random post but perhaps one of my biggest turnoffs is not having empathy for drug addicts and the homeless. refer to that man on the street as a junkie again, and look me in the eyes while you do it this time. i'll tell you the anecdotes of having a junkie for a father and being an 11 year old administering narcan for the first time. laugh at another homeless person on your timeline, go on, go ahead. i'll be right there beside you, telling you about how i and my sister frequented our friend's houses so we'd have one. these people have stories to tell. a human is not made an animal when they have puncture wounds on their arms.
