skin splits and stiches 

blood and green 

bandages and sorrow 

red 

you aren't damaged like him 

he broke you 

you destroyed him 

bones 

they don't see the same

he is damaged like you 

yet neither understand

Silence is the most dangerous thing 

somehow we blew apart into nothing 

from nothing

its so loud in here, in this empty room 

how could the world shake for so long? 

the mind be lost for this kind of time?

the atoms of my body beg to be released 

As easily as the wind carries leaves 

As forceful as the tide on a stormy night 

As bright as the sun 

The causeway stands between us 

and the ocean between it 

connected through the smallest square and our addictions 

You presume to be different 

but we are the same 

destined to crash and burn 

and only we can decide to rise from the ashes
