Time for Operation: Sneak into her father’s cell!
With none of the other adults in sight, Eurydice made her way down the hall. After a few more turns, the child stopped in front of her father’s cell.
Albeit greatly struggling, she successfully managed to sneak her way inside! Good for her. Running up to Orpheus, she gave him a hug.
Orpheus suddenly drops his book at the sound of her, quickly catching Eurydice in his arms for a hug.
(╭O ◡^)! < " Oh my goodness. My darling daughter, my little clever Angel! How did you get in here?"
He spun her around happily, dismissing the black void growing behind them by on the walls.
“ Oh the world is returning! I missed you so much! “
"Hehe, I snuck my way in! It wasn’t hard to figure out where you were! I know stealing is wrong but.. taking the keys were the only way I could get in here!"
She let out a laugh as she was spun around, oh now nice it felt to be in her father’s arms again.
"I missed you too, Father! I’ve kept looking for chances to see you.. but the others kept telling me that it was too dangerous.."
" Its not hard to cast the truth out, Eurydice... But they're afraid, they'll do anything to seperate us- not because we're dangerous, but because we know the truth! "
He softly sets Eurydice down.
" Your mother... They called her that too. Don't listen to them. "
Being sat down, Eurydice tilted her head to the side.
"They’re separating us because we know the truth? Did they.. did they truly call mother dangerous too? Mm.. well what they think shouldn’t matter, right? As long as we have each other!"
Orpheus heart ached at Eurydice's optimistic response. He gave a small laugh, nodding to her words.
" Yes, my dear! As long as we have eachother, what they think doesn't matter. You will always be my daughter, and I will always be there with you. "
He reached out and took her hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. Leading Eurydice to the cell's door, he makes sure its clear before showing her out.
" But when we have love, the doctors believe that is the most dangerous thing of all. They want to ravage on what is left. I don't want them to take away yours. "
Although reluctant to go, Eurydice knew she had to leave before she was caught. Giving Orpheus one more hug, she stepped through the open door.
"Oh, father.. I won’t let them take it away! I won’t! I’ll be back father, I swear! I love you!"
With a smile, she disappeared into the darkness, heading back to her room.
