An interesting encounter
Adi didnât paid attention to the other Zigotonâs for now, her blue hue weâre focused on the general himself as he slowly started to approach her, while she kept holding her staff down, the goddess didnât move at all from her spot, which it was right behind the foliage that separated her from the heavily decorated Zigoton.
Judging how the males stance weâre and from the other soldiers, the female realized that they werenât going to attack her, and despite having the thoughts that she should stay put and be on guardâŚthere was just something about the general himself that made the Goddess trust him, and more since she saw how his gaze softened and tried to be cautious with her, even while he was speaking towards her.
âYou mean of the Karmens?â She asks, OhâŚif only Gong knew, Adi received a welcoming ambush from them as she arrived at the unknown lands, and watched how they treated her people, sadlyâŚshe ended up heavily injured by them and caused her to crash down as soon as they arrived at a ruined Patapolis, but wellâŚshe was lucky that thanks to so, she got to meet the patapon-her peopleâŚfor the very first time.
âTheyâŚattacked us as soon as they saw us.â She replied to him, hoping that they weâre the people that he was asking about. â⌠Did you met them as well?â She questions, judging by his words, most probably he as well had encountered the certain tribe too, after allâŚthe Karmens weâre everywhere, and they looked rather Hostile and protective of there lands and territoriesâŚIf the other indeed had encountered them, the goddess just hoped that him and his people didnât had the same problems as them.
The Zigoton general kept his weapon at his side, too far as to quickly swing at the Patapon in front of him. His stare was persistent, yet had authority and calm to it. It didnât speak anger, like it had once used to... Soon enough Gong stopped himself before the foliage, having reduced the distance between them greatly.Â
â... How many were lost?â He asked, his tone low and gruff. It almost felt like he worried about them. Or perhaps he just pitied them. âThe Karmen are extremely hostile. Theyâve attacked our scouts as well. Some of them didnât come back and by that theyâve made themselves an enemy.â Gongâs voice almost ramped up into a growl, though he stopped and took a deep breath, likely to calm his spirits.Â
Gong briefly looked back at the Zigotons nearby that also seemed to approach, a little cautiously as they didnât seem to know if they were supposed to, but as soon as Gong held out a hand they stopped. His attention then drifted back to her. âKnow that weâre on your side, Adi. We have no reason to harm you now that the prophecy was proven false. But that doesnât mean Iâll let you get off easy. First I must test you.â

Hearing the news of the certain zigoton coming back, the almighty coudn't resist than to check if such rumors we're true, and it was so! Upon seeing that familiar helmet of his, Adi flew up to him to greet them. "Why, hello there Lord Gong! it's good to see your back." She said as she landed softly onto the ground.
The Zigoton general paused as he felt a small gust of wind nearby, finding that a familiar figure had made her way up to him. âAh, benevolent PataponâŚâ he greeted her respectfully, âYou seem cheerful today. Forgive my absence. I had been quite busy. Iâm sure that you understandâŚâ
âOh yes!â Adi nodded at the other cheerfully, mostly glad to see the other doing well despite his sudden absence, also even if she tried her best to be respectful towards the other, she couldnât resist than to crack a smile.
âOh, itâs alright Lord GongâŚthere is no need to apologize for it, i understand if you had to do some business somewhere far away, but admittedlyâŚi was growing a bit concerned, i thought that something mightâve happened to you while doing so.â She explained as she waved her hand nonchalantly. âAh butâŚi hope that youâve been faring well these days.â
Gong couldnât help but smile. While he still couldnât help but keep at least some prejudice against the Patapons, Adiâs purity and positive spirit easily won him over. It was hard to be in a bad mood with such a friendly face smiling back at you.Â
âForgive me, Adi.â He spoke, lightly tapping his scythe against the ground and glancing off to the side with a huff. âI have been busy since Queen Kharma has resigned. We still havenât found where she might be.â
