Well, not totally because I refuse to believe in love. But...

The constant struggle to balance everything while no one understands.

The constant will to put God and Islam above everything while no one understands.

The constant tiny little voice in our head that encourages us to let it all go and live like anyone else.

The constant feeling that you're not fitting anywhere.

And it keeps going. No matter what age you are.

I know many Muslim girls who have chosen to only hang out with other Muslims because they're tired of replying to dumb questions and that's understandable. Don't blame them.

I grew up unable to fit in the Muslim girls' world so I tried to fit in the other one. But I couldn't either. They could not understand my choices either. But I don't blame them.

It's a constant struggle. Amira cares about Islam very deeply but she obviously wants to kiss Dani. And she won't.
