random rebecca headcanon i have is that after season 3 she actually did travel by herself for a prolonged period of time. it was definitely somewhere where she wasn't recognized, away from press and in a place she was able to fully let loose and relax. i imagine somewhere in the caribbean, in a luxury resort of course. she didn't really keep up with continuously dyeing her hair either, came back to richmond with more brown hair than blonde and a tan and i think she contemplated whether she wanted to even dye her hair back to blonde at all. eventually she did, but i think her time away gave her the chance she needed to really think about what she wanted from her life.
