oh yeah I want to ask you how the same Muslim religion in America? of course there is not much that the Muslim religion is not it?
The Muslim religion in America…um. Well, it should be the same everywhere else, but not all the followers are going to be the same. Some people will be more strict in their interpretations of the Quran and some not so much. Some people might even just identify as “Muslim” but they do not follow the practices or the rules. But, I think you see that in any country. I guess all I can say is that Islam is perfect, but Muslims are not.
I hope this sort of answers your question.
wohaa what do you come from randa? my name and name your mom same yes :))
I live in America but I'm half-Algerian and half-Palestinian. What about you?
THIS. MOTHERFREAKING THIS.
Excuse me as I causally anonymously mail this to all my relatives’ homes
Al-Qaeda and the Taliban should not even be categorized as Muslims at all.
Write down! I am an Arab And my identity card number is fifty thousand I have eight children And the ninth will come after a summer Will you be angry? Write down! I am an Arab Employed with fellow workers at a quarry I have eight children I get them bread Garments and books from the rocks.. I do not supplicate charity at your doors Nor do I belittle myself at the footsteps of your chamber So will you be angry? Write down! I am an Arab I have a name without a title Patient in a country Where people are enraged My roots Were entrenched before the birth of time And before the opening of the eras Before the pines, and the olive trees And before the grass grew My father.. descends from the family of the plow Not from a privileged class And my grandfather..was a farmer Neither well-bred, nor well-born! Teaches me the pride of the sun Before teaching me how to read And my house is like a watchman’s hut Made of branches and cane Are you satisfied with my status? I have a name without a title! Write down! I am an Arab You have stolen the orchards of my ancestors And the land which I cultivated Along with my children And you left nothing for us Except for these rocks.. So will the State take them As it has been said?! Therefore! Write down on the top of the first page: I do not hate poeple Nor do I encroach But if I become hungry The usurper’s flesh will be my food Beware.. Beware.. Of my hunger And my anger!

Eid Mubarak Everyone!!
Arab Lady Gatherings
Have I ever mentioned how much I hate going to these? The only joy I find in these events is that I get to dress up. Other than that, it's a very miserable few hours for me that includes being forced to dance by old ladies, being dragged to the dance floor, me awkwardly dancing in front of old ladies even though I actually am a ballet/tap/jazz dancer. There's also that awkward feeling that the old ladies put on you like they're judging you for not being ladylike enough or not following all the silly traditions.
Ugh...I just hate these events.
It also makes me kind of sad that this is one of the only sources of fun (if you can call it that) for a lot of older generation Arab women.
And all the old ladies ever comment on is about when one of the younger girls are going to get married.
I just want to break traditions and eat all the tabbouleh.
Eid Mubarak!!
So many options

100,000 Jews protesting against the state of Israel in New York City, June 9th.
"Dear brothers and sisters, do remember one thing: Malala Day is not my day. Today is the day of every woman, every boy and every girl who have raised their voice for their rights.
Dear Friends, on the 9th of October 2012, the Taliban shot me on the left side of my forehead. They shot my friends too. They thought that the bullets would silence us. But they failed. The terrorists thought that they would change our aims and stop our ambitions, but nothing changed in my life except this: weakness, fear and hopelessness died. Strength, power and courage was born. I am the same Malala. My ambitions are the same. My hopes are the same. My dreams are the same.
The wise saying ‘the pen is mightier than sword’ was true. The extremists are afraid of books and pens. The power of education frightens them. They are afraid of women. The power of the voice of women frightens them. Through hate-filled actions, extremists have shown what frightens them the most: a girl with a book.
Peace is necessary for education. In many parts of the world, terrorism, wars and conflicts stop children to go to their schools. We are really tired of these wars. There was a time when women social activists asked men to stand up for their rights. But, this time, we will do it by ourselves. I am not telling men to step away from speaking for women’s rights. Rather, I am focusing on women to be independent to fight for themselves.
Today we call upon all communities to be tolerant – to reject prejudice based on caste, creed, sect, religion or gender. We cannot all succeed when half of us are held back.
We call upon our sisters around the world to be brave – to embrace the strength within themselves and realise their full potential.
Let us pick up our books and pens. They are our most powerful weapons.
We must not forget that our sisters and brothers are waiting for a bright peaceful future."
Ramadan Mubarak from all of us behind The Beauty of Islam. May Allah bless you all during this month and bring peace and tranquility to your hearts and minds. May you all make changes for the better that you continue to carry with you after this month. May all of your fasting, prayers, and duas be accepted and granted. And may you all be surrounded by those who have pure intentions who send good vibes your way. Ameen :)

Ramadan Mubarak!
If Ramadan is the only time someone goes to the masjid, prays, wears hijab, stops drinking/smoking, doesn’t party, reads quran…etc then good for them. Don’t talk about them, don’t call them fake and don’t use that god awful term “ramadan muslims" to describe them because for all you know during that one month of the year they may be 10 times more sincere and pious than you are all year round. Remember that arrogance was shaytan’s downfall.
