How do we feel about this video???

He's being facetious about some things that were also the problem in the original games. Like the violent escape from Vault 101... plenty of locations don't let you talk your way out in other Fallout games. Laser guns are actually introduced way better (and earlier) in F3 than F1 or F2. Or his problem with the repair system?.. Never got why he hates it so much considering it's the same in NV and fits into the world pretty okay. I think he just inherently hates some popular game mechanics (see his rant about hacking in the Deus Ex video). And VATS? The originals had a similar thing, too, and Bloody Mess IS a trait from the originals?..

There are things that Fallout 3 actually did better than Fallout New Vegas IMO but they weren't brought up in the video thankfully. The bit where he says "I've been burnt with Fallout 3 that's why I didn't try New Vegas for several years" sounds overly dramatic until you realize he was pretty young in 2008, what, 16? That's a normal overreaction for a teenager but a bad point in your media criticism. I disliked many things at 16, too, but he made the video years later and chose to include this pretentious outro.

I actually even decided to defend the long intro because I think that while it is extremely tedious at times, if you can get yourself in that role-playing mindset it doesn't feel so long and pointless but more so just more background for your character and gives you more reasoning as to why you should go back to Vault 101 later on in the game.

Walton said the Ghoul would fold immediately if he saw her and Frances said Barb would recognize him, in a way, just going by his eyes. None of that is canon, yeah, but I don't think they're fridging Barb atp just to give Coop even MORE man pain. They'd better fucking find each other in s3 because I wanna see so so bad how a couple that's been on pause for 200 years even acts around each other. Like... the joy? The sorrow? The tension? The part where you're so overwhelmed you kinda just drop to your knees and try to wrap your head around everything? The way they're gonna be in so much danger in Enclave territory?

Also, if they plan to have Cooper find out what happened to his family in s3 (which they better because if they keep drawing this plot out after s3 people would get bored) and then they're discovered to be gone, I don't think there'll be so much to do with The Ghoul anymore.
