Je ne regrette rien

It was a little confusing as to where this sudden sense of modesty was coming from. Before, she seemed so sure of herself. So flirtatious. Was she regretting the night before? Did she think that he was just going to kick her out, and never speak to her again. To be honest, more often than not, he rarely kept in contact with the people he had one night stands with. They were never interesting enough, or they simply just left to brag about it. But Cynthia was different...he enjoyed her company very much. 

“No, wait!” he called out, perhaps a little more desperate sounding than he meant to, which made him curse at himself under his breath, but there was no taking it back now. He managed to get in front of her, no doubt surprising (or even scaring) the poor woman. There was an awkward pause, making Lysandre clear his throat before he spoke up again.

“Especially in a place like this. It’s not likely you’re going to find any threats to them here. That’s probably why they flourish.”

It seemed more and more little fairies started crowding around him. He didn’t particularly mind, they meant no harm. It was just a hassle for him to shoo them away when he left. Even then, one or two still managed to hitch a ride until they got back to town. At least they weren’t Weedils. 

But that was enough about pokemon, he needed to do some catching up with his closest friend.
