still insists he sees the ghosts.

 listening to her husband, audra then nodded lightly and gave him a smile. all that mattered to her right now was that he would be safe, and that this monster was never going to come back again. He had been through so much already as a child, it was enough now. And who knew maybe now that it was dead, bill would be thinking about having a family with Audra. Because deep down something told her that he wouldn’t want a family because of IT coming back anytime. “Good, I am sorry that you all had to lose people because of IT, but now things will get better. It will be all good now and we can all continue our lives. Maybe even start a family now that you don’t have to think about It coming back.” she said and smiled lightly at him. Audra had never really mentioned the topic in their marriage but she did want kids someday. And after all they would only get older and not younger. “That sounds good to me, I missed you Bill, I am glad you are back now and we can be together.” she said and smiled before then listening to her husband again. “I get it yes, but if death was what it would have taken to safe you and other people, I would died.. But let us not talk about it anymore okay, because all of this is over now and we can look on the bright side.” Audra said giving him a smile again before she nodded. “I won’t don’t worry Bill, I am not going to get hurt or talk to any weird people.”

              bill FELT like they could finally be happy , away from everything that had ever happened. it was for this that he had fought for - when he had believed they would never make it against it - he had held on to the hope of seeing  A U D R A again, of getting back to the life he had built with her.. of getting back to being just bill denbrough, not some kid who was testing his luck at fighting an evil monster all over again.  after all, it wasn’t very often that one could repeat what they done at thirteen years old.   ❞i hope it’s gone, i do but.. i can’t help but feel like that we were brought here for a reason. me and my friends, i.. what if it’s planning a come back? a revenge, against what we did to it? maybe.. maybe we’re not safe. i don’t know.  ❞    he paused for a moment, nodding at her.   ❞is that really what you want? to have a family.. with me, out of all people? i’m not that lucky, audra, i.. i let the people i love die. my brother, my friends.. they all died because of me. because of what i failed to do. it was up to me to protect them and.. i didn’t. what if i fail to the same for our child? what if it comes back? ❞   he wondered for a moment, before shaking his head. no.. NO MORE FEAR.   ❞ that’s perfect, honey. so, tel me.. how have you been? are you ALRIGHT here?  ❞

 Audra smiled over his words and nodded. “Of course, don’t you ever worrya bout that Bill, I am fine with that. I mean you went to safe your friends and other innocent people. how could I ever be mad about that.” she said and smiled at the other before she then listened to him again and then nodded lightly. “I am glad you did, and I am hoping that now we will have mroe time together again, because I missed you a lot as well. I hated being apart from you. for a moment I even thought of following you, but you told me not to so I trusted you and didn’t go.” she said and smiled at him before she stroke his cheek, looking him in the eyes. She really loved him and could not imagine her life without him anymore. It was amazing to have him back again. “No you didn’t tell me but I would love to take a ride with you.” audra answered him with a big smile on her face. “Yes they are safe, and now we can be together again. I just really missed you and im glad nothing happened to you.” Audra said and then kissed him back, smiling against his lips, oh how she had missed the feelig of his lips against hers..

   she was far too GOOD FOR HIM; something much better than he deserved and bill would never understand how he had gotten that lucky to get her by his side - to have such an amazing woman, who loved him , above all else.  ❞it’s gone, audra. it will never hurt anyone ever again , i can promise you that. we stopped it, for good this time. we.. we killed it, all together. avenged my brother, avenged all of our friends that it had killed. it’s alright now. everything will be fine and.. we’re safe. we’re all safe, i can promise you that.❞ placing his hand on her cheek, bill nodded at her in reassurance, before smiling slightly.  ❞ i’m not going anywhere, audra. there’s nowhere i’d rather be than with you, if i am to be honest.  ❞ her words reached his ears and for a moment, bill shook his head.  ❞audra, you don’t.. i’m so glad you stayed back at home. you don’t know what it’s like, in there.. you don’t know what happened to the people who got in it’s way. eddie, stan, my brother.. they all died. i don’t.. you can’t get anywhere near it, ever again. do you hear me? ❞  he placed his hands on her shoulders, before shaking his head.  ❞we shall do it, then. we can do it and.. everything. we’ve got time, now. just.. don’t get anywhere near someone suspicious. please. ❞

         Not many got a second chance at life so whatever force was at work here , Georgie had been thankful for it - somewhat . Being alone in Requiem wasn’t exactly ideal , and having Pennywise lurk around wasn’t either but it beat being dead . Living without an arm also ; Even those fake memories weren’t all too bad , until being riddled with what actually went down . Every memory that contained an ounce of joy was replaced with one of PAIN and horror , and the thing who caused it all .  

        What happened after Georgie’s death ? Did they search for him ? Had Bill avenged him? There plenty more inquiries that itched at the very back of the boys mind , but those would be saved for later and if lucky , maybe he’d be able to get a couple answers once this all got settled . Before getting a chance to answer , Bill went off again . WE’VE NEVER MET BEFORE ; STAY AWAY FROM ME , repeated over and over again ( ALONG WITH OTHER THINGS OF COURSE ) . His brother , his best friend - Never in a million would Georgie ever think such hurtful words could slip out . A year long search came to this , what a let down . ‘ … I’m not a clown , and I don’t know who the eater of worlds is ! I don’t know what you’re talking about ! ‘ Voice oozed of hurt and annoyance , and feet stumbled when taking a few steps back .

        this wasn’t georgie.  it couldn’t be georgie - perhaps, before.. before he had been fooled by it over and over again , he would have believed it, hanging on to the hope that his brother could have somehow been brought back - a miracle, a second chance.. the boy that william denbrough had once been might have believed any of it but he wasn’t a boy anymore. no, he was a man and he had seen enough, done enough to know that in real life, the  M O N S T E R S won. there were no miracles, no second chances , no  , such things did not exist and if it had been somehow brought back , if it believed that it could fool bill all over again , well, it was very wrong because bill wouldn’t fall for it. not now, never again. he was G R O W N  U P, he wasn’t.. he wasn’t a frightened child anymore, who believed that his brother’s death had been his fault.  

   it wasn’t HIS , to be exact, it was it’s and.. bill had to admit that NOTHING, nothing at all had been as satisfying to him as crushing it’s heart had been. he had avenged georgie - the real georgie and now, he could rest in peace.  he wasn’t here , he wasn’t alive - his brother had been dead for almost thirty-years now.  ❞ stop trying to fool me !   i’m over your games , clown. you’re nothing, nothing but a stupid clown and i’m not afraid of you. neither of us is. ❞  he moved in closer ,  hands clutching into fists by his side , as bill looked the other up and down. just a stupid illusion , nothing more. nothing more , NOTHING MORE, it wasn’t possible !   ❞  you’re nothing to me and if you don’t stop pretending to be my brother, i won’t hesitate to rip your heart out and kill you. again. stop pretending to be georgie and show me your real face.  go on, pennywise, i’m not afraid. never have been, never will be.  ❞

         After such a horrific encounter , the boy had been assured that Pennywise was in town , but also maybe Bill . For most , after a year long search would’ve given up hope to find their loved one but not Georgie . Each and every day just encouraged him to keep going , never to lose hope . Surely if the roles were reversed Bill wouldn’t lose hope either , only if he knew that he was still alive . When everything had been done for the day , Georgie decided on looking around . Just to see if he’d get lucky in finding his brother ; Going down an empty alleyway wasn’t a good idea , but why the fuck not ? Fingers gripped tightly around each thin strip of a tattered backpack , eyes spotting a man making their way by him . Feet immediately stopped in place , eyes squinting to get a better look of who it could be . ‘ Bill ? ‘ The boy paused ; There he was standing before him , in the flesh . This was surreal almost , after all this time he finally found him in an alley . ‘ I just , I was running some errands but it’s me .

        if B I L L hadn’t been fooled by it for so long , he would have believed what was standing right in front of him. g e o r g i e , alive and well , even grown up.. like he hadn’t gotten a chance to do , all because of bill. you lied and i died , it still remained as truth as it had been the day he had forced to face his younger self in the basement: it was because of his lie that georgie had died. he hadn’t been sick ; no where close to that, he had lied , because he didn’t feel like playing outside , during one cold, rainy day. had he known that his lie would cost his brother’s life ?  of course not but it didn’t make him any less guilty . it made him a LIAR! still , he had been fooled by it long enough to know that this couldn’t be any other than an illusion ; even if there was one question that still needed to be asked. if this was an illusion , who had created it ?

 it was dead , bill was certain of that . he had crushed it’s heart, alongside ben and bev and mike and richie, while eddie died not very far away from his childhood friends. only it would have used his brother to taunt him , so.. could it mean.. no? no, HE refused to believe THAT!   it wasn’t alive , no, it was dead, eddie hadn’t given his life in vain , it wasn’t.. possible.      ❞   how do you know my name ?  ❞  he asked, even if the answer was right there. illusion georgie would say “it’s me, bill!”. illusion georgie would move closer and then turn into it and rip out his throat. no, he wouldn’t let it..  ❞  we’ve never met before, so.. s-stay away from me. if.. if you are who you think you are, i’m not afraid . we beat you once, we can do it again. you’re nothing but a stupid clown. not the eater of worlds, nothing. just a stupid clown.❞  he waited for a reaction, ready to fight it. before , this had worked but now.. it wasn’t sure.

       as he spoke she smiled and nodded lightly. “It is me yes, I am here.” she said and smiled at him. All the happiness suddenly inside of her, because she finally had her husband back. she had missed him so much, specially after everything that had happened to her. Seeing this Clown and then this weird light. But thanks to Bill everything had come back to normal again. “I missed you too Bill, I kept praying for you to come here too. It was way to boring here without you.” she said and looked at him as she smiled lightly. Audra was hoping that now everything would go back to normal again, maybe they would have to be stuck in this town, but as long as he was here Audra didn’t mind. As long as Bill was around it was okay. She would be just fine. “Are your friends here too? Are they okay?”

                      H E couldn’t help it but be so , so relieved. after mike had called , bill had been so worried about leaving : they had beaten the    devil once but who was to say they could do it again ? still , they had and here he was , side to side with audra , finally at home again.  ❞ i have missed you so much , baby.  i am so sorry that i had to leave so soon , but.. my friends needed me. we needed to.. to finish what we started.  ❞  and finished it they had , crushing pennywise’s heart in their joined hands , finally ending the cycle of violence that had haunted derry for centuries.  ❞ we did it , though. it’s gone and.. i’m here. i’m never leaving your side again , i promise.  ❞  this was where he belonged , bill realized, with his family and audra. as he had stared off at beverly and ben together , bill had realized how much he loved audra , how much he had missed her. it was with her that he belonged, for sure.     ❞so boring ,  ❞ he commented, a hint of a smile playing at his lips.  ❞ did i tell you i bought a bike ? my childhood bike, silver, but.. it’s here. wanna go for a ride ?  ❞ he asked , shaking his head slightly for a moment.  ❞ no, i.. i haven’t seen any of them. it’s okay, though. it’s dead and.. i know they’re all safe.  ❞ he brought her in for a kiss, closing his eyes for a moment.

    Audra had been here for two months, two months without her Husband around and she had missed him so dearly. She wanted nothing more then to have him back with her. To be back at home with him and be happy. And then there he was. Sitting by his laptop, at first she froze. Part of her was scared that maybe it was this Clown again, but no it had to be Bill. So once she made her way to the table she sat down and was about to speak to him when he suddenly spoke first, raising his finger. Audra pouted lightly but then smiled. “So you are not even happy to see your Wife again? Well I see how it is, maybe I should just leave then.” the women said and tried to sound as hurt as possible, but of course she was just teasing him, knowing that if he would have looked up and saw it was her, he would have not wasted a second to get up and hug her. “I missed you Bill.”

  B I L L missed everything about home : he missed his friends , he missed his wife but deep down , there was a part of him that was glad that he was here, getting a chance to rest after everything that had happened . of course , he hadn’t forgotten any of them ; hadn’t forgotten stan or eddie or georgie or dean, whose deaths had been his fault , but if there was something that bill had learned after stan’s death and his letter , it was that you should mourn the dead, yes but not without forgetting those who were live. you find someone worth holding on to and never let them go . that was what he had planned on doing with audra and yet , as he was here , he could do nothing but hope that whoever was in charge of this place would see that he was miserable without his wife and bring her to him . a few seconds later , bill’s faith was rewarded  , as he laid eyes on his wife , standing right in front of him.  ❞ audra ? is that really you?  ❞ he asked , closing his laptop immediately and crossing the distance between the two of them , kissing the top of her .  ❞ you’re here - you’re really here. i’ve missed you , love.  ❞

Why did it feel like Mike knew who this was? Why did it feel like he had met him before? It only made his head hurt, trying to figure out why it felt like he had seen his face before. It felt like being around him was where he belonged. But why? Clearing his throat, hearing what the other had to say, the librarian nodded because he understood perfectly how that felt. “Oh but of course. I’m sorry” he apologized and then moved along, not wanting to annoy the man further.

   B I L L hadn’t meant to talk to the other that way , not as soon as he noticed just who was standing in front of him.   ❞holy shit , mikey! i’m sorry, i didn’t mean to.. i didn’t know it was you , i’m.. i’m finally writing , after everything and i didn’t mean to.. you know, be such a jerk.  ❞  he supposed a part of him should be mad at the other , for lying , for bringing them back, for putting their lives at risk all over again but he couldn’t. mike was the reason they had gotten rid of it in the first place and, of course, the reason that bill had finally avenged his brother.  ❞how are you doing , man ?  you know, after everything ?  ❞

    ever since he had arrived in the I S L A N D , bill had found himself unable to write anything. he tried and tried and tried, but.. it seemed he had absolutely no luck , even with trying to finish the MANUSCRIPT he had started , right after he and the others had killed IT.  he kept working on , day after day but so far, bill hadn’t had much luck , right until today . something was different - he was sure of that much as he woke up and it hadn’t taken him much to start writing: the words coming out effortlessly  ,   just as he had expected them to   , months ago.   

as someone approaches the table he’s seated in , however , bill raises a finger, offering them an apologetic smile , without looking up from his keyboard.  

❞ i’m sure that whatever it is that you want is very important but i’m the middle of trying to solve a particularly bad writer’s block so, if it could wait, i would appreciate it.  ❞
