(Thank you for bringing light to the derby situation bc I did not know about all of that. And I have horrible anxiety too so I completely understand)

((Yayyy! Well as you have experienced. This man is uhhhhh dense to put it nicely. He will not realize you are flirting with him until you say "Hey I am flirting with you" And then he will say oh thank god ok I wasn't sure. You could kiss his cheek and he'd be like maybe this is a cultural thing you don't know and just assume it was platonic.

He is showing up to dates in almost a full suit it doesn't matter where it's at. He's a dork.

You sort of have to decide you are dating him. He's too focused on every other thing to think 'maybe I should date someone' so you do have to ask first. He'll be thrilled about it he just won't ever think to do it first.

He's not great at 'traditional' romantic gestures, if you want flowers you have to tell him you want flowers. That said he will remember details about his S/O they don't remember even giving him. He will remember what food you like, what you hate, your favorite color, your birthday, your cats birthday, what outfits you like wearing, what shows you watch and which character is your favorite, who you got in an argument with three months ago and why you got in that argument with them in the first place. When he does give gifts this makes him very good at picking them out for people.

He's scrambling frantically over like a lanky panicked deer to open doors for whoever his date is.

Why can't you ask him??

• They are kind of rude honestly and don't like or actively hate most of my friends.

• They hang out with people I vehemently try to avoid and they are probably all a terrible influence.

• Also they wear really tall shoes and it makes them loom over me and I am unused to not being the tallest person in a room if there's no jocks around so that's eerie.

• They hit me once (in the face!) over things I can't control which was awful and mean. >:(

• They also did tell me I look like a praying mantis the other day which was nice so I guess the scale is reset on that??
