Cressida's lips curved into a knowing smile as she gave a small nod. "You're not wrong. People love pretending things were better than they actually were. Makes it easier than admitting they've spent years romanticizing the same tired nonsense."

"to be fair, cress, i try to stay out of shit that doesn't involve me." she laughed. "though, being in the csi, that doesn't say much." she shrugged. "i don't care what most people can handle, they couldn't even handle a day in my job, so what they say, doesn't matter to me." she added with another shrug. "probably a little bit of both if i'm being honest."

"Oh.. most of were too young then to understand what it was" Logan chuckled "Yeah, you are probably right. Might run into a lot of people, whenever I got the time" He was too busy with hockey practice lately "I'm John Logan, by the way"

"yeah, every generation has their own source of gossip." she said with a shrug. "i'm esmerelda ortiz, it's nice to meet you, john logan." she smiled at him. "i work for the csi so if you see me looking exhausted more often than not, it's because of work, and not because of gossip girl."

"That's true, though I think more people are starting to let Gossip Girl get under their skin, and I'm not judging anyone, I feel like she's gotten under my skin from time to time, you know?"

"oh trust me, i know. the only thing we can do, or well, try to do, is ignore her. i know that is a lot easier said than done though."

"I have heard of him, but got no clue who he is" Other people mentioned him too "He isn't Gossip Girl anymore, is he? And why should I run around the entire city searching for him to get my answers?"

"as far as i know, he hasn't been gossip girl since 2012." esme looked at him and smiled. "you don't have to go and run for him, manhattan may seem big, but you'll probably run into him sooner or later."

"It was fun when my sister posted rumors about people and so on back home, but... " John paused, shook his head "This Gossip Girl seems to be on another level. What's her deal? Does she want to destroy people's life because she thinks it's fun or what? I don't get it"

"honestly, if you want the real deal on gossip girl, go to the person who started it, that is dan humphrey." she looked at him. "he should be able to answer all your questions."

"Okay, I feel like Gossip Girl's credibility is starting to fall off. It seems like everything she posts lately, is starting to be the same story, but just with different people." @ggstarterblog

"that's because she is. she has nothing to actually write so she sits behind her computer and makes up lies to start drama."

Cressida stood near the edge of the bar, her gaze drifting over the crowd as if she were searching for something more interesting than polite conversation. A faint, knowing smile touched her lips as she lifted her glass, clearly entertained by something no one else seemed to notice.

"it's always this dull and it's always been this dull." esme looked at cressida. "everyone has rose colored glasses though and it's pathetic."

"This is so much better than a frat party at Briar U." Allie laughed as she danced to the music that was playing. "I seriously needed this!" @ggstarterblog

"one thing that gossip girl does well is throw a party. she might be a lying, manipulative bitch, but she does know how to throw a party."

"I know I've only been here for a few months, and still learning about this world, but I still don't understand how Gossip Girl can control so much. Someone has to do something against her, right?" She asked and looked around the party that was going on. "Don't get me wrong, this is an...interesting party, but still." @ggstarterblog

"I love American Girl Dolls so much, I still have mine and I think Jackie has her's too." She laughed. "The movies were my favorite thing on earth when I was younger."

"honestly, mine too. there's just something so nostalgic about them, that i just love to watch whenever life gets too fucked up."

"My weekend was pretty good." He shrugged. "Then again, I am so good at hiding away and not getting into any trouble, well trouble that Gossip Girl will write about."

esme laughed. "hey, there is nothing wrong with that at all. especially if you stay off of gossip girl's radar, that is always a win."

Emir chuckled. "I think that's sweet that your parents kept those for you." He said. "Are you going to do anything with them?"

"yeah, i have a spare room in my house, not a guest room per say, but i am going to put them in there."

"No offense, but I have always hated those dolls, they're so fucking creepy."

"you look like the type that would hate those dolls." she joked and smiled. "though, i think a lot of people are creeped out by dolls in general."

"Oh my gosh, I love American Girl Dolls so much! I wanted them so badly growing up." She laughed. "My weekend was fantastic! How about yours?"

"well you're super rich and famous now, you can always get them. i heard they're bringing back the original set too." esme said. "my weekend was good, i didn't have work, for once."

hunt raised a brow. "i'm sorry, a what? what is an american girl doll and why do you have a collection of them?" he asked. "my weekend was pretty boring, which is actually really nice."

"an american girl doll is just what it sounds like, a doll, but they are based throughout american history." she looked at him. "well, that's good, i guess."
