He looked down at the door out of the window for a moment, before swiftly shutting the drawer and calling to his mom that he’d get the door for her. Quickly, he grabbed the Death note and stuffed it into the back of his pants, covering it with his shirt. After pausing for a moment to catch his breath, Light sighed and hurried to the front door of the house, before opening it calmly and facing the people outside. “… Can I help you?” he asked, trying to sound casual, “my mom isn’t here right now.”

Outside his door stood three people. Two men in lab coats, and one person in a strange SWAT like uniform with a different symbol on it's chest that, upon further studying of the scientists' coats, was the same as theirs. One of the scientists stood out in particular, with age showing just barely on his tired face.

His sleepy looking violet eyes that were behind large glasses stared down at the boy with such a gentle kindness to them, perfectly complimented by a small smile that was on his face. His hair was peppered light grey and black, confirming that he was an elderly man, though there was no sign of hair loss. In fact his hair was all bunched in a pony tail with a large swoop around the front, giving it what some would call an Ariel style. There was not only hair on his head, but a small goatee that just under his lower lip. He was skinny, almost scrawny looking, but he was a good 6'4", standing just barely above the other two that stood beside him.

"... Hello." He spoke kindly in a polite manner, the smile not wearing away in the slightest. He turned to the suited man to his left and waved his hand, dismissing him and letting him return to a truck. When the man left, he turned to the other and nodded, dismissing him too.

"Sorry if that would intimidate you in any manner. We mean no danger in the slightest; however, there is something we are looking for that is.. dangerous." He spoke in a relaxed manner, trying not to alarm the boy in front of him.

"......." Light stared at him for a moment, staring up at the newcomer. "There's only me here," he replied stubbornly, trying to just seem like a normal teenager, honest and innocent to an extent, "Nothing has come in or out of the house since I got home hours ago." These people definitely didn't look like the police. Therefore, he didn't trust them, despite the speaker's kind looking face and demeanour. He probably thought Light was just a dumb teenager who he could trick to let him in.

"Mom says I'm not supposed to let strangers into the house, whatever they say. There's nothing here."

Juju didn’t seem to mind anything, she did noticed a few bones near one of the trees but she didn’t mind it at all. She stopped once she saw a small gravestone. ‘RIP Skye Colton’ was written on the stone, she got used to passing through this little gravestone and remembering a bit of her ‘younger' sister that she never did met. Staring down at it for a moment, she mumbled 'Sleep well, Skye..' silently before continuing to walk.
