It was this image, taken during my holiday to Mozambique, that captured the essence of architecture. Drawn to the decay of the surroundings, I began taking pictures of the homes. As I was about to leave, the young girl approached and asked why I only took pictures of buildings and not of any people. I replied that I was very interested in how a building is a form of art in architecture, to which she replied, but I am also art, does that also make me architecture?

As a 3rd year architecture student that is curious and unhindered in the search for my place in this field, I believe that there is a fine line between influence and intimidation, but the artistry of process should reign supreme.
