here's my thought process for these choices:

Cam's obviously a healer, but Apollo is also the god of music, dance, and poetry, which matches with Cam's musical endeavors. Apollo's also the god of the sun, and I'd consider Cam a bright light in the Red Kingdom.

Shan's is pretty easy. Poseidon, god of the sea as well as powerful storms, perfectly matches both her magical abilities and the events of her past.

Sausage is a follower of Lady Death, so I put him with Thanatos, God of Death. I can also see an argument for Hades, God of the Dead, considering his necromantic abilities. but since Sausage already has a divine power that he worships, I wanted to get as close to that as possible.

Scott I put with Persephone, goddess of spring, to go with his love of flowers and magical abilities related to light. I also think it's fitting to match him with a goddess who was taken from her home and had to adapt to an entirely new domain with new expectations, much like Scott himself.

Kitty is connected to magic through his very creation, but that's not the only reason I put them with Hecate. not only is Hecate considered the goddess of crossroads (like Kitty's choice between Red and Blue), but she's usually also depicted as a goddess of night, which is a domain that Kitty's very comfortable in as a rogue. Hecate also kept a black cat as a familiar, from what I've read.

Frogue and Hermes are pretty easy to connect, since Hermes is a god of travelers (and Frogue is a long ways from home). he's also a patron of thieves and gamblers, which makes a lot of sense for a rogue and the owner of the Farkhall.

Owain could have been the champion of a lot of gods, but I went with Helios, god of sight, the sun, and guardian of oaths. a sun god makes sense for knight in radiant golden armor... and I was also keeping in mind the champion of Selene as his counterpart.

Graecie as Athena's champion was the easiest choice for me. a goddess of warfare, but also a goddess of wisdom, skill, and strategy, and notably, a mentor of heroes.

Mae as Artemis's champion was another no-brainer for me. not only as the goddess of the hunt and of the moon, but especially as a protector of children, women, and animals. it's a perfect fit for Mae and her unending kindness throughout Bannerfall.

Katie was admittedly a bit of a struggle for me at first, but Hebe just feels right. she's a goddess of youth, and Katie absolute radiates vitality, being consistently bright and full of energy. but Hebe's also a goddess of forgiveness, something that Katie learned to be very good at, both towards others, and to herself.

4c was the hardest decision for me, but Elpis is who I landed on. she's the spirit of hope, and 4c is the rogue who always perseveres, who always 'bounces back'... it just made too much sense.

Apo as the champion of Selene... I mean, come on, it's a match made in heaven for a Moon Knight. I also liked the contrast it gave her with the champion of Helios.

Nom could be the champion of many gods, but I had to go with Tyche, goddess of chance, luck, and fortune... perfect for the guy with the Irish luck who is always down for a game of Farkle. he's constantly considering taking big risks, and though his biggest gamble (with the Creaking King) didn't pay off, he still won the greatest prize: his family and friends, at his side until the end.

Bek as a champion of Nike is twofold. not only is she an incredibly accomplished knight, perfect for a goddess of victory, but Nike also drives a chariot... and, well, we know how much Ser Bek loves horses.

Cherri and Hestia are an obvious pairing for many reasons, considering that Hestia's the goddess of the hearth, but it's not just the fire magic I like here. Hestia is also the goddess of home and family, both which are very important to Cherri.
