The cats watched the sight from the ground; peculiar a creature was he hanging on Aichi, but his likeness to their kind had them curious, eager to discern if commander was really one of their kind, or, at least, in part. Aichi let loose a soft laugh at the man’s demand, content with playing along.

“Permanent cuteness? I think plenty of people in the city would fawn to see you in this form — would you prefer it be a sacrifice or an offering?” A paw had pointed the direction he sought, and so the mage obeyed. “While we make our way over, why not tell me about your costume? Is it a common sight where you come from?”

“No it is not! Nya. Rather because I have lost my body, I only possess this limited edition dolls with weak limb motion… for someone! But also

or the sales!” He is candid and honest about all this, having nobody for the couple of millions of cycles that he has been alive, its been quiet a ride. One day he might get a strong enough body to do what he most desires!

He was an eccentric character — as if the free-spirited jump hadn’t given that away. Into his hands, the paper entered, unfolding to find that, as the other stated, it was a map.

He presumed it to be related to one of the various hunt-related activities within the city. “To cuteness? But if you’re cute already, doesn’t that mean you’ve found the treasure inside yourself?” He wasn’t all that certain what he had tried to articulate came out correctly; in fact, it sounded bizarrely constructed upon thinking it over after the fact. The whole matter had been overcomplicated by his getting hung up on the paper’s description as being a map. “—Never mind, let’s head over there".

All was lost on the cats, who merely enjoyed the company of another feline-orientated companion.

He’s small enough to hang on to Aichi soldiers, the cute soldier commander [war criminal] made squeaky sounds as he points to the right directions. “Ah! But I am only cute for now! For permannet cuteness! You must sacrifice....your money!” its a sales pitch in the spirit of the world of el dorado of course. Whats a world without a bit of sacrifice in it?

“Actually, I still live if I lose this body,” Mao clarifies. “My consciousnesses is left on a computer somewhere. As long as I can access that server and access a body, I live.”

“Unfortunately for you though, I can’t use my phone, and I can’t hack into anything. Money is something I don’t care for, nor do I need. Sorry if I disappointed you, so called god.”

 “Hahahah! You lower yourself too much.” he says without malice. Since the originals of one such as this man was stuck inside a cat, he wonders if there was a choice. Perhaps there would be more things to think about later on. 

 “Happi Happi fun! You miss out on so many things!” wether that was emotions or actual fun is best left when Tezcatlipoca has a full information tablet on what Mao is actually. For now he is referring to his lack of thumbs. 

He’s fluttering off the ground, as it seems his tiny fake stuffed wings seem to work somewhat. 

“Sales? As a ghost? You’re a strange one, aren’t ya?” Mao asks. “Why not just rest when you’re dead? You’re just a revenant now; take pride in that.”

Mao meows back, thinking about the advantages of being dead; he didn’t think it outweighed the want to live right now. He was an old cat, and even if his life was never going to be perfect, it worked just fine here.

 “Unlike you my furry ally! Just because my real body is dead doesn’t mean my soul follows! I am the god Tezcatlipoca! creator of many suns and destroyer as well!” nyaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA-

Well his body was indeed very soft, though Mumei’s ass hurt from falling on the ground. Holding the Therian while he boasted, he couldn’t help but to just squeeze him carefully. Wow he could almost get addicted to this softness, no wait Mumei focus! 

“What the heck are you going here anyway?”

 “A private army needs funds.” 

Being a therian who has lost his original body, perhaps one that looked and resembled the one his brother had right now to a point, he had no need for food or drinks, hence he was effectively immortal. 

“Oh crap, it MOVES?!” Not only that, but he could recognize that voice anywhere! Though before Mumei could move, the plushie-not plushie but definately a shrunk down Therian barreled right into his stomach, knocking him over and sending his hat flying. 

As a stuff animal, his current body is very soft. 

 His cushioning is super cute! and also nature friendly and filled with cotton. 

 “I am the Warmongers' foremost frontline commanding officer! I, have been waiting for you! You have finally returned...to this battleground choking with gunpowder smoke!

The stuntman would be fine; Sub-Manager knew it, Momo knew it. But ever a worrisome soul, the sudden nature of the dive took Aichi by surprise and scrambling to catch the feline, as he hollered. His thought so frazzled that the possibility of using his temporary power to simply have the falling figure levitate be lost in the moment.

“—Hold on, I’m coming!” He stumbled into position, the best he could calculate the other might fall given the brief window and his frantic state of mind. And somehow, succeeded in the mission. Even if his arms had to fight to steady themselves once a new weight dropped itself upon them. “Are you alright? You aren’t hurt?”

 Every step he made was like a squeak. Every step was made artificially.
