About the Creator
Copper is an introverted adult and disaster queer who juggles housework, pet care, a job and taking care of their parent along with their personal projects. Not very brown, not very white, kind of a mutt, possibly neurodivergent. Not very interested in dating or sex, but they're enthusiastically supportive of sex work, adult art and (consensual between adults.) kinks. Being raised by a traumatized parent Copper is an anxiety ridden nihilist, struggling with finding life tolerable. They're someone who has trouble talking irl so they share most of their thoughts, vent and express their emotions via art. Mostly of the dark, sad and transgressive variety. They don't have a degree outside of a high school diploma, but their interests outside of art include casually studying psychology, anthropology, death philosophy, geology and zoology.
About the Comic
'The Guide to a Healthy Relationship' is an M-rated character study/psychological drama about trauma, abuse and exploration of mental health struggles. The story being about an emotionally immature alcoholic trying to make amends with an ex-childhood friend, upon learning they're still alive. While the cast of this comic are queer/LGBT+, this doesn't play much of a role in the plot, with the main focus being imperfection and finding meaning in life. Essentially a hurt/comfort story with emphasis on the 'hurt'. In spite of the title and genders or sexuality of the characters, this is a platonic friendship, or found family story.
⚠️Those who are easily influenced by fiction, under the age of 17 and are struggling with mental health issues should not read this comic. The contents currently including: Abuse, manipulation, blood, mild self-harm, mild body horror, slurs, bigotry, suicidality (Meaning the overall discussion/depiction of suicidal ideations and suicide/attempted suicide.), nudity, profanity, substance abuse and sexual assault.⚠️
