damonhiggins:
Damon wouldnât lie, he was entirely confused about why he was here. The whole premise of Greek Mythology being real confused him, but after the couple of weeks heâd spent here heâd come to believe it. The only thing which annoyed him was that he hadnât been claimed yet. It was typical, heâd never had a parent who cared for him and even now, while he sat around feeling sorry for himself, he didnât have one. It made him wonder whether he even really belonged here. Of course it explained the things that had happened on the outside of the camp, but why hadnât his Dad claimed him yet?Â
âWhat are you looking at?â He raised an eyebrow at someone stood across from him. His attitude had only got worse since heâd got here, he couldnât help it.
âSpoken like a truly wound up freshie.â They never came to camp any differently, âTake a breather, kid. Lifeâs not that fucking hard here.â If anything it was easier, or heâd thought so, even if heâd never really liked being at camp. It was stifling, he didnât like being segregated. âHonestly, you look like youâre about to implode.â
