Volunteer work, always a think Levi never thought he'd do, but now? he just wanted to help some rescues he found, some strays, they didnt get alone with Sol or Capri, so Levi decided to take them to Fantasy Fields, and found himself in some paid volunteer work, does that still found as volunteering if he was being paid? it was just a week. He found himself working out in the plains zone, dodging big drakes and watching out for small bitties, bringing out food for them all, and damn the boxes were heavy, but they were emptied fast with all of the bitties grabbing snacks and their lunches.

It was about 5pm when it happened, he heard footsteps, big and heavy, running, then the next thing he knew is he was hit by something big and tossed to the ground, and something heavy rolling off him, he finally got a chance to look back and see a massive Racer bitty on the ground with him.

"Oh my god- im so sorry-" He got up and took a step towards Levi, "Here- let me help-" he lowered his head so Levi could use him to help himself up, but he got up on his own, "Uh- thanks but are you ok??" "are you ok?? i trampled you!" "you ran into me, which wasnt fun but yeah im fine- you want lunch?" "oh! Yeah! i would!" the dragon type grinned "Uh, i go by Ace by the way- you are?" "Levi, and the food is over there," Levi explained as we walked back towards the crates of food, "Thanks!" Ace walked over and stuck his head in one of the crates with raw meat in it, and grabbed a piece to chew on, "youm gotma resmom to be here?" Ace said with his mouth full before swallowed, "Uh, yeah im volunteering for the week," "nice! i can introduce you and my racing buddies if you want!" "Sure, i have to take these crates back in when they're empty though so i have to keep an eye on em," "thats ok! i can help you! I might forget though-" "Eh i might too honestly,"

as the week went on, Ace and Levi talked pretty much every day, and became good friends, but near the end of the week when Levi had to say goodbye, but instead while at home he was working on building, and connected a barn to the house, the ceilings were already tall af to let Sol roam and to give plenty of room for other bitties and the bitty highway that went around to let bitties get wherever they wanted to go, so before he left on the last day, he surprised Ace by adopting him! It was a bit of a pain getting him home but it was mainly teleporting, it was just a lot of bitty to teleport with, but it went fine and Ace got to run around in the snow and got plenty of things to play with.

"You're jokin" Sol scoffed, Levi drug him out to a random au to a random bitty center, "Im not! I did a matchup over the phone and im gonna meet some Twisters!" Levi retorted.

It was an average Tuesday, a little overcast, Levi and Sol always liked it that way, they both were photosensitive, so a sunny day kinda just sucked. "Its right up here, dont worry" "Its in the middle of nowhere" Sol droned, he wasnt wrong, it was down a dirt road, and Levi was slowing down, "Geez, i shouldve gotten a drive.." He huffs, finally reaching a bench where he sits down for a sec.

He groaned, "I hate this", "you need a damn wheelchair" Sol huffs, "I dont need it, besides, my insurance doesn't cover it" "Dude, go to an au where you can get one!" Sol fumed, Levi had many issues, from connective tissue disorders to dealing with side effects from his psych meds, he needed some damn help.

"Its fine, im fine, ill be fine- later-" "I swear im going to get you mobility service bitty" "Well seeing as im looking at fullsized Twisters maybe i can at least get a hand around at home," "Do we even have enough room for one?" "I asked about ones that didnt mind hanging around before we moved- and its a decent sized apartment and all i have to do is finish the inner walls and putting the doors in- well, the ones that arent the ones that go outside-" "Whatever, thats like, a week away, maybe they'll help" "well seeing as theyre lamias i dont think being in a snowbed is a good idea-" "Oh my god the second bitty you're bringing home is a LAMIA? Your pocket dimention is nothing but SNOW dude" "I know i know-" Levi huffed, getting up and walking the rest of the way to the entrance, "we'll see how they feel about it and i know how to use fire magic, and i treated the wood so its fireproof, we'll be fine,"

As Levi opened the door, the smell of warm cookies wafted at them, "Looks like the Puffs were baking" he chuckled, "Think they'll let us split a cookie?" "Split one?" "Hey im small and you need to check your blood sugar mister 'feels sick from sugar'!" "Hey! thats either the adhd or thats because its too rich- its mostly chocolate"

The pair kept on with their 'spat' as Levi walked over to find the owner, "Oh hello! You're a bit early!" Selkie chuckled, "Hey, on times late" Levi did a weird peace sign, "Are the Twisters ready?" "Oh yes! They're over there with Ben!" Levi turned, there were big Twisters and Ben, Selkie's fullsized King bitty, "Ah, thanks ma'am," He nods at Selkie before trudging off towards the large snake like bitties.

"Heya" Levi didnt get anything else out before he was greeted, 'hello's, 'hi's, and a 'howdy' was said, the five Twisters sat around, and Ben slithered off to let them chat, and to let Levi take his beanbag, so the man held Sol and plopped down, "Hai, im Levi, this is Sol, and i think yall know whats up?" "Lookin for a Twister that dont mind goin someplace cold for a bit?" "Yes and no- i just have to put the doors in and then its fine, i already used magic to give it pluming and electricity" Sol got comfy in Levi's lap while he explained, "You must be pretty good at magic" One of the Twisters whistled, "Sounds cool, best kinda upkeep is no upkeep right?" another chuckled, "Ah i just have over-active magic so i had to learn how to use it before it hurt me" he laughed, "But i have an ok sized house for now, and ill expand it later, when i get more bitties, but i already have an extra few rooms and i made a heatroom for if yall get cold! Well, whoever wants to go with me"

It was nearly an hour, and it was just Levi and one other twister left, and Sol of course, but he was napping so he didnt have much to say, "Well- itd been a minute and i dont think anyone else is comin back," "Looks like im the one then" the bitty winked, "I guess you are! Ya got a name?" "Yes and no, they call me Capri, like, the drink," "My guess was the star sign" "Ha! nah its a pun because its my fav drink" "Nice! And if you dont mind you can keep it," "Sure! I already call to it!" "then let me do all the paperwork shit, and we can go back to the apartment," "I thought it was the snowy place?" "I need like at least a day if not more to put up the doors, at least our bedroom doors and the bathroom," "Ah ight, bet"

A little over a month passed, Capri was part of the family, and him and Sol gave each other breaks with watching Levi, and Capri was working on being a certified service bitty online, though that was more for the classes on his part, since he wanted to be able to help more.

It was a quiet day in the house, Levi was just trying to play minecraft after a shitty day at school, he was schooled online but the teachers were mean and he wasnt allowed to talk to the other kids, so he was just alone, dealing with isolation from anyone but his mother, but right now his mom went out to do something, she said it was a surprise, Levi didnt particularly care, his mother was transphobic and didnt like that he decided to put his foot down, but they get alone enough to live together.

He was in the kitchen making food, using his magic to do it without bothering to lift a hand, he decided to make dinner since he wanted to make some monkey bread, so why not bake a meatloaf with it? It was easy enough.

His mom walked in, calling his deadname, so he didnt react, but she must have smelled the food that was already done so she walked into the kitchen.

"Hey ma, what do you have?" She had her hands around a blanket, hiding whatever she had, and whatever it was was moving "Your surprise! I thought you'd like a friend" He tilts his head, using his magic to check what was in there, it didnt give him much of an idea, say for the soul was a monster? "What?" "Close your eyes!" "uh, ok?" He closes his eyes, holding his arms out, he felt something weird, boney? but it had paws, a cat? "You can open them!"

Levi buffered, looking at a Neko Papyrus type bitty, "Uh, sup?" He said, he had a service bitty vest on, "You're- a service bitty?" He changed his hold so it wasnt so awkward, then the bitty got onto his shoulder. "Indeed", he chuckles, "I figured you'd like him, and hes trained for anxiety, depression, and ptsd!" His mom beamed "Thank you ma- uh, do you got a name bud?" "Nope, thats usually an owners job" "well i want you to decide" "well, lets talk first" "ight, let me get us plates,"

A few hours later, it was late, but Levi didnt have a bed time so fuck it ya know? He had a spare controller and the bitty may have been on the smaller side but 2 feet was enough to play minecraft with Levi, "So, i can look up a list of names," "could, i had one i like though" "well i say you can use it," "Solomon, or Sol" "I like that, and if you like it that matters more"

weeks went by, and Levi and Sol were inseparable, and Levi slowly became more dependent on Sol for company than his mother, and started going places on his own, well, with Sol, and he even got a job, he was 18 and never had a job, held back in school, but he went to a normal school, he wasnt popular, he wasnt really 'liked', in a sense of he mostly kept to himself, he was 3 years older than everyone else in his grade, but Sol helped, well, he helped him cheat, but since he was so behind they kind of just let it pass, and with the subjects Levi liked and was good at he managed to skip to his level and graduate by 20, it was a mess, but it happened and they made it through.

Sol taught Levi more about magic, and Levi got good at teleporting, so he didnt have to deal with cars, and he didnt want to anyways, he couldnt see well enough for that shit, but as time went on, Levi got his own apartment, and made a pocket dimention, it was snowed over and cold, but he liked it, all he had to do was fight the snow and build a place to live, Sol helped with what he could, helping organize things, but for awhile it was just a shack with tools and materials, but plans were made and preparations were underway.

To house a bitty you need a place for them sleep! Usually a bitty sized bed, a bedbox, a hide, their own room, or ive also seen people set up a toddler bed or cages like big rat cages and stuff! You need to make sure they have enough space too, larger bitties do need a room to themselves lol

To feed a bitty you have to know what they eat! Do they need meat? veggies? fruit? nectar? anything else? ALWAYS research your bitty type you've adopted! OR take them to a bittinarian! Or both! Both is a good idea, and there are some programs that will help you pay for bittinarian visits if the bitty has something chronic or deadly!

Backstory: Shes your average Eclipse bitty, but shes been bounced around from home to home due to 'too many mistakes', it got her down but she still tries to be optimistic!

Levi met her at a Quiet Hopes while bringing Jara in to find other bitties to share her room with!(though not her house lol)

Feeding info: She mainly eats fish, usually sushi honestly, but shell eat pretty much anything Levi can

He's kind of a nurse, usually helping care for the smaller bitties when they get sick

He was left handed, and is a bit clumsy with his right one, but he tries his best!

has a very good intuition and can pick up on bad vibes from a first meeting! Usually suses out new bitties and helping Levi figure out who they'd get along with and who to separate them from-

Additional info: Light sky blue fur with trypan blue markings on the top of his head with a triangle marking down to the tip of his nose between his nostrils(giving a somewhat cat nose look), down his back to the top of his tail, as well as extremities, the trypan blue markings have a glittery look

Backstory: His old owner was heavily abusive, owning many bitties just to torment and torture them, and was rescued by an underground rescue ring,

Feeding info: He mainly eats veggies, and loves carrots! but uses them as snacks or treats more so from how much sugar and starch are in them

Info: She is a rough and traumatized bitty, though she hates talking about her past she has opened up to Levi little by little over time,

She hates other horrortale bitties but as long as they arent in her room she'll deal with sharing a house with them

She is very particular about who she talks to, and rarely comes out for anything other than food,

She's poly and a lesbian, though she is a bit closed off with romantic connections for the most part, she's very guarded and untrusting

Additional info: Midnight blue in color with scarlet red hair, she has a full head of 4b hair,

Backstory: She was a stray, fighting for her survival on her own for 8 years when Levi found her being attacked by a cat, he saved her and she says shes in debt to him till she saves his life, though she has gotten comfortable in the house and doesnt mind relaxing and being taken care of now, though she has her own room and decides who gets to stay in there with her!

She doesnt really talk about her past a lot,

Feeding info: she mostly eats raw meat, but also likes sweets and candy.

Hobbies: Watching tv, people watching, writing, journaling, reading, and listening to podcasts.

he used to have a calcium deficiency and his joints are all cracked, mainly in his hands and wrists from being strained, but his face and parts of his spine arent nearly as bad,

Backstory: He was an 'express adoption', he was adopted before he was picked up since Levi found out Capri knew him!!
