Tonight I wailed, I wailed for the child within me, within my soul. I'm an emotional one and I'll be honest, this year has been rough, but who hasn't it been for? I wasn't able to log in for a while, and only tonight by chance logged in before the end. Never did I expect to loose two beloved childhood things in a span of a week. On the 25th my childhood cat died, and now my beloved goat game has died. I'll be honest, I was never caught up un the goings of the game. I had fun, I enjoyed it, it was my reason to hold onto hope in October. This year I failed and didn't do every event, and thought it'll be okay, there's next year. Oh how wrong I was, I didn't realize this year would be the last. Goatlings is the reason I got into sewing, I had learned years ago, but made a plushie for my first monster Masquerade. The pumpkin head was so heavy, but it held somehow. That is until it was destroyed by a pet. I'm a cosplayer now amd still a digital artist. It's my passion, my joy. But yet I never let go of goatlings, I dreamed of the day I would submit something and it might win. But that's not the true reason I played. I enjoyed the games, the members, the goats, the making of avatars. I loved the little stories and all I could make. How I'm going to miss all of my goats, so so very much. The npcs as well and the silly battles. But most of all, I'll miss you Violet. My darling necromancer goat, you were one of my first and always my main. You may not have been rare, just a regular shop skin. But you were my everything, I'll miss all my beloved goats, but I think I'll miss you most of all. I know it's silly to get emotional over a goat game, but I'm not sorry I am. For even if it's just pixels, it was there for so many. Goodnight goatlings and far well. Perhaps we'll meet again someday, or fade away like the stars above.
