Your personal regret is obviously one thing, "I wish someone had stopped me" is a common excuse espoused by people who feel present day shame or regret. But one's own regret doesn't give them the authority to attempt wrestling the entire legal apparatus to bend society towards stopping other people from attaining those same body alterations, just because you wish you'd had more barriers to run into to stop you from getting what you thought you wanted
