so with this event of explosives-carrying duty in flondon, firven just succeeded at a 20% Artisan of the Red Science check with no levels in the skill, and has previously also succeeded at a 50% AotRS check in a storyline...
now a 1 out of 10 to land both of those is not extraordinarily lucky, but i do think it'd be fun to say there's Some Reason for firven to be the slightest bit decent at the eldritch magic skill lol
he probably learned something from the one time he used it in Light Fingers........

one level takes one action, and each action raises a decent chunk of suspicion. however ☝️ if you never leave a storylet you never incur a penalty for hitting 8 suspicion. since i can't go back to the repeat dentistry storylet once ive left, i can't lower my suspicion by any means. this dooms me to raising it without limit for as long as this grind lasts. at this point ive embraced suspicionmaxxing as a two-in-one vanity grind to go alongside dentistmaxxing.

hello fallen london fandom i have a squid girl. her name is sepia and she wants to kill the sun. shes also doing nemesis and her account is maybe two days old. she is very cute.
occasionally i wonder how the logistics of how being a Licentiate in flondon works.. like. the list, for one. how does one get a name to show up on the list? other players can write in to a Licentiate player to give them someone to kill, though this is stated to be done by letter rather than the list of aliases itself.. so i wonder how the names get put on the list...
also i made another post about this forever ago but!! there's a specific job in "the business of a Licentiate" portion that is literally just. you getting to fake your own death, which is cool and all, but you still receive money for it... how is that working.....
and also is there anything that stops you from crossing off whatever names you like, regardless of whether they were actually finished or not? i suppose just the fact of checking the person is still alive, but i do think it'd be kinda funny for a licentiate to cross out their own name right when they see it just to prevent others from seeing it (are they all connected? does one licentiate crossing out a name cross it out for everyone? i'd presume so but.)
i'm thinking way too hard about this and maybe i missed/forgot some stuff lol
