I think I have partially if not officially lost my mind. Why and I cannot stress this enough, cuz I don't feel like the I'm the only one, are fictional men so much better than what is available in the single dating pool? Like is it because male fictional characters are made for the female gays? Like they are created to attract the women who have been through shit, who are looking to not be swept off their feet and saved essentially but are looking for someone to just save them in a way that's not belittling them. Like, we're not a damsel and distress but we want the equivalency of a warm blanket on a cold rainy night. Save us in that way. Give us a moment of peace in a lifetime of war. I read a book today that had a male character in it who referred to his partner as magic. Everything she did in her life with all her struggles with her autism and her disability he referred to as magic. I want a man that refers to me as magic. I don't want to do the slaps his sad fucking meat sack on me and says oh well I was nice to you for a little while so now you have to deliver.. I don't want that. I want someone to refer to me as magic. Make me feel special for once.
