Life doesn’t give you things instantly. But by the time it gives, you would’ve learnt to live without it.

As scientists and researchers made advancements in the aspects of measurements and observations,they found that Newtonian Mechanics was slightly misleading in some occasions (for instance, the change in Mercury's orbit around the sun).And moreover, Newtonian Mechanics could not explain the reason for things like the constant speed of light.It stated that the space and time are absolute which could not explain Michelson-Morley experiment.(Michelson-Morley experiment calculated the velocity of light which remained constant irrespective of observer's motion)

These confusions and chaos in in the science community ended when a Albert Einstein published his paper on Special Relativity.I t stated that space and time are not absolute .This courageous discovery explained the reason for light's velocity.

Special theory of Relativity states that nothing can travel faster than light.But some had the opinion that if sun vanishes (hypothetical),the earth would run away from its orbit instantaneously.But this fact was against Special Relativity since light takes 8 minutes 20 seconds to reach earth and nothing can travel faster than light.So gravity could not vanish immediately when the sun vanishes.This resulted in Einstein to publish his General theory of Relativity.

General theory of Relativity gave birth to the concept of gravitational waves and stated that gravity will not vanish immediately.

Also Einstein defined gravity which was considered as an innate quality in the earlier days.H e defined gravity as the curvature of space-time.He introduced the concept of four dimension which we cannot visualise easily.

Einstein did not end up here.He also discovered photoelectric effect and stated that light has a dual nature of particle and wave.This concept revolutionised Particle physics .Eventually, de Broglie hypothesised matter waves which gave birth to Quantum Mechanics.

Einstein worked on the unified field theory for the rest of his life.He also coined 'the cosmological constant' which is closely associated with dark matter.
