đđ˛đ§đ¨đŠđŹđ˘đŹ: One second, youâre surrounded by the luscious forest of Estrea. The next, youâre cornered by vampires that look at you as if youâre their next meal.
A/N; Reader is in their early 20s here; which is about 120-ish in nymph years. Most of the characters are around the same age as her (good to note that both nymphs and vampires are immortal in this story).
â˘ââ˘â˘âŚđĽâŚâ˘â˘ââ˘
The small ship settles against the shore, finally settling the sick feeling you had in your stomach. In truth, youâd never been on a ship. Neighboring villages were simply long walks from each other.
With your head spinning, you looked outside of the window for the first time in what had seemed like days. The last thing you expected to see was a bare beachâand further off, a dark forest obscured with mist.
Am I back at Estrea?, was the first thing that came to mind to your mind. You knew the thought was too good to be true, but you couldnât help but wish to any God that it was.
You had read on vampires before. The city of Noxus-Zautra, where nearly all of the vampire population dwelled. It was a huge underground system of tunnels and passageways, separated into three distinct districts.
A knock on the door startled you, causing you to look away from the window.
âItâs time to depart the ship, maâam. Please meet us at the shore.â
Your back stood straight at his cold tone alone. The soft bed you slept on seemed to grab you like tree vines, refusing to let go. But you peeled yourself from underneath the blanket. Albeit, reluctantly.
Your feet met the sand, and you sighed at finally being back on land.
You felt one of the guards take your hand, and without another word, the three of you began to talk through the trees.
The walk felt as if it were a mazeâa puzzle to be solved. There was a ridiculous amount of cuts and turns, but what stood out to you the most was how good the guards seemed to remember it.
The further you walked, the more the world darkened. The air became thicker, heavier. Unlike any fog you had ever seen. Just when you were about to question where you were, the three of you abruptly stopped.
Above the fog, a man as large as a small tree stood. Even with your vision obscured, you saw the muscle peeking out from beneath his thick cloak. There was a long, awkward beat of silence.
It seemed as if the guards and the figure communicated with thoughts alone, as they nodded for you to continue. The man holding your wrist dropped it gently back to your side.
You look back at him, confused. He simply stares ahead, his hat remaining over his eyes.
âThis is where we must stop, maâam. Continue down the stairs, there will be someone waiting for you at the bottom.â
He placed your light luggage in your hand, and nodded in your direction. And without another word, he turned on his heel.
Through the fog, you heard the sound of a heavy gate being opened. The figure stepped aside, looking at you expectantly.
Taking a glimpse down the stairsâwas a mountain of steps. They seemed endless, the only source of light being little candles being placed carefully here and there.
Internally groaning at yourself, you began to descend down the stairs.
â˘ââ˘â˘âŚđĽâŚâ˘â˘ââ˘
The walk down was endless. Your hand became sweaty as you gripped the railings, while your other struggled to hold the bag on your shoulder. Sweat poured down your chin and down your neck. Youâd walked the lengths of rivers before, so why was this so hard?
Maybe it was the constriction of air, or the constant motion of moving downward. As much as you wanted to sit and have a breakâyou knew that would only extend the time you were here. So you kept moving, praying that you were close to flat land soon.
Just when your legs were about to give up, you saw a distinct beam of light shining from below. You practically fly down the stairs as you run to reach it. When the stairs finally end, you waste no time in holding onto the nearest wall as you struggle to catch your breath.
You gathered yourself soon enough, brushing off the debris from the ground. You stood, only to see another gate. Behind it, was what looked like sunlight.
You had expected eternal darkness. To never see the sun again. But what you were met with exceeded all expectationsâmostly. You know vampires were allergic to sunlight, and you were miles below the ground. You gripped your bag tighter, gravitating towards the light. Suddenly, the gates eased open, as if inviting you to come inside.
Suddenly, a sea of vampires stood before youâmoving through the city. There were so many in one place, yet their whispers were so sharp it could peice skin. There were market places littered on every corner. You looked above to get a better glimpse of the sun, only to find a ridiculously bright ball hanging from the ceiling. It looked like the sun, but provided no warmth. The city was eerily cold. It felt wrong.
âDonât look too hard. It gets suspicious.â
You broke from your trance, turning to see a young vampire. A woman, with glass eyes and pale skin. You couldnât help but ask, âWhat is that?â
âThe sun..or at least, our version.â
You blinked. âIt looks real.â
She smiled. âWhen you live long enough in darkness, youâll pay anything to feel the day.â
âIt doesnât feel like the sun, though. Itâs justâŚ.bright.â
She shrugged her shoulders, âYouâd be surprised at how far a little brightness can go.â
She picked up her skirts and stood closer to you. âWe best get going, the school isnât too far away from here.â
She looks you up and down, ââŚand maybe find more suitable attire for you.â
â˘ââ˘â˘âŚđĽâŚâ˘â˘ââ˘
You felt like a deer in front of a pack of wolves as you stood idly in front of Ambessa Medarda, the Head of Noxus Academy. Beside her stood what you assumed to be vampires, skinning you bare with their eyes.
Your gaze trailed to the various portraits, which were all beautifully done. They each captured the sharp features and gazes of these creatures, and they too looked as if they were staring directly at you.
Ambessa stood straight at your presence, as if granting you a small peice of respect. âYou must be the forestâs offering.â
Your eyes narrowed. âI have a name.â
She hummed. âIâm sure, child. Y/N, was it?â.
You lifted your head to finally meet her gaze. âY/N Estrea. Of the Estrea Clan.â
Ambessa made her way around the desk, moving to stand in front of you. âThe trees of Estrea wept when we took you, they say. A place of serenity. But serenity will not get you far here, if you are to thrive.â
âYou dragged me here, for whatever reason. I didnât choose this.â
âName one person you know who chooses their destiny, child.â
You stayed silent at that, but held her fierce gaze.
She hummed. âYou have the same gaze as your father. Fierce one, he is.â
âYou know my father?â
Her gaze softened at your question. âThe question is, do you know your father?â
You stumbled over your words, confused at her question. Before you could inquire further, she nodded towards the door.
âItâs getting late. Make your way to your dormitory, settle in. And pleaseâŚâ
She grazed the colorful beads on your breast, âWear something that doesnât make you look like easy prey.â
â˘ââ˘â˘âŚđĽâŚâ˘â˘ââ˘
The dorm building was only a few walks from the main hall. She ushered you into the hall, as if wishing to get away from the views of other vampires on campus. But they couldnât help but stare. And you felt every single one.
There was suddenly an air of silence. The walls were lined with old, worn stone. The artificial sun glowered through the stained glass windowsâa shade of red reflecting onto the cold marble floor.
The marble felt soothing under your bare feet. The vampire spoke, âYour room should be just up those stairs. Follow me.â
You did, and soonâyou were met with an obsidian black door with no knob. A crescent moon was carved into it, and below it read âDormitory 2-Bâ.
âAbby, are you in there?â
There was no immediate response from the other side of the door. After a moment of silence, your guide simply opened the door. You stood outside, looking in awkwardly.
You saw a woman with golden-blonde hair, styled into a messy braid down her back. Her expression was stern, and her muscles flexed under her fitted shirt. She was tall, and her shirt wrinkled as she got up from her bed.
You held her gaze for what seemed like forever. She looked as if she stared long and hard enoughâyouâd be gone. Disappear into thin air.
Your guide nodded stiffly, âIâll leave you two to it.â
â˘ââ˘â˘âŚđĽâŚâ˘â˘ââ˘
âYouâve gotta be kidding me.â
You blinked, turning to her as you studied the room. It was spacious, enough room for the two of you. Blue and white, with hints of black accessories, littered the space. She had taken over most of the room, leaving you the bed and a little spot on the desk by then bathroom door.
You turned to look at her. âAre you my roommate?â
She shrugged and gave you a dry laugh, âDepends. You the forest girl from overseas?â
âExcuse me?â
âHead Mistress said I would be getting a nymph to room with me for the season. Didnât think she was actually serious.â
âAnd you are?â
ââŚAbby, you?â
âY/N Estrea. Of the Estrea Clan.â
Abby raised a brow. âFancy. You gonna try to turn our room into a greenhouse or what?â
âOnly if you start eating raw meat in the corner.â
She laughed at that. âFair.â
Abby dropped to the edge of her bed. She studied you for a second. âYou wearinâ that to class tomorrow?â
You shrugged to yourself. Everyone had been critiquing your clothing lately, but you had no money to spend for something new. âI donât have anything elseâŚ.â
Abby smirked at you. âYou can look through my closet and find what you like. I donât really have a sense of style, so bear with me.â
âThank you.â
She sighed to herself, breathing in deeplyâas if tasting the air itself. âNo problem, Y/N.â

đđ˛đ§đ¨đŠđŹđ˘đŹ: Your once lush life is left behind as you are chosen for something that will change your destiny forever.
â˘ââ˘â˘âŚđĽâŚâ˘â˘ââ˘
The sun peaked through the plethora of trees surrounding you, setting your features alight. The forest of Estrea was lively today, with the soft sound of children playing in the distance. You ran with a purpose, panting and breathing heavily. You glanced over your shoulder for what had seemed like the hundredth time. Your smile brightened each time, knowing your friend stood no chance against your powerful stride.
You stopped beside a tree to catch your breath, hair sticking to your sweaty forehead. At your silent command, the wind picked up around you, cooling your body.
You closed your eyes, and let yourself feel the forest. The slight mist in the air. The fresh blossoming of roses. The grass tickling your bare feet and thighs. Everyday had been like this. And you couldnât help but relish in the simplicity of this routine.
You almost jumped out of your skin are your friend settled two hands on your shoulder. âCaught yaâ!â.
Turning over your shoulder, you were met with the sight of Angelique. A forest nymph with sun kissed skin, full lips, chocolate eyes, and a halo of curly hair around her head. Her bronze skin glistened with sweat as she smiled with all the teeth in her mouth.
âYou ran pretty far, I thought I would never catch you.â
You grasped her hand in yours. âGood thing you did, then.â
A comfortable silence settles between the two of you. After a beat, she moves to stand, but your gently tugged her hand back down.
âStayâ.
She listens to your soft command, sitting beside you on the grass. The tension between the two of you was palpable. With a glance as her lips, you leaned inâpressing your lips against hers.
The kiss was passionate. Raw. As if you had done it one million times beforeâand to the knowledge of no one but the two of you, you practically had.
The two of you were childhood friends. Wherever one was, the other was sure to follow. But as you both blossomed into adulthood, the two of you couldnât help but gravitate towards each other. And with no complaints from the other, intimacy was now common practice in your friendship.
You pull apart, chest heaving. She gives you a weak smile as she caresses the meat of your thigh. âI knew you were going to do that.â
You slyly grin, âYou know me well.â
This tranquility doesnât last long, hearing a call of your name.
âY/N!â
You groan, rolling your eyes. Angelique giggles with a hand over her mouth as moves to stand to her feet. She dusts off her loin cloth and breast cloth, the beads in her garments rattling with each step she took.
âWe should get going. Theyâll probably want us to help with dinner.â
You sucked your teeth, standing beside her. She takes a breath, as if sheâs about to say something, but you abruptly start to run towards the village.
âRace you there!â
She shakes her head as she chases after you, the wind following your paths.
â˘ââ˘â˘âŚđĽâŚâ˘â˘ââ˘
You gaze at the setting sun, the ombrĂŠ sky highlighting your features. The cliff you sat on overlooked mountains, misty clouds settling over them. Your belly was full from the hearty dinner you had eaten, and your eyes felt heavy with exhaustion.
You look over at your sisters, conversing with each other. Something about a boy. Something about planning dinner for an upcoming festival. They share quick glances with you, trying to include you in the conversation, but you only give them a small smile. Being content with your silence.
Angelique rested her head on your shoulder, her coils tickling your skin. She whispered in a soft voice, âDo youâŚever think of something more than this?â
You continue to look forward, pondering her question. âSomething more than this?â
âLike, a world outside of this village. Outside of this forest. A place where no one ones who we are, where no one knows what we are..â
You blinked, âAngeliqueâŚâ
âA place where the forest doesnât whisper your name, a place where you love so deep, it shapes into a curse and forgetting each other is a mercyâŚâ
She abruptly rose her head from your shoulder. âI had a dream last night.â
âIt was about me?â
Angelique looked at you, really looked at you. She breathed out, and grasped your hand. âIf anyone can survive a world like thatâŚâ
She looked up to meet your gaze.
âItâs you, Y/N.â
â˘ââ˘â˘âŚđĽâŚâ˘â˘ââ˘
That night, you couldnât help but think about what Angelique had said. You tossed in turned in your hammock that sat above the trees. The forest lulled into a deep sleep, with animals creeping into their homes to rest.
A poke on your backside caused you to sit upright, looking from left to right. You looked down, finding your mother staring up at you with a long wooden stick in her hand. She held one hand over her swollen belly, she was due any day now.
âCome down, child. I have something to tell you.â, her voice slightly shock, and the beads covering her chest rattled with each deep breath she took. She looked at you as if she knew something you didnât.
You donât hesitate for long, moving to climb down the tree. âComing, mother.â
She turns on her heel, seemingly in a daze. You blame it on her pregnancy. Following behind her, you would soon find out it was anything but.
â˘ââ˘â˘âŚđĽâŚâ˘â˘ââ˘
You followed behind your mother, placing a steady hand on her back. The flowers seemed to blossom when you walked by, and close back up when you reached a certain point.
Your mother noticed this. She grinned, âYou seem to be getting better at your abilities.â
You nodded, âIâve been practicing. Iâll show you some new skills Iâve picked up in the morning. Maybe after breakfast?â
Her smile dropped, and you noticed the way her shoulders seized. With a quiet voice, she whispered, âIâd like that.â
You reached the Elder Tree, the biggest tree in the forest, hollowed out and used to house libraries, classrooms, kitchens, amongst other things.
Your mother stopped at the entrance. âIâll stop here. Thereâs someone waiting for you at the top.â
Knowing well she couldnât walk up the stairs in her condition, you didnât question it too much. She squeezed your shoulder, and smiled. But the pain in her eyes said anything but.
âGo on, then.â
You went, gliding up the stairs, passing by the many rooms. Your thighs burned by the time you reach the top, and with a slight push, you open the balcony doors.
The woman turned, and you were met with the soft gaze of your Head MistressâFantasia. The breath was nearly knocked out of you when you recognized her.
She motioned for you to stand beside her.
You became anxious, shuffling between one foot and another. âWhat did you need at this hour, Head Mistress?â
The mistress simply looked at you, not even bothering to lighten the mood. âYou know I have never been one to sugarcoat the truth, Y/N.â
You stiffen.
ââŚIâm sending you away.â
Your head seems to spin. But she didnât wait for you to say anything as she continued.
âThis is no punishment, child. Rather, an opportunity.â
âAway? Youâre sending me to another village?â
Her expression hardened. âMuch farther than that, Y/N. Iâm sending you across the border, as you are to attend Noxus Academyâthe vampire school bordering their capital.â
Breathing became a stranger to you as her words hammered into your mind. Across the border? Vampires?
âSo youâre just handing me over to them? What if they smell me? Theyâre barbaric. Feeding on the blood of innocents, and youâre giving me to them? Why canât I keep having classes here? Iâve been nothing but good to you andââ
âYou will not argue with me on this, child. The decision has already been made.â
Your face balled up, tears cascading down your face like a waterfall. You whispered so softly that it was almost lost in the wind, âWhy me?â
This time, her gaze softened, and her hand wiped away your hot tears. âBecause your roots spread much farther than you think. And when you realize this, only then will your flower begin to blossom.â
â˘ââ˘â˘âŚđĽâŚâ˘â˘ââ˘
It had seemed as if the whole village gathered at the shore to watch your departure. The air was solemn, many of your childhood friends, caregivers, and teachers wishing you luck on your voyage. Tears threatened to spill over your eyes as you gazed into the eyes of your little cousin, too young to understand. But her little mind seemed to grasp the idea of you leaving, the thought alone making her wailâcrying ugly tears.
Your mother hugged you as tight as she could with her round belly. Your father gave you a warm smile, but nothing more. Like a butterfly fleeting a flower.
In the back of the crowd, you caught a glimpse of Angelique. Her eyes were red and puffy as she med your gaze. You motioned for her to come closer, and hesitantly, she did.
The crowd seemed to carve a path for her. She finally stood in front of you, her unruly hair a clear sign she hadnât been taking good care of herself. There was a silence between the two of you, just relishing being in each otherâs presence.
Abruptly, she shoved a bag in your hand. âThis is for you.â
You took a quick glimpse inside the bag, seeing fruits, nuts, a bottle of wine (where had she gotten that from?), and small bags of beads and thread.
You laughed to yourself, âI have enough food to feed a small army by now, donât I?â. It seemed as if every member of the village had given you a bag of something to eat.
Angelique didnât share your laughter, instead opting to stare down at the sand between her toes. You placed a gentle hand on her cheek, lifting her gaze to meet yours.
âI wonât be gone forever, Angelique.â
Her lips quiver, âItâll feel like it.â
Her gaze hardens, âItâs not fair. Why do they have to send you off? Why not anyone else? And to a school of vampires, of all places.â
âIâm strong. You know that. If I go down, Iâm not going down without a fight.â
She shook her head, âThat doesnât make me feel any better. What will I do without you?â
Your own gaze softened, âYouâll live. Without me, even for a little while.â
Tears finally made her way down her cheeks as she grasped your hand. The distant sound of the ship arriving briefly interrupts the moment.
Angeliqueâs fingers run through your hair, as if her fingers are trying to trace every strand and ingrain it into her memory.
Your father picks up your luggageâreally nothing more than loincloths and foodâand loads it onto the ship.
One last time, Angelique squeezes your hand. âDonât forget me.â
You shook your head, âI wonât, promise. Iâll write to you every chance I get.â
She nodded, as if deciding in her head that that was enough.
You slowly pulled yourself away from her, your bare feet creating quiet sounds against the sand.
The village watched as you boarded the ship, and with the last peice of luggage loaded, you were off. Below you, you see Angelique running after the ship as it departs.
You wave at her, your eyes heavy with tears. She runs until the ship is too far from land to follow, and for the last time, you see her smile.
âDonât forget me!â
Fog soon covers the shore, and just like thatâeverything youâve ever known if out of view. Blink, and Iâm gone.

âŚâŚ.
You looked at Mel from across the room as she powdered and sprayed her face. She had just got done comforting you for an embarrassing amount of time after what her mother, your wife, Ambessa had done.
Never in a million years would you think sheâd do something like thatâto you. The vows you had taken before the preacher all those years ago started blurring years ago. However, it seemed they had finally started to deteriorate.
The paramour Ambessa had perched on her lap flashed in your mind. Sheâd probably purchased the twink from some underground brothel in Piltover. The brothels there were very secretive, and youâd have to get through a few people to even access one. However, the ones in Zaun were out in the open, and anything but secretive.
Zaun. The thought of the place sparked a thought in your mind. It had been years since you visited the place, and from whatâd you heard, the place had just gotten worse throughout the years.
However, one key thing that stuck in your mind was a bar. You couldnât remember the name, or where it was, but you remembered the feeling. The atmosphere, the smiles and warmth everyone shared, the strong taste of the ale on your tongue. And, right now, you craved a little bit of warmth.
You were pulled from your thoughts as your step-daughter laid a hand on your shoulder. Her smile was soft yet cautiousâas if the slightest move might break you.
âIâm going to see Jayce now. Are you sure you donât need me here?â
You nodded your head as you grip her hand in yours. âIâll be fine, Mel. I might go have a little bit of fun myself.â
Melâs eyes widened a little bit. She gave you a sly smile, âWell, you better pick up your phone if I call you.â
You playfully pinched the skin on her forearm, âOh, hush. I am a woman grown. But if you call me, Iâll pick up.â
The both of you shared a laugh, before you pulled her into your arms for what seemed like the hundredth time that night. âBe safe, my love. And donât do anything youâll regret.â
Mel leaned into your embrace, catching the underlying meaning in your words. She internally rolled her eyes, but heeded your advice. âYou too, Mum.â
And with that, she threw her purse on her shoulder and walked out of the room. You sighed at her absence, but the feeling of her warmth would soon be replaced by someone unexpectedâyet welcomed.
âŚ..
The streets of Zaun were alive and buzzing at this time of night. It was no doubt dirty, and you could smell the fumes through your mask. You pulled forward the hood on your head, and held yourself tighter.
The place hadnât changed much since when youâd last visited it. The air was still muggy, and the people were still as rude and selfish as ever, not that it was any better than Piltover. At least people here had a reason to be like that.
Your eyes darted around you. You surveyed anyone and everyone closely, not wanting to get caught off guard.
You breathed a sigh of relief as you were finally met with the neon lights of the place you walked far and wide for, The Last Drop.
You stepped inside and you the first thing you noticed was the heat that circulated throughout the place. The smell and alcohol, drugs, and sweat evaded your nose and you grimaced.
The bar across the establishment was calling your name, and you answered its call. You got comfortable in one of the beat-up black leather chairs. It was a little wobbly, but you didnât mind it.
The man behind the bar worked tirelessly as he dried and shined the glasses. His skin was tan and his dark brown eyes moved skillfully as he made the drinks. It was a stark difference from the man you saw just years priorâhis skin lighter and his frame even burlierâbut you didnât dwell on it for long.
The two of you made eye contact, and he immediately turned and made his way to you. âSo, what can I get you?â
You hesitated for a second, your mind short-circuited. You saw no sign of a menu anywhere. âUmâŚwhat do you have?â
His eyes darted at your words, noticing your slight accent. Despite where you were originally from, living in Noxus for over twenty years heavily influenced how you sounded today. Especially since you had to speak some of the language almost daily.
He looked at you skeptically, âWe have whiskey, beer, wine, yâknowâŚ.what a bar would usually haveâŚâ
You were slightly taken aback at his words, not expecting to be talked to like that. You didnât remember when someone had given you that much attitudeâgiven your position and the power you hold. And who your wife was.
Your wife.
The thought of her churned your stomach like spoiled milk. Your mood dimmed as the thought of her came to mind. You cleared your throat after an awkward moment of silence, âOne shot of whiskey, please. No ice.â
He nodded. âGood, causeâ we ainât got ice anyway.â
You rolled your eyes at his words as you watched him fill a shot glass with whiskey. The bronze liquid poured into the cup gracefully, and you were momentarily distracted by the sight of it.
The sound of the glass gliding across the table and towards you broke your trance. You nodded at the bartender in thanks, but he didnât acknowledge it as he moved on to the next customer.
You studied the drink for a moment too long, internally not trusting it.
âYou gonna babysit that shot all night?â
You looked up from your drink at the sound of a rough, yet calm voice. You were met with a tall, muscular woman with low, dark eyes. Her jet black hair was pulled into a messy bun behind her head, and her black lips were pulled into a sly smirk. She was gorgeous, yet her physique told you she was a force to be reckoned with. You straighten up, trying to make yourself appear less fragile, but the effort only seemed to amuse her.
You turned back ground in your seat, attempting to ignore her presence. But her eyes bore into the side of your head like lasers, and you fight the urge to kick her wear it hurts.
âSo, what brings you to Zaun?â, she asked.
Your breath hitched. Howâd she know you werenât from here? Youâd dressed in the most dingy and boring clothes you owned, hoping nobody would notice who you really were.
She noticed your surprised look and scoffed, âOh, you didnât think throwing on some raggedy clothes would make you look like one of us, did you? I could smell the Piltie on you from a mile away.â
You rolled your eyes at her remark, and before you could think about what you were about to say, you spoke, âIâm actually from Noxus, thank you very much.â
The womanâs smug look turned to one of surpriseâand soon realizationâas she recognized your voice. She had seen you before, representing Noxus and your original house in a meeting held in Piltoverâs walls. You had defended Zaunâs independence and had buildings rebuilt, ones that were once invaded and destroyed by Enforcers. Your name was spoken in Zaun with great recognition, yet suspicion all the same, not knowing your true intentions.
âY/N?â, she spoke, almost in a whisper.
Your lips clamped shut as you held your coat tighter. You mentally slapped your forehead.
Her once smug smile returned again, âHm. Seeing the wife of a warlord was definitely not on my bingo card for this weekâŚâ
You sighed in annoyance, wishing sheâd just go away. âLook, itâs been a long day. I just came here for a release and a good drink. I donât have time forââ
âA release, huh?â, she interrupted.
You stopped, taken slightly aback.
Her smile widened as she finally took a seat right next to you, âNext drinkâs on me. Nameâs Sevika by the way.â
âŚ..
Sevika threw you against the wall, and the throbbing in the back of your head was quickly replaced with a large, rough hand cradling it.
Sevikaâs lips crashed into yours with an intensity like no other. Your tongues fought for dominance, her ultimately winning. She grinded her body against you, and her heat radiated from her body to yours.
She picked you up, and you wrapped your legs around her. She broke the kiss by roughly pulling your head back, your hair tight in her grip. âEager, are we?â
You didnât respond, and instead pushed yourself against her, hoping the friction would quiet the ache in your stomach.
She threw you against the hard mattress, and didnât waste any time tearing your clothes from your body.
Your nipples hardened as they were met with cold air, but you made no move to cover yourself. You knew you were beautiful, and you relished in the way Sevika studied your body in awe.
She chuckled, âNot too badâŚâ
You smirked back, studying the way curly hairs enveloped the space between her legs. âNot too bad yourself.â
The humorous mood was quickly replaced with tension as she reached over for somethingâa strap. It was thick and lengthy, but surprisingly didnât look cheap. The material was solid in her hands, and she worked with the skill of an expert as she fastened the harness to her hips.
She spread your legs a little further and scooted herself closer to you. The lube in her hands loosened as she studied the way slick covered your walls and entrance. âLooks like I wonât be needinâ this.â
She plunged two fingers into you, and wasted no time as she pumped her fingers in and out of you at a steady rhythm. Your hips bucked towards her.
She leaned down towards you, and her plush chest pressed against yours. Your moans grew louder with each digit she added. Sevika nibbled at the sensitive skin on your neck, and the coil in your stomach tightened.
Her pace became more hurried and erratic, sensing you were close, and she rubbed the strap against your clit, earning a groan in her ear.
You released yourself with a sigh as you came on her fingers, the wet sound enveloping the quiet room. Your moans quieted as you calmed yourself from your high, sweat dribbling down your face and chest.
Sevika rose from your chest as she looked down at you. She lined her strap up with your slick, loose entrance, and placed a hand on your hip to keep you steady. The two of you locked eyes, and she smirked, âYou good?â
You nodded your head sluggishly, âYeah, yeahâŚâ
Sevika hummed in approval, and in one swift motion, thrusted herself into you. You hissed at the stretched, but the slight pain flew by as she started to move in a steady pace.
Her hips moved back and forward as she thrusted into you at a relentless pace, and your moans bounced off the walls.
She leaned forward, and you wrapped your arms around her shoulders. You moaned into her bare shoulder as the smell of her musk evaded your nose.
The sound was wet skin hitting skin made you clench around her, a tears clouded your vision as you stared at the ceiling.
You dug your nails into her back, drawing blood that caked beneath your nails. She groaned at the action, the sound echoing through the room.
âSâSevikaââ, you choked out as your legs curled around her.
You could feel her smirk as she pressed her nose into your shoulder, âHm?â
Your nails dug deeper into her back, âIâIâm closeââ
Her thrusts became deeper, and she slowed her pace as she pulled at your hair from the root. âThatâs it, shitââ
You came with a moan as your back arched against her. You could see the way she bit her bottom lip through your blurry vision.
Your moans quieted as she chased her own high, her thrusts refusing to stop. She kneaded one of your soft breasts beneath her hand, her fingers ghosting over your nipple.
She came with a grunt, the last few of her thrusts harder than the last. She threw her head back as she tried to catch her breath. She brought a hand up to her hair, running her hands through it. Sweat glistened her toned body, the valley of her breasts heaving with every breath. You took a moment to admire her beauty, in its rawest form.
She slowly pulled out of you, and you slightly winced at the motion.
You sighed in relief as you raise up, though you were careful not to move your numb legs.
You whispered as you spoke, âThanksâŚI needed that.â
Sevika smirked at you, her tooth gap slightly showing. âItâs nothinâ. I didnât have anything better to do tonight anywaysâŚâ
You smirked back, âSo, how much do I owe you?â
She was taken aback by your comment, but ultimately went along with the joke as she smiled, âItâs on the house, babe.â

Valaena stood stiffly in line with the many other women in training. Sweat collected on her brow as she waited in anticipation. All the women were staring straight forwardâseemingly looking at nothing. Despite this, every time she looked away, she felt someoneâs gaze burning into her.
She was short and lanky compared to the other soldiers. Her pale skin stood out like a sore thumbâa sign of her Targaryen roots. Her hair was done in a loose, hurried bun. And her tightly blinded breast were begging to be freed.
After was seemed like hours, the sound of footsteps echoed through the yard. The sound of silence was now even louder, and all the soldiers instinctively straightenedâincluding Valaena.
When the princess caught sight of the woman, she didnât know whether to be frightened or impressed.
She had heavily scarred, tanned brown skin. Her peppered hair was braided back into a tight bun that made Valaena wince as she gazed at it. Her lips were pressed in a firm line as her cold, grey eyes fell on each and every one of the soldiers. Her bindings wrapped tightly around her large chest and her muscles were probably the result of years of war and training. In her loose fitting pantsâshe could tell her legs were more toned than any man sheâd ever seen.
She studied the women with a fierce gazeâyet passed them by without a word. She stopped when she met Valaenaâs eye. The princess looked at her feet.
âItâs officialâ the General has really gone fuckinâ mad.â, her heavy Noxian accent weighed in every word she spoke.
âFirst, she thrust in a recruitâa fuckinâ Targaryenâ when we are practically in the middle of training season. And she didnât think to tell me until the night before. Sheâs practically asking for a spy to infiltrate the camp.â
The princess stayed silent, not being sure whether the woman was talking to her or herself. It seemed like both.
âShe still has yet to tell me why youâre hereâŚâ
Before Valaena took a shaky breath to answer, she felt a finger press hard into her chest. The breath was nearly knocked out of her as she the woman got so close to her their noses were practically touching. She could feel her hot breath in her lashes.
âNo matter. Before I teach you a damned thingâget one thing clear. Back at your little home, youâre a princess. Royalty. Here, you mean as much as the other peasants in Noxus. âif that. You have no titles, no rankings, not a damn dime to your name. When you leave, that might change. I doubt youâll last long. But as long as you are under my command, in my camp, you are below me.â
Valaena fists tightened as she darted her gaze to the ground. Her words circulated in her mind, and the reality of the situation was finally coming to her. The woman took her finger and tapped the side of her head roughly.
âDo you understand, soldier?â
âYesâŚâ, Valaena trailed off, not knowing what to address her as.
The woman finally backed away, and spoke so everyone could clearly hear her. âYou all already know thisâbut let me reiterate for the newbie. You are to address me as Sergeant Gold. Not Sergeant, not Goldâbut Sergeant Gold. Any disrespect will not be tolerated and punished accordingly. The correct formation when your presence is requested is arms straight, fist closed, and feet together. Everything else you need to know will come to you naturally.â
She continued to speak, âWe are four weeks into trainingâyouâll need some catching up to do. Hopefully one of our comrades can help you, âcause I ainât slowing down. Since I wasted the ten minutes you shouldâve had to do your morning drill, youâll spend extra time with me during the evening. Thanks to your new friendâŚâ
Groans were heard at the news of having to stay back extra time, and Valaena couldnât feel anymore embarrassed.
âWell, ladies..why donât we get started?â
âŚ..
Veleanaâs arms shook as she attempted to push herself off the ground. She didnât remember how many push-ups sheâd doneânor did she want to know.
Sergeant Gold went on and on about how you were âflimsyâ and âneeded to gain musclesâ. And the only way to do that was to do an extensive amount of exercise. The princess could feel her core burning as sweat dribbled down her chin.
It had been hours since she had a cup of water or a crumb of food. Her stomach being empty almost overshadowed the pain she was feeling.
She pushed her body back down, and up again. Her eyes darted to some of the other soldiers, who were doing exercises entirely different from hers. Obstacle courses, bare-handed spars, staff training.
âEyes on me, soldier.â
Valaena looked back towards the Sergeant. She seems amused as she watched her struggle to pull herself back up. Her smile sends shivers down Valaenaâs spine.
âUp, soldier.â
A wave of relief crashed over herâbut she suppressed her sigh and resumed the expected stance.
The woman turned to the other soldiers as her voice echoed throughout the yard. âGather âround, ladies. Time for the real training to begin.â
âŚâŚ
Valaena held two empty wooden buckets as she stood last in line. The ladies were currently filling up buckets of water. Whatever for, she didnât know.
When it was finally her turn, she filled her two buckets. She struggled to lift them as her arms shook from the strain.
A staff was thrown as her feet. She stared at it with confusion, and looked to see the rest of the ladies were just as confused as her.
They all looked towards the General, âThis is one of my favorite exercises we have here. You will place the two bucket handles on the staff, and lie the staff on your shoulders. It would do you good to rememberâthe water you are left with is all you are allowed to drink for tonight. Unless you want to drink your bath water, I suggest you not to waste a drop.â
The General proceeded to demonstrate what it should look like. She put each bucket on each end of the wooden staff, and placed it behind her head and on her shoulders. Despite how rough she wasânot a drop spilled. She looked towards the mountains above. âWe will carry these up this mountain. Then, and only then, will I allow you to drink your water. That isâif you have any. Prepare your staffs.â
The woman heeded her command as they put the bucket on the staff and on their shoulders. However, it was clear that Valaena was struggling as she tried to get the staff on her shoulders. When she finally did, she swayed side to side from the uneven amount.
The General laughed at the sight, âStand straight, soldier.â
The command went in one ear and out the other. She continued to sway from side to side, thankfully, the General decided to ultimately ignore as she began to job up the mountain.
âKeep up, ladies!â
âŚâŚ
Valaenaâs vision blurred as she struggled to keep up with the ladies. Her arms weakened, and her arms shook as she struggled to hold the bucketsâwhich now held little water. She had spilled most of it.
The radiant sunlight beating down on her skin didnât help. She was dehydration, tired, hungry, and now being cooked alive in broad daylight. She could no longer see her fellow soldiers as her legs shook.
Her vision dimmed as she finally collapsed. She fell to the hot ground beneath her as rocks embedded themselves into her skin. Her body had given out completely.
The General looked behind her as she counted her soldiersâwho were all keeping up nicely. However, her movements halted as she noticed there was one missing. She huffed as she realized she saw no head of white hair amongst the crowd.
âIqra!â, she called out. The womanâs head swiveled as she turned to the Sergeant. âYes, Sergeant Gold?â
She motioned her head behind her, âRetrieve your comrade.â
Iqra turned on her heel as she descended down the mountain. She stopped when she found Valaena at her feetâsweat dripping from her body and frizzy white hair covering the ground around her. Even in this state, she was beautiful.
âGet up, Valaena. Weâre not even halfway up yet.â, she said as she touched her with the tip of her foot.
Valaena stayed still on the ground. She groaned as her muscles and skin ached.
Iqra sighed and set her water and staff down. She picked up Valaena by one of her forearms with ease. She turned behind her, picked up the buckets, and placed the staff over both of their shoulders. She chuckled as she looked over her reddened, tired face. âRough first day, huh?â
Valaena didnât share her amusement. She simply nodded tiredly. Iqra smiled, âYouâll get used to it. Come on, Iâll share my water with you once we get to the top. Weâll be there before you know it.â
The princess couldnât help but give the girl a small smile. She didnât know how to thank her for thisâbut she promised herself she would.
âŚâŚ
âThe girl is weak.â, Sergeant Gold complained as she nursed a pint of ale. She sat before Ambessa, a woman she had grown to admireâand fearâdespite her being years younger than herself.
Ambessa chuckled, âSheâs only been with you for a week. Sheâs not going to be up to your standards in that amount of time.â
Sergeant Gold gave her an unconvincing look, âWhy did you even bother to put her in camp? Sheâs a flimsy little princess who spent her whole life having a countless amount of people wiping her arse. She could be a spy for all I knowâready to give up information to her incestuous family the moment she leaves camp.â
Ambessa shook her head, and her deep red locks moved with her. To be honestâshe didnât have a real answer to why she assigned you to training. Youâd asked for it, and despite the risks, she gave you the position. It was something about the fire in your eyes are you looked at her, how it refused to dim despite who she wasâand who you were to her. It was a feeling that intrigued her, yet scared her all the same. It was why she sent you off to work under her, knowing you had potential.
But Ambessa didnât say that. In fact, she didnât say anything as she turned away and walked out of the room.

âŚâŚ.
Ambessa stared at the car as it sped off, leaving her and her emotions in the dust. The bewilderment she felt was almost immediately replaced with guilt and regret for what she had done. Her chest heaved as she looked towards the ground. It took her moments before she gathered the strength to move.
She turned on her heel, and began her shameful walk up the stairs and towards her manor. She prayedâfor his sakeâthat the brothel worker wasnât there. Her emotions were all over the place, and she wouldnât know what sheâd do if she saw him there.
Thankfully, when she walked into the manor, he was no where to be seen. Only spilled wine and the smell of sex filled the room. She grimaced at the smell closed her eyes. She barked for one of the nearby servants to clean the mess.
No servant came.
She opened her eyes, and no servant was present nearby. It was completely silent. Not even her guards were present. She rolled her eyes as she remembered dismissing all the guards and servants so that she would be alone with the boy.
Ambessa groaned, but ultimately went into a nearby kitchen and got a bowl of hot soapy water, a rag, and a towel.
She dragged herself towards the main area. She went to her knees as she began to clean the warm wine off the white floors.
As she scrubbed, her mind couldnât help but drift to her wife. The face she made when she could her in the act. It was one of pure betrayal. One of a woman watching over fifteen years of marriage being flushed down the drain. The star in her eye fading, now becoming nothing but a dim light, reminding Ambessa of a distant memory.
She thought of the recent years. How she slowly started to turn away from your affection, treating it as if it were the plague. How she avoided your warm greetings and replied with short, stifled oneâor none at all. How sheâd left you in a cold bed in hopes that would toughen the walls she fought so hard to build.
She thought of an incident that happened just two years prior. You had arranged a small gatheringânothing too big. It would be just the two of you, sitting under the stars eating cake and drinking the finest of wines. Something calm and romantic, just how she liked it. You gave her small invitation on her pillow to look at when she woke upâa bit corny, but full of warmth and love. It had a place and timeâone where you knew she would be off duty. You had hoped she would take the time off to come.
That night, you waited under the stars. Alone. The scenery was beautiful, and yet, Ambessa was never there to fill it. It took you over two hours to realize she wasnât coming.
She had gotten caught up in âworkââor at least that was the weak excuse she was given you. You shouted and complained at her, saying how she was putting duty over the relationship.
She looked you in the eye that night and said you were overreacting. Being ridiculous. That you wouldnât understand what it takes to have responsibility.
You cried into your pillow that night, and your relationship had been strained ever since.
Ambessa became more vigorous in her scrubbing as tears clouded her vision. Not long after the argument, she started taking paramours into her bed. She had men and women alike, anyone but you. By distancing herself from you, she thought, it would allow her to make the necessary to protect her family.
Every time she did somethingâshe thought about you. Whether it be making a political decision or agreeing to an alliance, your voice spoke in the back of her mind. What would you think? What would you say? Would you agree to this?
Thatâs all she asked herselfâand she fucking hated it.
The once ruthless and formidable leader had been softened by the gentle voice of her wife. The thought came to her in the deepest depths of the night, and she couldnât shake it away.
She couldnât even have a good fuck without thinking about you.
She knew this would happen eventually. You would find out about her infidelity and walk out on herâjust as everyone else had. The thought of the thorn in her side finally being gone did nothing but please her.
But she didnât know it would hurt so much. To see your heartbroken eyes as you caught her red-handed in the act of doing something she thought would protect the both of you.
Ambessa threw the rag down as she reached up both of her hands and rubbed her eyes and cheeks as tears of frustration ran down her face. She rose from her knees and turned awayâthe mess being long forgotten.
She walked out of the main room and into the hallway. Her footsteps halted as she leaned against a nearby wall. She held her face in her hands as her heart raced in her chest.
Her fists clenched at her sides, and she couldnât stop the endless stream of tears that cascaded down her face.
âŚ..
You leaned on Melâs shoulder as you bit your lip. You couldnât even bring yourself to cryâbut you knew the tears would come again eventually.
Mel held you but said nothing, already knowing you had seen everything you needed to. When the girl first saw her mother with the paramour, her heart fell to her feet. She berated her mother, telling her to consider your feelings. Telling her to stay loyal. That she would regret it sooner or later. And by the look on her face before the car drove offâshe did.
If Mel hadnât hated her mother beforeâshe definitely did now. And the more she looked into your empty, heartbroken eyesâthe more her resentment grew. Sending her away from her homeâaway from youâand now this? She would have to get on her hands and knees if their relationship would ever be resolved.
The car came to a stop, but you made no move to get out the car. You furrowed your brows as you surveyed your surroundings.
Mel spoke up, âExcuse me, sir, this isnât our stop.â
The driver ignored her as he continued to look forward.
You looked up at Mel as you straightened, âMel, whose car are we in?â
Melâs heart drummed against her chest. âI-I waved down the carâŚ.They were just driving circles in front of the manorâŚ.Now that I think about itââ
âDammit, Melâ, you gritted through your teeth as you checked the doorâand to your horror, was locked.
You jumped out of your skin as the door was abruptly open and a man pressed a gun to your temple.
âIf you want to liveâI suggest you get out of the fuckinâ car.â
âŚ..
Ambessa leaned over the table as she stared into the fire. She hadnât moved in hours. The way the flames moved and danced atop the woodâit was the only thing distracting her mind and keeping her from going crazy.
Suddenly, a guard busted through the doors, and her head shot up. Her bloodshot eyes burned holes through the man as she gritted her teeth, âHow dare you barge in my room without knoââ
âMâlady, my deepest apologies for intruding, but it has been brought to my attention that your wife and daughter are in danger. We must leave, now!â
She stilled as she heard those words, and only then noticed her sonâKinoâwith a worried look on his face as he stood behind a group of guards.
Ambessa shot up from her chair and wasted no time exiting the room and making her way towards the guard. âWhat happened?!â
âT-there was a woman who claims to have witnessed the two of them being forcibly taken out of a car and held at gun point. She ran off before she could do anything.â
Ambessaâs mind ran at a thousand miles per minute, âIs she sure that was Mel and Y/N?â
The woman spoke up as she held on tightly to a bag of groceries, âIâm sure of it, mâlady. It wasnât too far from here, either.â
Ambessaâs fists clenched as her heart dropped. However, she knew she couldnât break downâthat would just waste time. âAssemble the guards and scout the nearby areaâinterrogate nearby residents. Split the team in twoâand sent one half with me.â
The guard nodded stiffly, âRight away, General.â
She turned to her son, and they shared a quick look of concern. Her for her wife, and him for his mother. He spoke after a moment, âIâm going with you.â
Ambessaâs shoulders stiffened and she turned away, âJust donât get in my way.â
âŚ..
Your body was cold as your eyes moved around frantically, only to be met with darkness and the smell of potatoes. Your breathing picked up as you struggled against the rope around your wrist. The material burned through your skin, and you could already tell it would be bruised tomorrow.
The muffled cries of your daughter echoed throughout the cell, and you heard her shift on the cold floors. âMâMom?â
Your ears perked up as you heard her call out. âIâm here, Mel. Breathe, childâ
Her strained breathing was a clear sign of an anxiety attack, and the need to help her made you struggle against the rope harder. âBreathe, Mel. Itâs gonna be alright. Iâm here.â
Her heavy breathes quieted. A small moment of relief came to you, but it was soon taken when you heard a manâs voice call out. âA moment between mother and daughter, how touching.â
The sound of tools being played with echoed, âEnjoy it while it lasts.â
Before anything happens, a door is abruptly opened. The sound of wrestling, yelling, and fighting fills your ears. The smell of blood penetrates through the bag on your head, and your head starts to spin from the smell.
The rope around your wrists was suddenly cut with impressive precision, and the bag was gently taken off of your head. You looked up to meet Ambessaâs eyes, and all the anger you once felt dissipated into relief. â âBessaâŚ.â
She gently picked you upâbridal styleâand carried you out of the cellar. You looked over her shoulder and sighed in relief as you see Mel being freed behind you.
You were placed inside of a car, and a blanket was thrown about your shoulders. Everything has happened so fastâso quicklyâthat you had no time to process it. The question âWhat just happenedâ weighed heavy in your mind.
You felt a hand wrap itself around yours, and you looked up to find your son, Kino. The look of relive and tranquility was evident on his handsome faceâbut an underlying knowing look was present in his eyes. âAre you hurt?â
You shook your head, âNoâŚat least not physically.â
The meaning behind your words didnât go over Kinoâs head as he noticed how you kept eye contact with Ambessa as you spoke. The woman sat across from you as she averted her gaze. You could see her jaw clench as she attempted to keep her stoic face. Even thenâshe couldnât let her guard down. Now even in front of her children. You sighed in disappointment.
The car door opened and closed as Mel made her way into the car. Her hair was frazzled and her eyes were bloodshot from crying. She constantly rubbed her hands around her wrists. She stare straight forward at nothing in particular. She flinched when you threw the other half of your blanket over her shoulders. You brought her in and wrapped your arm around her shoulders. You let her learn on your shoulder as she gripped the covers for dear life.
You turned to Kino, âHowâd you know we were there?â
He spoke up, though his voice was shaky and unstableâ, âUhâŚ.some lady saw what transpired. She reported it to one of the guardsâŚâ
You nodded stiffly, âIâm glad you got to me in timeâŚ.I donât know what wouldâve happened if you all had gotten there any later.â
Ambessa closed her eyes, as if the very thought of what couldâve happened disgusted her.
Kino spoke again, âDid they say what they wanted?â
Mel shook her head, âThe guards came before he could mention his intent.â
Ambessa inserted herself into the conversation and spoke in an even tone, âWeâll know when we conduct a thorough investigation on him and his posse.â
You bit your lip at her words, already knowing that investigation was just another word for torture.
You shook your head, âNo matter, the fact that weâre all safe is what matters. I donât want to dwell on it for long.â
Kino slightly chuckled at that, âYouâve always been like thatâŚquick to dismiss everything and move onâŚI donât know whether or not thatâs a good thing.â
You smirked at his words, âLiveâs too short to dwell on trying matters. Mel and I are safe, and the only thing on my mind is getting us all home. Together.â
Mel shuffled on your arm, âTogether? That word doesnât exactly describe the MedardasâŚâ
You threw the blanket over Kinoâs shoulder as you pulled him into you, âTonight it will.â
And as Ambessa stared at the sight of the three of you lean in on each other, her resolve for fixing what she had done became stronger. Not just for herselfâbut for her children.
You brought a softness into this family. You were the glue that held them all togetherâand wouldnât let go.
Sheâd be damned if she let what she had done destroy the bond the two of you had built.

Idk if Iâm doing the request right but I was wondering if you could do an Ambessa x reader based of your âMy Tears Ricochetâ fic where the reader gets took along with Mel. I honestly just wanted to see more motherly bond with Mel and Kino while Ambessa is tweaking out. (Sorry if I did it wrong)
In the drafts now, thanks for the request đ

âŚâŚ
The blaring sun was high in the sky as you practically stumbled off the ship. You squinted your eyes as you placed a hand over your eyes.
The fact that you were drunk off your ass was obvious to everyone watching. You reeked of ale and your hair was in a tangled mess. The guard escorting you off the ship kept a safe distanceâin case you decided to throw up yesterdayâs remains.
You and your three ladies-in-waiting finished three full bottle of Noxian ale that you stole from the top deck. Not knowing when youâd see each other againâyou decided that you all would share one last drink. WellâŚmore than a drink.
Despite the searing headache and vertigo you hadâsigns of a major hangoverâfor once in days, the last thing on your mind was where you were and why you were here. Right now, all you needed was a cold shower, a cup of hot tea, and a warm, comfortable bed.
Ambessa watched you from a distance as you stumbled off the ship. News from the guards that three bottles of ale were missing was brought to her in the wee hours of the morning. Now, the culpritâor culpritsâwere clear to her as they all drunkly attempted to hold themselves up. She didnât know whether to be offended, angry, confused, or just plain amused. Or maybe all of the above.
One thing became clear to her throughâpink was definitely your color. The light pink dress you wore complimented your skin and your e/c eyes. Your h/c hair, though messy and tangled, flowed down your back as your light skirts blew in the wind. The soft pink that tinted your cheeks added more fuel to her fire as she continued to study you. Maybe she could make them pink for an entirely different reasonâŚ
She shook her head, her grey coils moving effortlessly with her head as she tried to shake those thoughts from her head. She gestured to one her many servants waiting for her command. âSee to it that she has comfortable quarters. Get her a bathâŚshe desperately needs it.â
The servant nodded grimly. They walked over to you as you practically leaned on the guard beside you. She grabbed your forearm and pulled you towards her, âPlease follow me, mâlady. Letâs get you cleaned up and in bed.â
You looked at her for a moment. A belch came from the depths of your throat, and you laughed as you held your chest. The servant grimaced and turned on her heel, not waiting for you to follow her.
You continued to quietly laugh as you were led into the castle by the servant. You studied it in awe as you gazed upon the intricate details and carvings of stone imbedded into it. Your castle was not even a quarter of its size. If it were grand from the outsideâimagine how it looked on the inside.
You continued to looked at it as you mumbled under your breath, âGodsâŚ.â
âŚ..
You could hear the servant in front of you audibly huff as you struggled to follow her. She was mumbling something inaudible, but you couldnât make it out. Instead, you stared at the many hallways you passed in awe.
The hallways varied in colorsâbut they were limited to crimson, gold, and hints of silver. They were adorned in various paintings, statues, and sheer drapes with thick golden rope. There were hollow mannequins of armor, which scared the shit out of you when you first saw it when you walked in.
You stopped when you got to one painting after climbing a ridiculous mountain of stairs. It was one of the woman who took you, Ambessa Medarda. Behind her stood what had seemed like a younger version of herself, a young woman with dark brown kinky hair braided into a bun with striking green eyes. Beside her stood a young man slightly taller than her with short tendrils of black coils and full lips.
You stared at the picture for a moment, studying it, before slurring to the servantââWhoâs that?â
The servant stopped her hasty walking, and turned to you. With a mix of annoyance and hesitation, she walked over to you and looked at the painting you were talking about. She pursed her lips before speaking.
âItâs her lady with her two children, Kino and Mel Medarda. The painting was done years agoâŚ.â
You stared at it in awe, connecting the dots in your mind. âAnd where are they now?â
The servant was broken from her trance as she looked back at you and shook her head. âIt would do you good not to pry in her ladyâs business. Come on, you reek of ale.â
âŚ..
The next few hours were a blur for you. You vaguely remember being thrown into a hot bath, being scrubbed from head to toeâeven under your fingernailsâand your hair being detangled, washed, and brushed. You remember your freshly washed and dried hair being braided into a loose braid down your back. A sheer nightgown was put onto your nude body, and they finally let you sleep.
The bed was like sleeping on clouds. It was luxurious compared to the one you had used on the ship. That hard, stiff mattress was long forgotten as you sunk into the cool, silk sheets. With a sigh, you were out like a light.
You woke up a few hours later. You yawned as you stretched your limbs and hummed as you took the time to appreciate the best sleep you had in days. You rubbed your eyes and breathed in the lavender lotion they smothered onto your body.
The door to your chambers was abruptly opened as a servant made their way into your room. No knocking, no âMay I come in?ââŚ..They just bombarded into your room.
Then againâŚ.this wasnât really your room.
In her hand was a plethora of extravagant dresses. They practically engulfed her frame as she struggled to hold them, and she looked over the mountain of dresses to look at you.
âMay I put these on your bed?â, she said, breathing heavily.
You shot up from the bed and made room for the dresses, âOf course. Help me help you.â
You took some of the dresses from her hand and carefully placed them on the bed. You stared at them in awe. Each one had a different design, some lighter than others, while some were heavier and more delicate than others. But they all had one thing in common.
They were all pink.
You looked to your right as the servant set the rest of the pink dresses down. âWho are all these dresses for?â
She gestured towards you. âTheyâre for you, mâlady. From her lady Medarda.â
Confusion made its way onto your face. Dresses? For you? And why are they all pink?
The servant broke you from your thoughts, âThe lady Medarda wants to see you for tea. Iâll help you get on a robe and such.â
Your heart dropped at her words. The last person you wanted to see was that woman. You toyed with the cuffs of your nightgown as you spoke softly, âNow? Well, let me get ready and IâllâŚâ
âThereâs no need. She said just the robe is fine.â
You grimaced, not feeling comfortable at being in her presence with just a robe and sheer nightgown. The servant threw the robe over your shoulders, and led you towards , or what you assumed to be, Ambessaâs quarters.
When you got there, there were no guards stationed at her door. The servant knocked and announced her and your presence through the grand double doors.
âCome in.â
The servant pushed open the doors. It was dark outside by now, and the only source of light in the room was the fireplace. The chamber itself was grand, grander than any youâd ever seen. It was probably twice as big as the one you were given, and the bed was huge and adorned with gold and crimson silks. Despite that, it looked as if hadnât been slept in.
Your heart pounded in your chest as you entered the room. Ambessa Medarda sat at an intricately carved wooden table near the fireplace. She was adorned in a sheer crimson robe and you quickly darted your vision to avoid the sight of her visibly large chest. Her grey coils fell down her shoulders as she looked towards the servant. âLeave usâ, she said sternly, leaving no room for argument. The servant slightly curtsied before scurrying out of the room and closing the door behind her.
Now it was just the two of you. The tension in the room was thick, and the fire did little to prevent sweat from collecting on your brow.
Ambessa gestured towards the char opposite from her, âWhy donât you sit, child?â
You sighed as you walked over to the chair. You took a hesitant seat as you studied the contents on the table. There were two porcelain tea cups that sat prettily on the table. In between the two sat a kettle. Ambessa leaned over the table and poured you a cup of tea, âThis should help with the hangover.â
You froze at the mention of the hangover. Howâd she know you were drunk? Stupid question. Everyone knew you were drunk earlier today, and the remnants of your hangover still weighed heavy in your mind as your head slightly spun. Your cheeks reddened at the mention of it, and you struggled to find your words. Instead, you muttered a small âThank youâ.
Ambessa chuckled at your reaction. She leaned back in her seat as she sipped her own tea. She set down the cup and looked towards you, âYou knowâŚif I were captured by an enemyâthe last thing Iâd think to do would be to get drunk. Stupid drunk at that.â
You stayed silent as she continued to speak, âAnd to steal not oneâbut three bottles of ale and think we wouldnât notice. Bold, little one.â
You continued to stay silent as you took in her words. You slightly shook your head as you looked into your lap. âYou wouldnât understandâŚ.â
Ambessaâs grin faltered as she barely heard your words. âWhat?â
You looked up, but not into her face. âMy ladies in waiting took the ale from the top deck and for that I apologize. But the fact that we got drunk, I cannot. I have known those ladies for as long as I can remember, and with everything thatâs going onâŚwe didnât know if weâd see each other again. So we decided to have one last one with each otherâŚ.the ale wasnât really planned, though.â
Ambessa hummed as she poured another cup of tea. âHmâŚHow sentimentalâŚ..â
She looked up at you, her golden eyes burning into your face. ââŚbut that ale is expensive, what if I had decided to punish you for it?â.
You looked her in the eyes right back. âThen it wouldâve been worth it.â
The two of you stared at each other for a moment. She looked as if she were searching for something in your gaze. Finally, you looked back down at your now cold tea as you took another sip.
âI wouldnât have brought them here, yâknowâŚâ, Ambessa muttered softly.
You furrowed your brows, not catching her words, âHmph?â
She spoke louder, her voice taking up the room, âI wouldnât have brought those ladies here if I would not have let you see them. I brought them to be of company to you. Why would I bring them if not for you? I have enough servants kissing my arse alreadyâŚ.â
You sat back, surprised at her words, though you ignored the last part. You nodded at her words as a small smile graced your lips at the gesture. âI appreciate thatâŚ.â
She stared in awe at your soft smile, and bit the inside of her cheek as she nervously stirred her tea. She couldnât remember the last time she had felt like this about, wellâŚ.anyone. She cleared her throat, âDid you like the dresses?â
You nodded. âThey were very beautiful and, wellâŚ.pink. Why are you doing all of this for me? My ladies, the beautiful roomâŚ.and now the dresses. I love it all, butâŚ.â
You looked at her, and the moonlight from the window illuminated her face. She spoke softly, softer than you expected her to, âPrincess, I didnât bring you here for the intentions of hurting you, as you mightâve already concluded. The circumstances areâŚtragic, being given away to save you and your kingdom. But the main reason I wanted you was for a distraction. An escape from everything. The court, the nobles, the endless amount of work that I have yet to attend to, the wars, the treatiesâŚ.itâs a lot. And itâs taken me years to admit that to myself. Now that Iâve finally faced the music and realized that it is all too much, I decided to take you in. I need someone to care for, someone to worry about not because I have to but because I want to. Someone toâŚdote on, to put it into simple terms. Youâre a princess, after all, you should be used to it.â
Her words left you speechless. You felt a mixture of relief knowing you would be safe and not tourturedâbut slightly confused on what being âdotedâ on meant. You were a princess, yes, but being doted on by one of the richest women in the world was an entirely different thing.
You ran your hands over your thighs, now feeling a little more comfortable knowing her intentions. âSo youâre basically going to pamper me?â.
She smiled at your words, âItâs more to it than being pampered, child. All of your needs will be taken care of, and anything you want Iâll try my best to get. Of course, youâll need to carry yourself accordingly in front of the court and at gatheringsâotherwise, I donât ask much of you.â
You thought back on the elaborate dresses she bought for you, and you couldnât help but ask, âWhy pink?â
She shrugged her shoulders as she drunk the last of the tea, âWhy not?â
âŚâŚ
The next few weeks were more than pleasant. You had become accustomed to your new life rather quickly. The constant pampering and giftsâwho at first you thought were annoyingâwere now something you looked forward to. Dare say, even expected.
You had also gotten used to court life in Noxus. There was always something new, with rumors and gossip spreading like wildfire. The hottest topic seemed to be you at the moment.
The pretty princess ,Y/N, from a small, unknown kingdomâtaken from her home as a sign of peace between Noxus and Castile. No one knows what Ambessa really uses you for, but every time they saw you, you were adorned in a beautiful pink gown and jewels worth whole manors. Whether the gown be simple and light, or daring and elegantâyou never failed to look gorgeous.
The nobles didnât really like you at first, not seeing much gain in becoming your ally. However, when you and Ambessa were once spotted having tea in the gardens, it seemed as if everyone wanted to become your friend. You gave them all tight lipped smiles and short greetingsâknowing their true intentions.
Your relationship with Ambessa grew as well. The two of you would talk over breakfast or lunch, sharing the latest talk in court. As she got to know you better, you opened up about your past, and in turn, started rambling about her son Kino. Sometimes, you had to tune out her words and simply admire the structure of her face as her brows furrowed on the topic of her son. When she called you out on it, you denied it with a heavy blush on your face.
Your ladies started to notice the small thing you had for Ambessa, and started to tease you every chance they got. Theyâd make small jokes, or bump your shoulder when they caught you watching her train. You denied the allegations to no end, but you both knew there was something deeper than what was spoken.
One thing that couldnât be denied was the blossoming of something new. Something that would last for years to come, and you both looked forward to it.
Your tough, sweet General, and her beautiful princessâpretty in pink.

âŚâŚ.
Blood. Death. Sorrow. Poverty.
Thatâs all youâd been hearing about for the past month or so. The war between Noxus put a major dent in your fatherâs kingdom, and now we were on the brink of a depression. It drained us of soldiers, riches, and innocent citizensâ who didnât even know there was a war until the warriors were knocking on their front door.
Your kingdom was fairly small. There was just a few hundred citizens and a small army to protect yourselves with. You all didnât bother anyone. Didnât engage in conflicts overseas. Barely even traded with nearby kingdoms. The few allies you did have were strained and undocumented.
It was the perfect target for Noxus.
They didnât waste much time taking action. They sent a flurry of soldiers by surprise, and with the pressure from his councilâyour father was forced to declare war. Big mistake.
You were now kept coddled up in your room with a ridiculous amount of guards stationed outside your door. Your late night escapades into town were no more as you longingly gazed out the window for hours on end.
Sometimes your ladies in waitingâAmara, Evelyn, and Felicityâwould visit you for tea. The once bubbly conversations about relationships and the latest fashion were no more. Now all you ever discussed was the war. There was never any good news.
The three of them had been sent from nearby kingdoms even smaller than yours when you were much younger. Ever since then, youâd been attached at the hip. You practically shared everything with themâand vice versa.
You smiled at the thought of your friends. Theyâd been one of the few joys you had ever since your mother died.
You were snapped from your thoughts at your chambers doors were open. One of your guardsâHenryâgreeted you, but you could tell his usual hard facade was shaken.
âYou are requested in the throne room, Princess.â
You looked at him in confusion. âThe throne room? Me? Why?â.
He kept his frigid body still, âI will escort you down, Princess.â
You cautiously rose from your seat and approached the guard with hesitant steps. Before you would fully step out of the room, he spoke in a faint voice, âI know this is not my place, but I suggest you bring a small bag of belongings with you. Anything that youâll want to keep.â
Your confusion turned into slight anger, but you didnât question his word. He had been loyal to you since the day you were born and crowned princess. You looked down to find him holding a small brown satchel. You took it from his shaky hands.
âHurry, princess. She wonât wait long.â
You continued to pack the few things you couldâwondering who exactly she was.
âŚâŚ
The two of you finally made it to the throne room with haste. However, as you walkedâwell, joggedâthe castle wasâŚ.eerily silent. The usual hustle and bustle of the court was no where to be seen. Servants that once greeted you as you passed now looked down at their feet at they practically ran past you.
Something was wrong. And everyone knew expect you. You had a feeling that wouldnât last long, though.
The two of you finally entered the court room, and one of the guards announced your entrance. âPrincess Y/N Y/LN. Princess of Castile and daughter of King Arthur.â
As soon as you entered, you could feel the tense energy throughout your being. You noticed the council standing off to the left of the throne with indifferent gazes towards you. Your father sat perched on his throne with a grim expression as he slumped in his seat. His right leg was shakingâa clear sign of his nervousness.
What surprised you the most, however, was what stood to the right of the throne.
There stood a tall, burly woman. She was adorned in crimson, gold, and silver armor as her sword sat on her waist. Her free grey coils complemented her rich brown skinâwhich was heavy with scars. Her physique rivaled even your fatherâs as sun stood at an impressive height. There was a handful of guards accompanying herâall wearing the symbol of Noxus. Your nervousness grew tenfold.
The silence in the room did nothing to lessen the tension as everyone turned to look at you. You shrunk under their gazesâall possessing mixed emotions.
The scarred woman was the first to speak, âItâs about time you came down, princess. I thought we would be waiting here all day.â
Your father visibly tensed at her taunt, but ultimately said nothing.
âPerhaps your father could tell us why youâre here.â
His jaw clenched as looked down at his feet. He hesitantly straightened up in his seat as he took a shaky breath. Fear was evident in his voice as he spoke, âFor the past month or so, Castile has been at war with Noxus. It has cost us the lives of many, and our supplies have lowered to practically none. As a result of this, the council and I have come to the conclusion to stand down to protect our people and resources. In exchange for peace between usâŚâ
His breath hitched as he paused. He looked up at the woman, then you, âI will give my daughter, Princess Y/N, to General Ambessa Medarda.â
Your heart dropped at his words, and you nearly fell to your knees. The councilmen shook their head as they continued to look at you in pity. Your father merely avoided your gaze as his fists clenched. Tears clouded your vision as your nails dug into your palms.
The woman, who you now knew as Ambessa, waves toward her guards, âEscort her to the ship. Be gentle with her, will you?â
You froze up as her guards strode towards you. The cold steel that covered their hands met your arms and they started to pull you towards the door. Almost as if a light switched in you, you started to kick and scream, trying to get the guards off you. You struggled in their hold, and they hesitantly looked towards Ambessaâseemingly asking for help.
You continued to struggle as they tightened their grip, and your father winced at your cries. You turned towards your sworn protecter, âHenry, help me! Get them off of me! Listen to me!â
He simply continued to stare straight forward, ignoring your pleas. He closed his eyes as he turned away and his stoic expression faltered.
The guards lifted you up as they carried you out the throne roomâyet you struggled even harder. You caught a glimpse of Ambessa, who looked seemingly amused at the whole exchange.
The sound of your struggles faded into the distance. Your father, the councilmen, and Ambessa were now left alone in the throne room.
Ambessa turned to your father in one, smooth motion, âDonât worry too much, Iâll take very good care of her.â
And with that, she turned on her heel and follows you out the throne room.
âŚâŚ..
You looked longingly out the small window into the vast ocean. The ship was bigger than any one you had ever seen. Though, you didnât get much time to admire it as the guards thrusted you onto it and locked you in a small room.
You had been on water for days, and you knew you didnât have long before you arrived in Noxus. The pink dress you wore made you look prettyâyet you felt anything but.
There was a small bed with white linens and wooden furniture attached to the ground so it wouldnât move. You didnât mind it though. How could you?
Tears welled up in your eyes as you clutched your small brown satchel tighter. You cried for what had seemed like the hundredth time that day.
Everything you had ever knownâgone at the snap of a womanâs fingers. You couldnât think of a worse situation than now. A princess who once had a life of tranquility and peaceâwas now being shipped off to the enemy in exchange for the lives of your people.
The fear of the unknown weight heavy in your mind. This womanâAmbessaâcould do anything with you. She could make you a servant in her estateâcondemned to scrubbing stains out and mopping floors for the rest of your life. She could make you work in the fieldsâbending over until your back ached as you cooked alive in the relentless heat and picked crops from the ground. She could make you a pleasure woman for her soldiersâgiving you to them when they were done with their duties, waving absently as she said âHave a go at herâ.
The prospect of being a servant didnât seem so bad compared to the other onesâespecially the last one.
You were pulled from your thoughts as you heard the lock on your door being undone. You jumped from your seat and backed away from the doorâknowing none of the servants should be here at this time.
You stayed as silent as a mouseâas if whoever was outside didnât already know you were in there.
Your breath hitched as the door creaked open. In walked in your ladies in waitingâAmara, Emily, and Felicity.
The initial surprise you felt was forgotten as relief crossed your features. The ladies ran over to you as they gave you a big hug. It brought you warmth and joy like no other.
While you were happy, you couldnât help but ask, âWhat are you doing here?â
Amara was the first to speak up, âWe were escorted onto the ship by soldiers. They told us we were to accompany you to Noxus. We didnât even hesitate.â
Felicity spoke, âThey didnât even give us time to pack. They said âeverything we needed would be in Noxus.ââ
Emily held up your bag, âThis is all they let you take?â
You shrugged, âHenry told me I might want to pack a small bag of things I wanted to keep before I was taken to the throne room. Itâs all I have left.â
Emily shook her head. âOh, HenryâŚ.â.
You sighed at the mention of the man who was once your sworn protector. Heâd probably be dead the next time you see him, given his old age. Before you could dwell on the thought long enough to cry, Amara started to pull something from behind her back.
You motioned towards it in curiosity, âWhatâs that?â
Amara smiled mischievously, âItâs liquor. Noxian liquor. We snagged it from the top deck, went right under their noses.â
You stared at the bottle in disbelief as you studied it, âLiquor?! What if we get caught with it? Weâre dead women walking.â
Felicity shrugged as she pulled out her own bottle, and Emily followed soon after. âTheyâll never notice. They had enough bottles to get an army drunk.â
Your disbelief grew tenfold as you stared at the women. They stole not oneâbut three bottle of Noxian liquor.
You couldnât wrap your head around why they would possibly do that. âWhyâd you get this? I meanâŚIâm not turning it down but, this doesnât seem like the best time to get drunk off of your ass.â
Felicity looked at you as she held her bottle. âY/N, weâre celebrating. After we get off this ship, our lives will changeâif it already hasnât. We donât now for sure whatâs gonna happen. This could be our last night together, and Iâd be damned if I spent it without you all by my side.â
Tears welled up in your eyes as the reality of the situation came to you. She was right. How could you know if you were going to see each other again? You couldnât. The thought of you losing your sistersâall you really had leftâwas too much to bear. The ladies share your tears as the revelation was made. Soft sniffles filled the room as they leaned on each other.
You grabbed the chilled bottle from Felicityâs hands as you spoke. âYouâre right. Things will change when we get off this ship. But I have known you ladies for as long as I can remember, and Iâd be damned if some Noxian scum tried to tear us apart.â
The ladies were visibly surprised at the determination in your voice as they looked up at you. You popped open the liquor and help up the bottle.
âA toast, to us. We are sisters, and nothing will change that.â
Emily and Amara held up their own bottles, while Felicity simply held up a fist to the sky. âCheers!â
You held back your head and opened your mouth as you took a generous shot. The burning sensation punched you in the back of the throatâbut the feeling was quickly replaced by warmth and relaxation.
The bottle was passed around and finished quickly, and the three of you sat in a comfortable silenceâenjoying each otherâs presence while already feeling tipsy.
You leaned on Emilyâs shoulder as you silently prayed. For your sisters. For your people. For your father. For yourself. And for the Noxian woman to have mercy on you. Lots of it.
The sound of a second bottle being opened broke the silence, and you hoped your prayers would be answered.
Little did you knowâthey would be.

Your sobs were muffled by Melâs chest as you leaned into her hold. Her slim fingers made her way through your now loose, frizzled hair. Your hands clenched onto her like a lifeline and right nowâshe was.
For a moment, she had a sense of deja vu. She remembered when she had first gotten her period when she was 13âthe first step to becoming a woman, and instead of running to her real mother, she ran to you. You held her in your arms and the harder she cried, the tighter you hugged. The two of you rocked back and forth as she told you how scared she was, a vulnerability she couldnât even share with her mother, and how you reassured her and cleared all doubts from her mind.
To you, the act may have thought to be necessary. An act of kindness any mother would show for their daughter. But to her, it was so much more. Every time the breeze blew in a certain way or the sun sat low in the skyâit reminded her of the warmth of your embrace. The warmth of your heart.
And now, she held you in her arms. She rocked you back and forth. And she let you cry out.
When your sobs finally died down, the two of you stayed silent for a moment. But there was a silent question in the air that had yet to be spoken, âWhat are you gonna do now?â.
Mel soothingly rubbed your arm as she looked down at you. âDo you need anything?â
You shook your head. What you needed was something she wasnât able to give.
She took a shaky breath. âI know this is hard for you. She wasnât always the most loving, but I never thought she wouldââ
She stopped as she closed her eyes and scrunched her nose. She shook her head. âI thought she loved you.â
You finally looked up at her through red and puffy eyes. You licked your chapped lips as your hoarse voice spoke, âYour mother does love me. We..wouldnât have gotten married if she didnât. IâŚâ
Mel turned to you with an angry look. âTsk. She doesnât love you. She canât. How do you explain what you just saw? Youâve been loyal to her for the entirety of your marriage and have stood by her when no one else did. You gave up so much for her. How can you sit here and sayââ
You held Melâs face in your hands as her own tears of frustration ran down her cheeks. You wiped them away as you spoke softly. âMel, what your mother has done has hurt me in ways I hope you never experience. But I donât want this to be another crack in your relationship. Itâs already strained as it is. In no way am I justifying her actions but pleaseâŚdonât let this affect you as much as it has me. A connection between mother and daughter is unlike any otherâeven one between spouses.â
Mel stared dumbfounded at your words, but stayed silent as you continued. âI love you Mel. Never forget that. Even if this causes a rift between your mother and IâI will love you no less.â
Mel fought back tears in her eyes as she held your gaze. She nodded at your words and leaned into your shoulder. You held her hands in your own. She spoke, barely above a whisper, but it was as loud as any shoutââI love you too, Mom.â
After a moment of silence, there was a vibration felt on the bed. She looked over at her phone with a mixture of annoyance and confusion.
As she checked to see whoever had messaged her, a look of realization crossed her features. âShit!â
You looked at her, surprised at her languageâbut ultimately ignored it. âWhatâs going on?â
âI set up plans with Jayce a while back before you told me you were coming to Piltover. I totally forgot to rescheduleâŚNow heâs on his way.â
She shook her head, âIâll tell him to cancel and we can do it some other time. I know you need me right now.â
You shook your head, âNo, no. Iâll be fine. Please, go enjoy yourself with thisâŚ.Jayce.â
She looked at you softly, âAre you sure? I mean, we can always do it another timeâŚ.â
You nodded, âGo ahead. Iâll be fine.â
She smiled as she kicked on her shoes as straightened up her hair and makeup. She threw on a robe as she changed out of her previous dress. She didnât get the chance to choose one before she turned back to you.
You stared out the window in a pool of your own thoughts before you felt a tug on your arm.
âCome on, youâre coming with.â
âWhat?â, you said, surprised.
âYouâre coming with Jayce and I. You said you wanted to meet him.â
You looked at her, considering her offer. âLook at me. I canât go out likeâŚthis. I look and feel like I just had an emotional breakdown.â
She looked at you in silent agreement and ordered one of the maids outside to prepare a shower. She ushered you into the shower and said sheâd be right outside if you needed her. You wanted to under the hot water, but you know you were on a tight schedule.
After you got out and dried your body and hair, she rushed over to her large vanity, pulling out a plethora of hair supplies. She ushered you over, and you sat in front of the mirror.
The two of you sat in a comfortable silence as she practically pampered you. She detangled, brushed, and curled your once frazzled hair. She pinned it back as she applied your preferred makeup from the bag you brought with you abroad.
The makeup was simpleâyet it complimented your features. You hadnât known Mel was so good at this. When she was small, she was gotten her first makeup kit that she begged to have for practically a year. You had been her first test subject. The looks you got from the nobles when you kept on the makeup throughout the day did little to dampen the wide smile of little Melâs face.
When she was finally satisfied, she turned away from the vanity and started to put the things away. âDo you like it?â.
You nodded as a smile graced your features. You ran your fingers through your loose curls, careful not to mess them up. You felt prettier than you had in a long time.
âGood. Now we just need to pick an outfit.â
She went over to her closet as she raked through her many dresses. After a moment of indecisiveness, she picked a white satin off-shoulder dress that fell just above her knees, showing off her long legs. Her braids were done in a tight low bun as she let two frame the sides of her face.
Meanwhile, you were still struggling to find something to wear. You didnât want anything too provocative since you were married despite the circumstances but you didnât want to cover too much because of the relentless heat of Piltover.
You ended up choosing a sleeveless sage green dress with a heart neckline. It reached your ankles, being modest and flowy at the same time. You threw on a gold necklace and small diamond earrings.
Mel approached you as she took in your appearance. âYou lookâŚamazing, Mom.â
You smiled bashfully at her compliment. You threw on a purse as you both exited the room.
It was time for you to unwind.
âŚ.
The three of you ended up going to a nice restaurant not too far away. The sun was still high in the sky as the three of you looked outside the window at the beautiful view.
âSo, howâd you meet my Mel?â, you askedâgoing into interrogation mode now that you all were seated.
The boy turned his attention to you, his charismatic personality slightly cracking under your gaze, âWell, uhâIâm actually working on a project here in Piltover. It was way before I became a council member. I was stationed in the main building and she just so happened to be there. Weâve been together ever since.â
Mel smiled, âI heard about him through the grape vine. One of the prodigies behind the Hextech. It was only a matter of time before the two of us met.â
The two were deeply in loveâheart achingly so. It reminded you of when Ambessa first introduced herself to your own parents. She refused to crack under their scrutinizing gazes and answered every question as if she had meticulously prepared beforehandâwhich she probably did. It didnât take long before your parents were nagging the two of you to get married.
âI take it youâve met my wife?â, you asked.
Jayce visibly tensed at the mention of Ambessa. He took a sip of his fruit drink before clearing his throat, âI have. She was, uhâŚ.she definitely let an impression.â
The silence was loud as Mel took a French fry from Jayceâs plate.
âBut if I may speak freely, Mrs.Medardaââ
You nodded towards him, curious at what he had to say.
âThe two of you are soâŚ.different. From the way you look down to the aura you exude. I-Iâve heard stories as a boy detailing how you brought peace to Noxus and many other lands they once butt-heads with. They always said you were soft and kind. But you had a firm hand and possessed the political knowledge to end wars before they could they were even declared. Youâve saved the lives of so many peopleâsoldiers, citizens, and nobles alike, and yetââ
He stopped, realizing he was ramblingâa habit he picked up in his early years. âWhat I mean to say is, the two of you are basically the Sun and the Moon. Polar opposites.â
You smiled softly as you mindlessly toyed with the straw in your drink. âThe Sun and the Moon complement each other. But if the Moon were to disappear without a traceâthe Sun wouldnât bat an eye. It would keep thriving as it always has. Yet, if the Sun were the disappearâthe Moon would mourn its death for endless nights to come.â
A silence overtook the three of you, and Jayce seemed confused at the comparison. Mel spoke softly, extending the metaphor, âAnd yetâŚthe world would notice if either disappeared.â
You nodded your head at her words as you pushed your plate forward. âYes, yes it would.â
âŚ..
As the sun started to set, the three of you headed to a nearby bar for drinks. It was getting slightly chilly, and Jayce through his jacket over Melâs shoulders to shield her from the cold.
You simply held yourself tighter, cursing yourself for not bringing a jacket.
You sighed in contempt as you finally entered the bar and took a seat. The two lovebirds sat a few seats away from you, but not too far.
The bartender made his way to you first. He wore an all black button down shirt and pants, and his jet black hair complemented his piercing blue eyes. He smiled warmly, âWhat can I get for you?â
You took a glimpse at the menu as you spoke tiredly, âJust a Daiquiri, please. Chilled.â
He nodded. But he stood there for just another moment, âRough day?â
You gave him a small smile, âYou could say thatâŚâ
He began to talk out the necessary ingredients for your drink at an impressive pace, âIn that case, first drinkâs on me then.â
You smiled at him gratefully as you gave him a âThank youâ. You reminded yourself to give him a generous tip before you left.
You brought the drink to your lips and took a generous sip. The taste of sugar, rum, and citrus made its way onto your tongue, and you hummed in satisfaction. You set down your glass as you looked around the bar.
You saw people smiling and laughing as they shared drinks. You saw couples giggling and holding each other tight. You saw people sitting aloneâyet even they looked content. They were all happy.
Why couldnât you just be happy?
Over the years, Ambessa started to bury herself more and more. She pulled herself away from you, often leaving you in a cold bed and practically engulfed your small frame. She wouldnât come back until the wee hours of the morning, and even then, she wouldnât greet you. Wouldnât touch you. Wouldnât even spare you a glance.
I shouldâve seen the signs sooner, you told yourself. I shouldâve went away before it got too far, shouldâve filed for divorce the moment she became distant.
But you didnât. You stuck by her side. Waited endless nights in a cold bed hoping sheâd come home and be normal again. Notice you. Love you.
Yet the moment never came. You had waited for something that was never going to come.
Before you knew it, you lost count of the number of shots you ordered and downed in come take. You ignored the look concern the bartender gave you as you stared down at your fingers. You trailed shaped across your thighsâsomething Ambessa used to doâand, fuckâ
You just couldnât get her off your mind. No matter how hard you tried. No matter how much you desperately wanted to.
Your eyes drew heavy, and you practically tumbled out of your seat. You made your way over to Melâwho was practically sitting on Jayceâs lapâand let her know you were going home. Her once carefree gaze turned into one of concern.
âDid you need me to call you a ride? Give me one second and Iâllââ
You shook your head, âMel, really, Iâll be fine. My place isnât far from here. Enjoy your night, donât worry about me.â
She sighed, âAlrightâŚcall me when you get home.â
You nodded at her words, gave the cashier a wad of cash and told him to âkeep the changeâ, and stumbled out of the bar on two left feet.
âŚâŚ.
You stumbled towards the door of the apartment you were renting out while in Piltover. It was luxuriousâone of the most expensive of its kind. Though, you hadnât spent much time in it.
You shuffled through your purse as you searched for your keys in the dark. You sighed in victory as you finally found them, and clumsily put your key in the doorknob.
You opened the door and stumbled through your apartment with low eyes. You threw your purse somewhere are you walked up the glass stairs.
You heard slight shuffling upstairs, but your drunk, hazed mind decided to ignore it. Big mistake.
You walked through the hall and towards your roomâonly to freeze at the door way.
In less than five secondsâyou swore you were now sober.
There she was. Your wife. Ambessa. She sat faced away from you on the far side of the bed. Her shoulders were stiff and her back was rigid. She looked down into her lap, and without even looking at her face, you could tell she was in deep thought.
You slowly started to walk backwards, but at the absolute worse time possible, your left heel decided to break, and you stumbled backwards. With a thud, you were brought to your knees on the floor.
Shit.
She spinner around and her gray coils moved with her. She scrambled to her feet as she went to help you up, but you snatched your arm away. âDonât touch me.â
You scurried into the room and sat on the bed as you rubbed your ankle. That was definitely going to bruise in the morning.
âY/NâŚâ, you heard Ambessa whisper. Youâd never heard her speak so softly.
You tried to ignore her presence, but that was impossible to do. She stood where she wasâyet her gaze enveloped the whole room.
You shook your head as you held back tears, âIâI donât ever ask for muchâŚ.â
She stayed silent as you spoke.
âI donât ever ask for much. All the presents and gifts you gave meâŚAll the houses and land you bought meâŚAll the jewels and diamonds you gave meâŚ.â
You shook your head harder as your tears fell harder, âI ainât ask for none of that. All I asked is you give your kids the light of day. That you give me the love and attention I give you non-conditionally. That you stay loyal to meâas your wifeâand show me that our marriage wasnât out of infatuationâbut genuine love for one another.â
You sobbed harder as you fought to breathe. âYou think I donât have wants and needs too? You think I donât imagine myself being able to have a stable relationship with someone else? You think I donât want to have sex and have somebody fell up on my body? To whisper sweet nothings in my ear? To show me that I matter to them? But I would never go behind your back and do that to you because I love you. I love you so much it hurts, Ambessa. I wish I could just let you go. Rip you out of my life and run far,far away. But I canât. I just canâtâŚ..â
You grew frustrated at her silence and wiped your snotty nose. âWhyâd you do it, Ambessa? Why you have to do me like that?â
Ambessaâs ownâs tears clouded her vision as she fought to find the right words. Her breath hitched, and she could tell you were becoming impatient. So she spoke her mind, and didnât hold back.
âIâI thoughtâŚ.you made me weak. I thought if I allowed when I allowed myself to get close to you, I weakened the walls I fought so hard to built around myself. Iâve fought so hard to become the woman I am today, and I couldnât let anyone take that away from meânot even my own family. So I distanced myself. From Mel. From Kino. And from you. I thought I was doing us both a favor. It allowed me to make the necessary decisions to keep us safe, and for youâŚ.I thought it would allow you the satisfaction of knowing you werenât sleeping next to a monster.â
Surprise crossed your features as she continued to speak, âI have the blood of thousandsâif not millionsâon my hands. Women, children, and men alike. The thought of it haunts me every night, and yet, and I have brush it aside. I opt to spend most nights asleep in the very same chair I spend hours reviewing and signing papers in because I canât bear to sleep beside you knowing what I have done. What I will do.â
Tears started to spill onto her scarred cheeks as she approached you. You didnât move, and simply stared.
She knelt before you, and grabbed both of your small hands in hers, âWhat I have done is unforgivable. And I will accept any punishment you give me. IâIâll build you a new estate for you to stay in. Iâll have it done before winter, but pleaseââ
You grabbed her face in your hands, halting her words. The two of you met eyes, and a thousand words were spoken before either of you could say anything. Your mind betrayed your anger as you looked down at your wife. Your wife. Not the war general, not the most powerful figure in Piltover, not the formidable warlord, but your wife. A woman. With a mind, and a soul, and a deep, aching heart confined in the thickest of chains. Chains only you could break.
What she did hurt you deeply. But you could see the regret in her eyes. How it spread throughout her body. How it seemed to age her face even more.
You took your thumb and wiped a stray tear on her face, and she closed her eyes as she leaned into your touch.
You brought her head into your bosom, and for a moment, the two of you were silent. You laid your cheek on her head as you embraced her. Years of regret seemed to radiate off her. She spoke softly into your chest, âI donât know if you can forgive me, but I want you to knowâŚ.Iâm sorry. For everything. And I will spend the rest of my life working for your forgiveness. I swear it.â
You took in your words as you shook your head. âWhile I certainly canât forgive you now, Iâll give you a chance. Prove to me that our marriage is worth keeping. Show me that you can change, for us.â
Her head shot up, and a look of relief like none other crossed her features. A genuine smileâone you hadnât seen in a long time, but adoredâgraced her features as she held you tighter.
âIâll changeâfor us.â
âŚâŚ
The next few weeks brought you happiness that you hadnât felt in a long, long time. The two of you finally traveled back to Noxus.
You hugged Mel tightly on the dock while the guards and servants prepared the ship. However, the tension between her and her mother could be cut with a knife as they shared brief goodbyes.
The morning after you came home drunk to Ambessa in your apartments, you called Mel and told her about the apology. She was taken aback, not believing a word you said. She had asked why she did it in the first place, yet you didnât want to share too much on the private conversation. You gave a brief summary, leaving out some stuff, and she simply hummed. You could tell you were holding back something through the screen.
The ride back home wasnât what you expected, and for a moment, you doubted Ambessa would stay true to her word. That quickly changed when the two of you arrived home.
It was like a switch flipped inside her. Instead of lingering behind after meetings, she spent the rest of her free time with you. She no longer spent countless hours hunched over a desk looking over papers, and finally got a trusted assistant to help her. She invested more time in the things you enjoyed and even found out things about herself. Her side of the bed was finally warm as she held you in her arms at night and shared hot baths with you in the morning.
Your wifeâthe woman you fell head over heels forâwas finally back. You couldnât be happier. However, despite how much your relationship has improvedâŚ.she had yet to touch you.
The thought lingered in your mind as you fought to push it away. Instead, you stared at Ambessaâs back as she undressed and got ready for bed. That didnât help.
You continued to look at her as she switched off the lamp and climbed into bed beside you. You heard her breathe a sigh of relief before she reached over to give you a âgoodnightâ kiss.
However, as she leaned in, you took her by her shoulders and gave her a deep, passionate kiss.
You could tell she had an initial reaction of surprise, but quickly recovered and leaned into the kiss. Your tongues and mouths collided as her large hands roamed your body.
Being the impatient woman she was, she started to undo the bralette you wore to bed. Her hands immediately began to knead your breast, and you moaned into her touch.
She buried her head into the crook of your neck and planted hard kissed onto the soft flesh as she practically rubbed herself against you. The heat in the room seemed to increase by the minute.
She pulled herself of you after a moment as she started to plant kissed on your chest and stomach. The redness in your cheeks spread throughout your body. She threw off the lacey underwear she wore and held your legs on either side of her head.
She pressed kissed into the insides of your thigh, and your heat was practically pulsing just as hard as your heart.
You moaned as she pressed a tantalizing kiss to your pussy, and practically came right there when she sent a lick to your slit.
Without any warning, she began to feast on your heat. Every lick, suck, and bite elicited a new sound from your lips, and every one was music to Ambessaâs ears.
You weaved your hands through her hair as you grind yourself against her face. Your toes curled as you recognized a familiar coil inside your stomach. And with a shout, it finally snapped.
You should feel Ambessaâs smile as she continued to lap at you through your orgasm.
You breathed heavily, trying to come down from your high. You heard Ambessa shuffling around through the drawerâand you already knew what she was looking for.
A soft blue glow radiated from her hand as she adjusted the Hex-strap on her hips.
You vividly remember receiving the strap on an anniversary. She never told you where she got itâor how she got itâbut she put it to good use the same night.
âI canât remember the last time we used thisâŚ.â, she said more to herself than to you.
You were brought back to reality as she took you by the forearm and flipped you over as if you weighed nothingâand you didnât to her. Your face was stuffed into a pillow as she arched your back, and you could already feel yourself clenching around nothing.
She rested one hand on your thigh as she spread you open and roughly inserted two fingers into your wet entrance. She pumped them in and out at a steady pace and you moaned into the pillow beneath you. You took your hand and started rubbing small circles over your clitâbut Ambessaâs hand quickly replaced yours as she nipped your ear.
Your second climax that night soon came to you in waves as you relaxed against Ambessaâs shoulder. She didnât give you much time to collect yourself as she aimed the strap at your dripping cunt. You took in a shaky breath as you felt her slide in. She leaned over your shoulder as she whispered sweet nothings in your ear and held both of your hands in hers. When she was finally in, she slid halfway out, and drove herself into you againârougher this time.
She continued this act a few more times before she had a steady rhythm of going out and roughly driving back into you. You could feel her hips collide with your thighs and ass and her rough hands gripping your soft love handles. If not for her tight grip on your hipsâyour head wouldâve collided with the intricately carved wooden headboard.
She continued this until you were both moaning and pantingâsweat pooling on your brow. Her grip on your hands loosened as her own groans filled the room. Her hips lost its steady rhythm and became to more at a sloppy and frantic pace. You knew she was close, and you reached back to run your fingers through her hair and tug at it. She groaned at the actionâbut made no move to stop you. With one deep thrust, she came undone. She practically fell on top of you as you both panted, exhausted. She carefully pulled out the strap and threw it on the end of the bed. The two of you rolled over on one side and sighed in content.
You could tell she was tired as her breathing became heavier. She held you from behind and tightened her large hands around your waist. You looked over your shoulder was low eyes, âTired already?â
She chuckled at your dig. âIâm getting old, yâknow.â
In your younger days, the two of you would go at from moon up to sun upâonly stopping because she had a meeting scheduled that morning. Then, when she was finished with the meetingâyouâd go again just for the hell of it.
If she were a man, the two of you wouldâve had an army of babies together.
You smiled, reminiscing in the past. You came back to the moment as she buried her head in your shoulder. You leaned back into her touch as your own eyes fell to a close, and sleep enveloped you like a warm blanket.
While your marriage wasnât perfectâit was definitely improving.
One kiss at a time.

The warm ocean breeze flowed through your (h/c) hair as you gazed upon the horizon. The ship slightly rocked side to side, and you knew you were bond to get seasick soon.
You were currently on your way to visit your wifeâthe formidable General Ambessa Medarda. She had recently took leave from Noxus to come to Piltover, though her reasons were scattered. You two shared a constant stream of letters back and forth, and she told you how the journey went and her rants of disgust towards the council. Sometimes thatâs all she wrote to you about. You didnât mind. What you did mindâhoweverâwas when the letters stopped coming.
It started off smallâyou wrote one letter to her and didnât get a reply. Simply shrugging it off and saying to yourself âmaybe it got lost in the mailâ, you sent anotherâŚ.and anotherâŚand another. It didnât take long for you to suspect something.
Piltover was as greedy as they are unpredictable. While you doubt they wouldâve done anything to Ambessa (considering they would lose much, much more than theyâd gain), you wouldnât take any chances. Anything couldâve happened.
She couldâve fallen illâor worse. At first the thought of it simply slipping her mind was there, but it quickly vanished. Ambessa was never one to let anything associated with you slip her mind.
What really set your suspensions high was when her daughter, Mel Medardaâwho you had a close relationship with for most of her life, one you cherishedâreplied to a letter you sent asking about Ambessa.
âYou should come see for yourself.â
The sentence left you in a state of confusionâbut also reassurance. Ambessa was fine, butâŚ.something was wrong. It wasnât how your wife doingâŚ.
It was what your wife was doing.
âŚâŚ
The ship finally arrived at the docks of Piltover. The few servants and guards that were aboard the ship disembark and helped you unload the few bags you brought with you.
You looked aroundâsearching for Ambessa. You had sent a letter saying you were worried for her and would sail there, but you knew she hadnât gotten it.
Instead, you were met with the council member and your lovely step-daughterâMel.
She smiled as you approached. It had been a while seen youâd seen each other, and she towered over you. You engulfed her in a big, warm hugâone that she seemed to desperately need.
âOh, MelâŚâ, you said into her shoulder.
âMotherâŚâ, she whispered back. She had gave you the title years ago, yet sometimes, you still felt you didnât deserve it.
The two of you shared a moment of silence, taking in each other. Her gaze was soft and warm, yet pity lied beneath it.
You smiled and held onto her shoulders. âMel, look how much youâve grown!â
She laughed, âWish I could say the same for you.â, she said as she gazed down at your shorter frame.
You bumped your hip against yours as you two intertwined your arms. âI stopped growing many, many years ago. Itâs something Iâve came to peace with.â
The two of you continued to talk as your servants and guards trailed you with your few belongings. You commented on the things you saw, asked Mel how her position as a councilwoman was, and who her new boy-toy was all about. She visibly cringed when you brought him up. Though, she wouldâve dwelled more on that topic than the one involving the whole reason you came here.
âWhatâs going on with your mother?â, you finally asked.
Mel looked around, now slightly uncomfortable. She replied to you with a simple âHmâ as the two of you continued walking. You halted her in her tracks.
âHm? Really? Your motherâs acting weird..and now you too?â
She bit the inside of her mouth before she sighed, now fully facing you. âDid you notice anything strange before she left?â
You were taken aback by her question, but after a moment of thinking , you answered, âWell, she has been quite distant as of late. But, you know how she can get. And she hasnât been reply to the letters Iâve sent her.â
Mel looked at you as if she had solved a puzzleâthe thoughts connecting in her mind. But there wasnât an ounce of celebration on her face. She grabbed both of your hands, contemplating what to say next. âIâll take you to see her. Sheâs not far from here.â
You looked at Mel in confusion, while she took you softly by the hand and led you towards Ambessa.
The rest of the walk was spent in an uncomfortable silence.
âŚâŚ
You arrived at a beautiful building. While the sight of it was breathtakingâit was as just as plain as the rest of Piltover.
Mel nodded towards the entrance. âSheâs in thereâ, she whispered.
You nodded, and signaled for your servants and guards to wait here. You hiked your skirt and began to ascend up the white stairs. You spared one more glance in Melâs direction, and found her speaking with your servants and guards. Your excitement was uncontrollable as you got closer and closer to the entrance. You hadnât seen your wife in weeksâand the things you wanted to do to her were unspeakable. You bit your bottom lip just thinking about it.
For a moment, you could hear was sounded like menâs laughter. You brushed it off, until you heard it againâthough this time it was muffled.
What had taken you aback the mostâhoweverâwas the sound of your wifeâs deep, low breaths. The ones she made when sheâŚ
No.
After an eternity, you reached the top of the stairs. And it took everything in you not to scream right then and there.
There Ambessa was, her back turned to you as she sat upon a large, lavish couch. From where you stood, you could see her the coils of her grey hair fall on her shoulders as she laid back. Sat perched on her lap was a manâwith fiery auburn hair and pale skin. He was petite and charmingâalmost like a woman. His lips were full as he licked them and his green hungry eyes raked over your wifeâs frame.
Her honey-kissed hands roamed his body in ways only she had promised to touch you in. You felt a mix of emotions all at once at the sight. Anger, resentment, confusion, surprise, sadness. You wanted to scream and shout. Every painting and vase in the room didnât know how much you wanted to break it.
But instead of doing any of that, you simply whispered her name.
âAmbessa?â
The manâs eyes shot open as he suddenly looked towards you. Embarrassment and surprise was evident on his face, but he made no move to get off Ambessaâs lap.
Your wife finally turned around to catch your eye, and youâd never seen her looked so surprised. Looking her in the eye was your breaking point as you rushed out the room, hot tears streaming down your face.
âY/N!â, she called out your name, but to no avail. She moved to get up, but noticed the twink still on her lap.
âGet off me, you fool!â, she roughly pushed him off. He fell to the floor with a thud and stared at Ambessaâs frame as she raced out the room. The wine was long goneânow spilled across the once white pristine floor.
âWait! Y/N!â, she called out once again. She looked around frantically, and noticed some of her guards stationed at the bottom of the stairs.
âStop her!â, she commanded, but they ignored her as they ushered you into a car.
Mel closed the door just as her mother was about to approach. She pulled on the handle, only to find it locked.
She stopped to look inside the glass, and found the last person she was expectingâMel. She looked at her mother sternly in disappointment through the glass. There wasnât an ounce of sympathy. She simply shook her head. With a wave of her hand, the car was off.
Ambessa stood there dumbfounded, angry, and regretful.
