dirty laundry.

Aaron frowned as he scrolled through his empty text message inbox. He couldn’t stand the silence anymore. It was killing him. He had never gone this long without talking Bella before and it was diving him mad. Starring up at his ceiling his ran his hand through his blonde hair. Talking a deep breathe, he began writing a message to Bella. Hey, I really miss you. I’m going crazy without hearing from you. Where have you been? Finals are coming up. I’m worried. Aaron pondered. He read over the message again and again. He debated if he should send a different one. Quickly, he erased his original message and tried again. Hi Bella. I know you’re still mad but I’m just checking in. He sighed. That was worst than the first message. He rolled over onto his side and curled up a bit with his face in his phone. Hey I know you’re still mad at me but I’m worried about you. We’ve never gone this long without talking and it hurts. I know I hurt you even worse, but you can’t deny that the separation is killing you too. Aaron bit his lip. It was a risky text, but he knew that if he continued to think about pressing send he never. Swiftly he pressed the send button and prayed for a response. @isabellaporter

Isabella wasn’t one to run away. Even after everything with her ex husband, the cheating -- the divorce. She faced the music and overcame her problem rather than run away from it. After what happened with Aaron though? She couldn’t face him. She needed to get away. So she went back home to Long Island to visit her family. Of course she got things worked out with her classes; stating she had to go home for family matters. Didn’t think running away from a broken heart was a very good excuse. She was laying on her sisters bed watching tv while her sister was at work when she looked at her phone as it vibrated. The name that popped up made her heart ache. Aaron hadn’t spoken a word to her since their fight, which is what she wanted but it was still weird not talking to him. “Who says it’s killing me?” She texted back, not denying it but not saying it was true as well. Yeah it sucked, but she was still mad at him and probably would be for a while. He betrayed her and she needed time before she could trust him again. 

     charlotte had just stepped in when she saw isabella walking past her. “hey!” she called out, jogging after her friend ( or walking as fast as she could with her heels ) and grabbing her arm. “damn, girl, looking fine,” she teased the other, giving her friend a hug before spinning her around. “now you’re supposed to go all ‘tell me about it, stud’, you know?” she told her in a hushed voice as if the other needed a reminder. 

isabella was a bit distracted, looking at everybody in costume. so when she suddenly was grabbed by the arm and hugged it caused her to jump a little, but when she saw it was charlotte she hugged her back real quickly. “i could say the same about you! you are the hottest jessica rabbit i have ever seen.” bella laughed at the comment and gasped a little nodding her head. flipping her curls, she gave a little sultry smirk. “tell me about it -- stud.” 

Schuyler was walking around, chatting up with pretty much everyone. When you’re the ‘good guy’, you tend to make a lot of acquaintances. He passed by the front door, pausing only as someone walked in. The mask he had on was obscuring his vision, so he had to squint to see who it was. “Isabella? That you?” He asked, walking over to her, not without bumping into someone. “Oh, sorry.” He muttered out, finally reaching the young woman and smiling. “You look good. I mean, you always look good, but…” He took a sip of his drink before he babbled on.

As Isabella walked into the house she heard somebody call her name. Over the noise, the music and the talking it was a bit muffled, but she knew she heard it. Looking around she couldn’t see anybody, but suddenly when a boy dressed as Robocop came up to her she couldn’t help but giggle. She was tempted to look under the mask, but she had a feeling who it was when he started to talk and complimented her. “Thank you. You look great as well -- Schuyler?” It wasn’t hard to miss the boy, and she did know the voice but hiding his eyes was like a masquerade. You never could be quite sure. 

“It could fall under the sugar daddy thing if you really want. I’m a sucker for Vegas and BSB has some decent songs. My mom saw them in concert when she was my age.” He laughed, running a hand through his hair, though careful not to mess up what had. “Oh come on, gorgeous. It’s me. What do you think I’m gonna put effort into. Or who I’m gonna put effort into.”

“I can’t tell if you are kidding or not. I mean I thought you were kidding before -- but the new Chanel backpack in my room proved me wrong. So if you aren’t kidding than I will probably scream and might have to take back my no sexual favors things.” She joked and flipped her brown curls over her shoulder. “Oh come on handsome I am not stupid. I know this is like a pussy playground for you.” She laughed and held out her empty cup. “I need some more shots. My cup is very dry.” 

“You’ve got all night to fill yourself up with the strong shit, Isabella.” Tj smiled, watching as she put the drink down. He wrapped his arms around her waist and lifted her off the ground slightly. “Alright, so, I’ve had at least four drinks already– you need to catch up.” he teased, taking hold of her hand and leading her to the kitchen so they could grab another drink.

“This is true. You need to help me though. I am not as pro as this as you.” Isabella laughed when her best friend lifted her off the ground, squeezing him before he sat her down and pulled her hand towards the kitchen. “Damn! I am a little offended that you started without me Tyler James.” She smirked and pulled herself up against him as if her hip was attached to his own. 

“So you like NSYNC and Backstreet Boys, don’t you? I was never one for boy bands, but Justin Timberlake I could get for. I did- how did you guess?” He said and laughed loud, setting his own drink down. “I’m looking to put my good effort into something else tonight anyway, babe.”

“Oh please, I am a BSB girl for life. Always have been, always will be. I would kill to go see them in Vegas -- but that cost money and I am a poor little thing. Unless that falls under your sugar daddy umbrella and you want to take me.” She joked with a smile, and a raise of her eyebrow. At his comment she couldn’t help but roll her eyes a little. “Oh really? I could only guess what you would want to put effort into at a frat party Alex.” 

She rolled her eyes and grabbed the cup from her hand getting her another drink. “My goodness. Here is your fucking drink.” She sighed heavily as she handed the girl the cup. “What’s your problem with me anyways? Like why are you taking all of your anger out on me? I didn’t do anything to you that would cause you to personally attack me like this.”

He looked at her costume, more like eyed it very closely. He also wanted to make sure she was okay after the other night, but he was going to leave that out. “Nobody in this school knows good music when they see it. Billy Idol, Sandy.” He said, looking her up and down.

Bella laughed loudly and shrugged her shoulders, shoes in one hand while she had am empty plastic shot glass in the other. “I am sorry! I am a 90′s baby  who never ventured into the 80′s music scene. Very nice though. Did you pick him just so you can go around being half naked? I mean I know you like clothes off, but this is a bit lazy.” She teased with a smirk. 

About 45 minutes into the part Alex already had the piece that was supposed to be a part of his costume off and he was walking around shirtless and leather pants with Billy Idol hair from the 80′s. He wasn’t hot in the house, he had just been fighting with it even before people started arriving. Right now he leaning down to look through the queue he was posting up. Filled with nothing but 80′s songs as he was mouthing the song that was currently playing before he looked up seeing someone. “Yo, wait.” He said, jumping over the table in front of him careful not to knock any drinks down. 

Bella had already lost her Danny -- being Tj, and her Sandy heels. They were hurting her feet. She never did heels well. She was standing by the drink table, downing a couple of shots when Alex suddenly hopped over it causing her to let out a little scream. “Jesus christ,  slow your roll there -- who the fuck are you supposed to be anyways?” She laughed and looked him up and down, trying to think of something. 

“It’s Josephine.” She corrected the girl as she rolled her eyes. “You can get your own drink okay? You are just trying to use your title to make me look like a little puppy dog compared to you. So if I get you your stupid fucking drink then will you leave me alone. Let me go have a fun night without a bitch trying to breathe down my neck.”

“You act like I care about what you girls think of me? Well you are wrong on that one.” She spoke with a long sigh. “Oh look at us, we get to pay to live in a house with a bunch of girls that we don’t even really like anyways.” She rolled her eyes. “Like come on. I’m not getting you a drink. I’m not your little bitch.”

“Bella!” Tj called out to his friend as he made his way through the crowd of people currently in the common room of his fraternity. He’d been keeping an eye out for her since the party had started, and was glad she’d eventually rocked up tonight. “You look amazing, babe.” he smirked, handing her the drink he’d initially just fixed up for himself. “Try the punch. It’s great.”

When Bella say Tj she smiled bigger, glad he was able to find her. She really wasn’t in the mood to push through people to find him. Even though he was tall enough for her to probably spot. “Thanks boo. You look pretty handsome yourself.” She took the drink and took a sip, scrunching her face. “Good, strong. Which is what I need -- but first..” She put down the cup and jumped up, wrapping her arms around him tightly. 

“Go get you another drink? Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe that you have two feet that are working perfectly fine. So what if I am a pledge? Doesn’t give you the right to boss me around at a party.” “Besides, really you dressed up as Sandy from Grease. Talk about unoriginal.”

“Um, actually it does give me the right actually? I mean getting on the bad side of an actual member doesn’t really bode well for your future in the sorority does it?” She stated still holding her her drink with a laugh. “You already said I looked great, can’t take it back. Plus I didn’t do it for any of you guys. Tj wanted me to be his Sandy, so I am. So drink, go.” 

“You do know Grease came out in the 70s, right? And was set in the 50s.” he said as he saw his classmate.

Isabella rolled her eyes slightly. “1978  is close enough to the 80′s okay? I could see some girl in thee 80′s dressing like this anyways.” 

Josie entered the party, dressed as the “Princess” from Breakfast Club. She was wearing a pink shirt and short brown skirt. She had on some red lipstick and had her hair curled. She held a red solo cup in her hand, looking around for someone to talk to. “Hey there. You look so great.”
