Sorry to bother, I recently fell into the hole that is Expedition 33. I've tried to look into the files of the game (mostly to get the 3D models). The thing is that I have no experience AT ALL.

I don't know which software to use to decompile it, and I can't find any tutorial and or advice anywhere. I'm scared to do the wrong thing and totally break my game.

I was wondering, if you were willing to share your method ?
