single women.

Get the fuck outta here.

I am one of the coolest people I know. So why wouldn’t I want to spend some quality time with myself? Take myself out to eat, see a movie. Literally the cheapest date ever!

Recently I went to a restaurant, a table for one, when a group of friends (a “squad” of seven) came in after me. They were talking and laughing together then it got suspiciously quiet. When I looked up to their table, all of them were on their phones not talking to each other. This “rather normal” occurrence happened three more times and lasted a good five minutes each time.

So, really, is there a difference?
