Hi! Call me Bird. Not my real name, but I’m not about to announce that to the whole internet now am I? I’m just some girl on the internet that loves video games and writing and has ADHD. Occasionally my pet parrot Colby will delete my drafts on here (who knew tongues worked on touch screens?), so if I fall off the face of the earth for a few days that’s probably what happened.

I also post these on Wattpad and Ao3 so if you want you can go boost these over there. You people get more content over here though (don’t tell anyone on the other platforms).

Now about my writings on here, I’m willing to take requests because my brain only goes so far. I’m willing to do character x reader, but absolutely refuse to do explicit smut (make-outs are fine 😆) or any romantic shipping of platoon members.

So this was supposed to be out yesterday, but then somehow I popped my dominant arm out of socket while making my bed and therefore couldn’t finish. Anyway…

I know this one will be a bit controversial, but hear me out. It’s canon that Pierson’s dad was an abusive drunk (don’t quote me on that though), and he joined the military at 16 to get away from his family. I kind of imagine him building the family he always wanted but never had as an adult, and being a doting husband and a really active dad for the time period. He also looks like the type to enjoy some jazz music, something about his haircut I think (don’t ask, I don’t know either).

He also strikes me as an animal guy in general, and a cat person more specifically. I can totally see him feeding a stray kitten in France or something, and keeping it a secret from his men so he doesn’t look soft (top left pic).

He also gives me a woodworker vibe. Like, once he retires from the military, he owns a furniture shop or something.

What do we do when we find out our ex is somehow engaged? We make another mood board of course! What I want to know is how on earth both my ex’s have gotten engaged in the last year, and somehow I’m still single. Funny how that works…

I’m bored, the power is out (thanks California windstorm) so I can’t play COD, my mom has stolen my switch to play ACNH (thanks mom). But you know what works? Pinterest’s collage feature. So you guys get another one of these.

I only gave him glasses because I feel like he ends up needing them shortly after he gets home. Also because Jeff Schine wears glasses.

Also, as I was making this, I realized that this guy looks exactly like my high school boyfriend. I don’t know how to feel about that. I have good taste, I’ll give you that.

Yes, Stiles reminds me of the kinda guy to own a parrot. No, that’s not just because I have some of my own (at least that’s what I’m telling myself.)

I dunno why. Just my own little head cannon. Pierson’s a cuddler, but even more so when he’s tired/not feeling well. Especially when the ptsd is doing its thing and he’s having a hard day. Because it’s usually the macho ones that like to cuddle but would never admit it.

As some who is pretty much blind without her glasses, I have always wondered, “Just how blind is Stiles without his glasses?” Whatever the heck this is, is what my neuro-spicy brain came up with. Also known as, ‘Fun Facts With Bird.’

During WW2, the original guidelines for eyesight were stated to be 20/40 vision correctable to 20/20 with eyeglasses. However the guidelines got lower as the war went on and they lost soldiers. By 1944, the guidelines were 20/200 correctable to at least 20/40 with eyeglasses.

Daniels states within the first few minutes of the game that Stiles is basically completely blind without his glasses. Stiles is also part of one of the last pulls for army recruitment for WW2, which most likely means he didn’t meet some sort of requirement before then. By rubbing brain cells together, we can deduce that that requirement is most likely eyesight.

Considering the guidelines of the time, and given the fact that my own vision is 20/200, Stiles vision is most likely down in that 20/200 range. Which means that, without his glasses, this is what he sees:

Headcanons for the boys over winter/Holiday season. Wrote this while baking Christmas cookies. At least I was until my hand mixer decided to go to heaven. RIP Emmy (yes it had a name). Christmas 2021-Christmas 2024. You and the baked goods you helped make will be missed.

Aiello

*Nonna is a darn good cook, so he gains a good 10-15 pounds during the holiday season every year from all the good food.

*Frank Aiello Winter wear- button up shirt and a knit sweater/cardigan (probably made by nonna). He’s a cozy boy!

*Enjoys pelting his family with snowballs. Even if it means bringing them inside if no one will go out. Usually results in his getting chewed out in Italian for making a mess in the house.

Stiles

* He spends the entire season complaining about the cold under a blanket by a fireplace with a cup of tea and a book.

* The only thing he likes about the winter is all the baked goods that allow him to indulge his sweet tooth.

*All he wants for Christmas is film for his camera, maybe a girlfriend, and for people to not interrupt him while he’s talking.

Zussman

* Turns out the cold does make the old wound act up. (Same, Zuss)

* Goes sledding with his baby sister and the kids in his neighborhood when it snows because he’s basically still a kid at heart.

* Once knocked the menorah over when he was a kid and lit the curtains on fire. For some reason it’s now a family tradition to tell that story every year and see how embarrassed he gets.

Daniels

* He’s a horrible gift giver, but he tries his best and that’s what matters.

*Burns himself pretty bad trying to get the fireplace going. Either that or impales himself with the fire poker.

*Constantly ambushes Hazel with a mistletoe because he wants an excuse to kiss her. She thought it was cute at first, but by the end of the season she’s sick and tired of it.

Pierson

*He’s the one cooking Christmas dinner because he wants his wife to have a break to go lay down or something.

*Goes all out for his kids by climb up and stomping on the roof with bells. He had a rough childhood so he wants his kids to keep the magic of childhood as long as possible.
